  2. Check out the latest Udo Jinei Alpha preview! At the moment, he has 5 normal attacks, his backpass attack (featured in his epic fight against Kenshin), his Shin No Ippo variations, and all his hurt animations. Enjoy! Note that he has 3 variations of the Shin No Ippo special. [li]Weak version drains opponent's kenki, [/li] [li]medium drains power (if opponent has lower kenki), and [/li] [li]heavy freezes the opponent (if opponent has lower kenki).[/li] Next on the list are the rest of his normal attacks, specials, and his Shin No Ippo hyper (which will drain opponents health over time).

  9. This was intentional. Berserk mode only works for AI because Shun Ten Satsu is unblockable in this mode. STS can still be done in Tenken Mode, however.
  10. Sure.. As you notice, there is a kenki indicator below the lifebar which swirls faster as time passes by. The player can help speed up the kenki spinning by getting the first hit, taunting, guard pushing, and countering. There will be a brief superpause with a "tweet" sound once the kenki reaches maximum level. At this point, you'll notice the kenki is swirling very fast, your character has a faint after-image, and you will have slight life/power regeneration. This opens up the ability to use Tsunagi attacks where you can extend your combos (a+x during any normals), dodge while guarding (b+y while guarding), or most importantly do a combo breaker (c+z while getting hit 2 or more times). If you use any hyper or tsunagi attacks, the kenki resets and you will have to "refill" it through counters/taunts/etc. Hmm Soujiro's AI should only be limited to looping that combo twice (like human). Please let me know if you can imitate it by repeating this combo lp-> lk -> mp -> hp -> QCF+any punch -> mp -> hp -> QCF+any punch. Thanks man!

  14. He was the first main villain to bring out the Battousai in the 1st season. He had the Shin No Ippo that would freeze opponents with his kenki via his eyes.
  15. Great news to all Jinei fans! A fan by the name of Karasu Arejandro wanted to contribute to the project and so now I found a great spriter for Jinei. Here is a sample. At the moment, he is working on basic sprites like idle, movement, and get-hits. There is no time line as of now since I am still busy with Shinsen Saito and Shishio. Although, there is a chance that I will work on Jinei before Misao in the future. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
