The gal looks similar to the characters in Neptunia. Other than that, the guy's sprite look pretty decent.

At first glance, this looks like an edit of Seth Zankuten/Titan Goku/Kal-Elvis' Superboy. The head is definitely a direct copy, with only the beard added:

To be fair, I don't know whether Superboy is himself based on another character (though I wouldn't be surprised to learn he is), so they could both just be drawing from the same base.

I'll have to give this a try later. Right now... shopping! WHEE!
