This looks very interesting. i wonder if the sprites are custom or does she come from a another game?

there are a lot of mugen chars that are released by Japanese authors but rarely come to view to the rest of the mugen community. If you know of any unconventional chars like these would you give us some heads up?

I have commented on his recent videos and he has clarified on what he meant. He is not planning to sell them. (That's good), What he meant was hopefully he might recieve donations in case people were willing to contribute. I think I may have misinterpreted the videos, so that's my fault. Anyway,I have been following his progress and giving him advice on his chars. It looks like he is willing to listen to constructive criticism. I agree with PB, we should just update and reorganize the collections there isnt really a point to have dupes or copies. The collections while organized neede to be updated. instead of redirects. i rather have multiple links posted in case they go offline or are no longer available at the author's site. so just go through the news and releases and match them to the collections and update the collections. (then delete the dupe post since its already in the collection) is there a way to archive threads? so that the information doesnt disappear? that way if someone was linked to a single thread they would be redirected to the collection page? but the archived thread is locked and just exists for record instead of having the first page of collection thread be full of releases and then scrolling through the thread to find additional links posted on the later pages. Also i dont really like having lifebar portraits as previews but thats just me. some of the things in the collection threads dont even have preview pics.

No, I am not the one making them, but someone is. He goes by the name Artistropeadope and you can find him on Youtube. He is a big fan of Final Fantasy and was disappointed that mugen didn't really have quality FF chars so he decided to make some. He calls himself a pioneer and hopes to "revive" mugen. He has also been working on his own original characters too. The sprite work is very impressive considering they are all hand drawn. However (imo) the animation is a little stiff. I dont think he is releasing them for free and hoping for donations. I get the feeling he wants to be paid up front for them. His argument is that he spent a lot of time and effort on them so he deserves some monetary amount. I personally feel he shouldn't charge for these because of these reasons: A) Final Fantasy is a licensed franchise of Square Enix. He doesn't have the right to make money off of someone else's characters. He isn't protected by mugen copyright privileges because he is asking for money. B) this brings me to my next point he is using mugen which is a free program to make these that means he would be profiting off of Elecbyte too. What do you guys think?

thank you for this share and the update. Its refreshing to have anime characters that arent chibis. These guys fit right in with my samurai showdown and last blade chars.

cannot download due to my browser blocking the author's website. It seems the website is infected. Could someone put up an alternate download? (I checked MFG too same problem) . Upload to 4shared, mediafire, sendspace is reccommended and preferred.
