Cool. I'm trying to update this with a lot of new stuff to make it worth the download. I hate to make updates with only a few add on improvements. This one restructures some basic attacks to behave differently and has many more tweaks and changes, including new content. A class 5 seizure warning is in order to LOL. ok. I added a air kick combo, as goku kicks his opponent into the air (while in the air), goku moves very fast above his opponent to deliver and knock down with club attack. A classic DBZ combo seen many times. Almost like Volleyball. I might redo the air kick with the new extreme butoden sprites for a smoother delivery. The martial masters base has its limitations.

I remember this wip, you have been trying to do this one for years now!!! I was sure it was cancelled. Well the new base looks great. Very fitting for her TV appearance, it's much closer to how she looks. I'd like to use her in soul calibur mugen XD

Thx. Will do. Also I have a change of plans, after playing around with more ideas, I decided to ditch the original move in place of two new hypers/supers, one will be the finisher Goku used in movie 12. Where Goku squashes Janemba. The other will be a golden ozarru blast out the mouth, Full view style. Lastly, I'll be looking for one last regular special or maneuver, so I'll be researching for it for the next few months. I'll be watching all of DB-Z-GT!!! Then that'll be all and then the release.

In case you missed it, MugenMundo™ is working on a conversion of the same 3ds game! This is a preview of his project. So far, he has quite a lot of characters!!! There's also a preview of Piccolo at the end of this video preview!

The colors are ripped from the anime! @Cayne, agreed! It just shows how much of amateurs we really were in trying to draw this stuff ourselves. Again, the paid pros made us artists look bad :P LOL But I'm happy anyway just to finally see some high quality DBZ in mugen, and it's a wonderful resource to, this is just the beginning, maybe some will try to complete the strikers like mugen author, Gladiacloud, who has made strikers into full blown mugen characters with complete sprite sheets, such as his Capcom conversions. I hope Nintendo does a sequel like the snes series! They just might to with the new DBZ anime to fuel it!

LOL & thx. :) Okay so I was playing against Broli EB and I just love his shield. I remember Goku had a similar shield in the anime as Frieza was powering up, Goku's aura shattered and split off into little bits and as it landed the bits exploded everywhere they landed. So I'm thinking after Goku uses his Aura attack, I can make it stay on while he continues his fight and when he gets hit or blasted, it'll disappear, maybe I can have it coded like Super Armor? I've experimented with the aura on the whole time and it wasn't too bad, well this can give it a little more of the anime feeling, or at least the DBZ Legends for PSX feel. .....This Goku is starting to get heavy with DBZ, maybe I'll end up adding the solar flare, image splitting combos, nimbus power pole, piccolo striker, reverse blast punch, Ozarru transform, and instant transmission kameha. :S

I should note that the blood occurs lightning fast, so you will indeed still be able to see every frame. The timing of the attacks are also slower now so you won't miss anything at all anymore. New gut punch, the attack starts by Goku teleporting behind his opponent, as his opponent turns in surprise, he punches that sweet gut for that ultra satisfaction of making your opponent fall in utter defeat. This attack is also rich in sounds and fxs. There is a bright spark, as well as blood coming out of the mouth area for the opponent, as well as a bg flash and lots of shaking for added impact. It's a nice filler until you get to the super kaio-kan punch. The attack is a grab only move. It happens in place of a throw. The next attack will be a completion of Goku's air kick. Goku will kick his opponent into the air and will appear above his opponent in a flash to deliver a doubled handed knock down punch like in the animes and DBZ Legends for PSX. This will be a normal attack. As an added note, the normal attacks have been enhanced with variations in affect. Some attacks will send your opponent flying in a unique direction with a few fxs. Lastly, the spirit bomb technique now has an effect on startup.

