SeSsHoMaGoKu23 Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Whats one of the things you notice when you buy or look at the sequel of a game, new moves being added right? Now I know there some smart asses out there that would say other things that is not what I had in mind haha but that's ok. But anyway there's certain new moves for a character that does not match up with particular characters, for example to me I don't see Ken as the ground roll type, or Guile doing a rip off version of the Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku. But this particular topic is about what specific moves does not fit a character right. You live by the Tetsaiga..... you die by hand..... ~ Lord Sesshomaru

PlasmoidThunder Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 That overpowered Rayquaza character with Ryu's Shinku Hadoken. There are a lot of characters with the Shinku Hadouken graphic for a giant beam of sorts. It's just an overused graphic. PlasmoidThunder Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I'll say it now before Laharl does: Any attack WlanmaniaX or BeanFan112 add to their characters. Project LG said: God knows you shit out characters like a friggin' gumball machine.
GuyZero32k4 Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 I always wondered why doesn't Kenshiro have a "Zan Restu Ken" type move for a regular special move.
miru Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 The sheer overuse of QCF and QCB. We need more distinct movesets! Sash Lilac: Progress 10% done (SFF compiled).
DarkWolf13 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Many people find QCF & QCB the easiest to pull off a super... maybe they don't like the CvS, KoF commands in order to pull a super... to be honest... I didn't like the commands to pull supers in CvS. Seeing Akuma's big finisher on others that are NOT him.

They probably dislike the more complex commands of those games, let alone those from SSF2T, the Darkstalkers games, and Fatal Fury, which tended to be fairly unqique. It's all about the MVC motions. This is probably because they're trying to ape Judgespear, but only got the gist of his work at face value. If Homer had been some lousy character with MS-Paint sprites and repetitive moves, he would have been forgotten. Sash Lilac: Progress 10% done (SFF compiled).
The Unexpected Visitor Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 The hell has Homer have to do with anything here. He had pretty much a moveset variety consisting of QC, HC, DP, hell even the SGS motion. QCF and QCB are a staple move command, they are generally the easiest people find out, because they are mostly intuitive, it's the first thing most people try.
Zemilia Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Speaking of SGS, Gouken doing one. Despite the fact that he refused to learn it due to its "murderous" nature.
