Dunno. for now, the select screen can hold 30 playable chars, but it can hold up to 45 with no resize. Since the bosses aren't playble, there is no limit for how much bosses we will add. I will wait Zvitor to come back fromt the vacation (and mine ends January 9) to talk about a beta release, with less chars.

ah yeah, most of the chars are ripped from the game. edits will be accept, but with caution about the SFF, is just to add the images on a sff file and align. This speeds up the process a lot. I've contacted MDI about some chars from his game, like Fang and Eric

thanks. custom...in wich sense? If it means closed game, hum no, it may work outside the project, but the portrais would need to be redone. But the bosses (in most cases) will work only on the game, because many of them need to be on its own stage. Hey Ryon (or any other people), do you wanna contribute? If anyone wanna build SFF for some chars, this could help us greatly

hum, I've tryied a 85% resize and it ends good: but will he be reconized as Ryu? And he would need some new frames, like a transition frame to the shuriken throw (second line): I can use the next frame as a transition

If they meet this size rule, yes: Getsufuu Maden is 8bit, so its out. Ninja Gaiden I need to find a good version, the robot seams to not have rips, Simon is my plans

yes. we want to stay away from too comic/joke chars. This is why we don't have metal slug chars.

thanks man. That was one of our differences wich leads to our break up from that project: we think that a beta could be already released, but MDI doesn´t agrees with that. I was involved in Megaman Scrap Arena too (making a bonus char) and at his other project (the Gameboy one). Dunno if I still takes parts on that projects.