You should do Future Gohan, or at least a mode for him. He's so much cooler than this one, but very similar though... :P

Why am I being singled out here, I wasn't the only one who said that. SPRI YAR ZON said, "19. Most girls. (Other examples: Schoolgirls, princessess, faries, etc......)" Is it sexist to say that women are weaker against men? The fact is that men are physically stronger, that's common sense, it's also a fact. I'm not hating on ladies but to say they can defeat a guy is just silly. :P

In your character's folder, look for a .cns file, there may be more than one, look for hyper/supers, typically they are labled as state 3000 or higher Look for the explode code, similar to this ;background splash screen effect [State 3000, splash] type = Explod trigger1 = time = 1 anim = 3000 ID = 3000 pos = 0,0;floor(ifelse(Target(0), pos X <= 0, 135, 185) + target(0), pos x), floor(target(0), screenpos y - 50) postype = back ;bindtime = 999 removetime = 150 supermove = 150 pausemovetime = 150 sprpriority = -9999 ownpal = 1 hitcountpersist = 1 facing = 1;ifelse(Target, Pos X >= 0,1,-1) scale = 1.2,1.2 Play around with these numbers and see what they do, check the mugen docs for a description of what they can do. Go to the .air file in fighter factory and see what number is that green splash screen and use find function in the cns file to locate the code.

I agree with Luis, first time I've ever seen a post like this that shared my opinion. +1 Things I like ..... 1.Hard A.I. (A challenging fight is a fun fight) 2.Extra Sounds detailing (It makes a big difference in a creation's fighting experience) 3.Extra FXs detailing (Little extra detail like dashing sparks enhance the fighting experience) 4.Creativity (Doing things in new alternative ways that enhance the experience or improve the execution) 5.Unique Sprites (Something new rather than ripped) Things I don't like...... 1.Non-Backwards compatible (New mugen engines don't work on older computers) 2.Clone characters (Palette swaps with identical moves, re-released versions of the same character by different authors) 3.Comment removed by Moderator (We dont tolerate hate speech here ~Ricepigeon) Can we at least know what it was about Ricepigeon 4.Sex/Porn (Isn't this supposed to be a fighting engine?) 5.Non-matching FXs (Capcom styled characters using SNK styled sparks) -
Reuse the same explode but set its position a little further to the right so it continues seamlessly next to the first one while they play simultaneously. Try pos = 300, 0 or you could use scale = 4, 1 But this will distort the quality.

Is air dashing infinitely a problem for a dbz character? Seems like he should be allowed to do that imo.

I made more blood coming out during a super attack. I'm trying blood for normal sparks because it really hasn't been done yet as a normal reaction to fighting dbz characters. I know the uncensored anime had a lot. If after the release it doesn't end up going well then I'll consider ditching it for traditional mugen flash.

Damn that's some awesome coding right there. The sprites alone are perfect but the coding is very reminiscent of the actual game, which is perfect or better by any mugen standards to date. I can no longer pass up a sweet character like this. THE BEST!!!

I don't mind it at all. I deserve it for many other reasons. Thanks for sticking up for me but it's okay, I'm used to it. Anyway, Back to work, This is the 4th hyper/super, I based it on an energy field used in conjunction with a tackle, based on these various scenes. I don't believe Goku has ever done this attack, however. So this will be an original move, it's designed to work like Pikkons, But it' going to look like Gregory. The attack will behave like Frieza's counter assault, but rather than a counter, it'll be a direct attack like Gohan's attack on Radditz. This will be a multi-hit rush. So it's a nice new move and fun finale. I might end it Nappa style?

There was a list somewhere of what ladies like about a guy. I remember some stuff, maybe this can help. Ladies like guys with a scars, very appealing to them, they also like guys who tilt their heads back (Don't do it too much!!!) something about appearing taller or confident with that one? Also ladies like guys who are nice to their moms. A lot of women like guys with good cars, not cheap and old or super expensive, but good. They also prefer guys with at least 2 credit cards, no more and no less. They don't like cheap but they also don't like overly sleazy. Weird info there but apparently that's what women are into. A sense of humor is also good but make sure it's tasteful, not offensive or rude and again don't overdo it. Also if women play with their hair or show their palms a lot, it means they like you according to studies. So take it easy after that. Simple hygiene is important to.
