I think why he may be feeling this way is because of the way people receive his creations. They tend to be flashy, full of memes, and rather cheap at times, and a lot of the more recent feedback people tend to give him is mostly derogatory due to the way he has approached feedback in the past.

 

I really wouldn't encourage him to leave or even celebrate it. I don't want to make him feel worse, regardless of if he actually improves or not.
