- A lot of her attacks are pretty negative even on hit. This has an impact on the consistency of her combos as well. Here's the breakdown...
standing medium = -7 standing strong = -8 crouching light = -10 crouching medium = -7 Tackle (a version) = -18 Tackle (b version) = -23 Tackle (c version) = -18
- Damage values for normals seem a little disproportionate in certain variations. Examples being that aerial light and aerial crouch do substantially more damage than aerial medium and heavy/crouching medium.
- Certain supers do fairly low damage; Windy, Firey and Earthy come into mind.
- None of her specials and supers do guard damage.
- Complete absence of damage scaling.
- Swordy allows for easy resets into standing light into Swordy again, rinse and repeat.
- Can't chain light normals into heavy normals.
- Sakura's launcher cannot be jump canceled, which disallows for follow-ups with its large endlag.
- Shield has too much endlag, it sometimes makes her susceptible to being punished even on hit.
- She's pretty lacking in specials and, frankly, has a little but too many supers that barely covers various purposes, sometimes overlapping in utility.
- Supers have no super pause, which makes comboing into them a lot harder.

The graceful and gentle Hotaru makes her way into MUGEN seeking to reunite her family, but this time in a completely custom gameplay style! However, she still retains the essence of her King of Fighters XI/Neo Geo Battle Colosseum incarnations right down to the intricate stance system. Hotaru may be a higher execution character compared to my previous characters relatively speaking, but that doesn't mean she isn't any fun to use either.

All previous characters made by me have been updated significantly, so, definitely get them now that they have all been noticeably improved.
All characters
- Improved jump buffering.
- Improved Burst buffering, bursting should be made more reliable now compared to before where it would fail in many custom state instances.
- All grounded normals can be canceled on hit against aerial opponents, making them safer to use and better for punishing.
- Many aesthetic improvements for both FX and SFX.
- All characters now can wall tech much like how they can air and ground tech.
Sayaka Miki
- Tweak damage scaling on Affetuoso, should do slightly more damage at the end of combos now.
- Slightly increased her juggling.
- Fixed a bug on 6y that caused MUGEN to randomly crash.
- Now has a wall jump, increasing her mobility options.
Hieda no Akyuui
-A list long enough that it's just easier to say that most of the things pointed out by RicePigeon in her respective thread has been addressed.
Homura Akemi
- Decreased her juggling.
- Tweaked damage scaling.
- Fixed a bug for Rebellion that occasionally caused the cutscene to fail to play even on hit.
- Slightly reduced her j.2z's OTG set-ups at higher combo hits.

Hi Guys
For a long time I wanted to recreate the Heroes of SNK (The King of Fighters) in a new story, with new drama, new characters, etc.
The thing is that I'm creating a Story Mode for MUGEN / IKEMEN that I really feel that is not going to be bad. I will try as much as possible to be treated as an Open World where you can visit whatever you want. It also has Semi and Final Bosses that can resort to a cinematica.
I also wanted to add a monetary system, that is, defeats an enemy that releases money and with that to be able to buy buffs for your character.
I'm moving forward little by little, I hope you like it and subscribe for more content :3

Finished two of her level 1 supers, just need to finish one more.
I'm trying to actually retain her EX Specials from the source game, but because they're unremarkable to to be supers, I've assigned them a different purpose of being similar to EFZ Reinforce Specials, except they use up power meter instead and apply an extent of reverse damage scaling in trade of being less damaging than supers. Also, for the record, Shino-Ichigeki can be canceled from Sashin-Ken provided you have enough power to do so and you've hit a target in the process.
The combined damage would actually be somewhat lower when Guts is factored, but it's a good way to finish combos since Shino-Ichigeki's damage increased based on hitcount.

Since Mai was the last EFZ character for the while has been released, this will be the unveiling of my next WIP. This time, I'll be tackling a Melty Blood character that I personally enjoy playing in the source game and the thought of making her in my own style has lingered for a while. With the introduction of Series Abilities, Miyako will retain a few Melty Blood mechanics while converting her in my own custom style.

My super biased feedback incoming:
- A taunt that has a CLSN1 box but doesn't hit the opponent....ok then.
- Most of the sprites are either uneven, or not very fitting. Take this weird crouch thing for example:
- A lot of Ed's attacks have infinites (a very generic flaw in your characters, wlan, no offense)
- Most of the attacks (or CLSN1 placements) have VERY bad range. For example, I couldn't even hit KFM with Ed's crouching medium kick. (This makes the chance of combo chains really slim.)
- I also can't even hit KFM with Ed's Jumping light punch attack whenever I was close to him:
- Ed's dash stop takes too long, plus, he just STOPS and doesn't slide whenever he performing a dash stop after running forwards
- According to this screesnhot, Ed's sneeze wasn't really strong enough to hit opponents at a close distance. (Same goes for the Sumo special too)
- Ed's batter special is extremely underpowered
- I'm unable to perform the "Sheldon" (why is it usable only in air?), "eddy," and "edd" assists for some reason.
- I don't know if you'd call this a "squirt gun" special (according to what you put in Fighter Factory), this looks more like a taser weapon to me.
- So much red CLSNS.....
- Ed-zilla hyper takes WAY too much damage, as if the fall damage was the major impact of the damage amount.
- Last but not least, I'm unable to perform the "Bounty hunters" hyper.
That's from me I guess. I know this is beta, but seeing how Ed looks rough with his animations and the coding makes it quite unplayable, you still have got a long way to go, my friend.
Hopefully your final release will fix all of that.

Hunting demons in the night to protect those she love, a misunderstood girl, Mai Kawasumi cuts her way into MUGEN. This was a 2 month project and I hadn't really expected it to take this long, but it's definitely worth the effort in polishing her complexity to be streamlined with the rest of the cast and the recent updates they have. As mentioned before, this will be the last EFZ character for a while since I'll be moving on to different series as for now.

With Nayuki being near complete, I've decided to get a head start on the next Kanon girl and the first sword user in a while since my very first character. With long reaching swordplay and a ghostly assist "Hope" in conjunction to form an oppressive lockdown game, I'll be working on Mai Kawasumi. Not posting too much for this opening post so I can have the ability to actually have more to post as I progress.
On a side note, this will be the last EFZ that I'll be doing for a while.
