How do I add Char Slots?

I'm relatively new to Mugen and have been absolutely intrigued by it but unfortunately I can't add more slots to my 1.0 game. Can anyone help? (I'd like to add over 100)

1. There's a folder called "mugen1" inside the "data" folder, open it and you will find this "system.def" file

 

2. Open it with notepad and find this line with crtl+f: [Select Info]

If you're using the default screenpack/motif that comes with 1.0, then you'll almost certainly need to shrink and realign the slots along with what Ryoucchi said if you want all 100 slots to be on-screen.

Every time I try this it doesn't work. How would I realign the slots and shrink them? I try playing around with it but nothing ever happens./

Are you using the default mugen interface?

Make sure you're editing the correct system.def. Don't use the one that's directly inside the data folder; instead, use the one that's in data/mugen1.
