in WinMUGEN, there is a DXmode setting in WinMUGEN's mugen.cfg
 
by setting DXmode to None, all Reds, and Blues become reversed.
 

This is what happens.
 
 
I recreated this DXmode None motif, even down to the combo text, and hitsparks

 

 

 
It works with literally all MUGENs, using the same localcoord of the 1.0, 1.1b version of the original lifebar, 320x240
the way it works is, you simply leave it down in the same location as the Default Lifebar, as it only has 3 new files, and the rest require the original files themselves.

How's it going, people? I'm getting back into the hobby after an 8+ year hiatus. Argentinian, turning 37 in 11 days.
 
Been using MUGEN since the old days of DOS, and I'm extremely hyped to see IKEMEN moving forward more and more.

I'd almost imagine my Mugen was less a cohesive narrative, and more a gigantic mess with some characters just being outright insane or loving battle, while others try to win these fights hoping for a way out.
 
It sounds kind of dark the more I think about it, but hey.

Normally most character author never  test there character in different resolutions and write x y coordinates as absolute value. this will result the issue you are experiencing.
 
the solution is not use absolute value.
 
for example:
I want to put a box at the right bottom of the screen.
Most people will use x y as x = 320, y = 240
this will result the box at the desired place only if the screen is 4:3
 
if you change to x = 320 y = 180
this will result the box at the desired place only if the screen is 16:9
 
the right thing to do is
1 set mugen version to 1.1
2 set x to  screenwidth (a trigger provided by Mugen 1.1 it will get you the current size of the x), and y to screenheight (a trigger provided by Mugen 1.1 it will get you the current size of the y)
only in this way it will always adapter the screen no matter it is 16:9 or 4:3

While not common practice in conventional situations, I think this case is very fair to issue an immediate ban consider the poster has a very prominent history of joining forums for the sake of harassment and hasn't learn a single thing from being banned everywhere else.
