Sorry, I should've caught that. I got that plugin thinking it might add an extra layer of security to the imgur button, without considering the fact that we would actually need to have SSL ourselves for it to matter anyway. @White Ranger would you mind giving it a shot now and seeing if it now and seeing if it works for you?
-
It was the SSL Image Proxy application. I either did not have the requirements met that I thought I did, or it's not supported by our current IPB build. It wasn't the editor (this time) or the plugins (yet, lol), just that one app, and it's pretty easy to see why now. Here's the apps description from the website: About This File This application makes it easier to run your site as full https and helps solve the problem of user posted http images. Displaying http images on a https page causes mixed content browser warnings and is a common reason why forums can't easily run as full https. When a user posts a link to an external image the application does the following: - Checks if the user is posting a http url. If so it checks if there is a https version available (most popular image sharing sites have https support). If a https version is available then the image is simply rewritten to use the https version. This results in no proxy being used at all and many people could run this plugin in that mode completely if they didn't want to use the proxy component. This is the option that the IPS solution really misses. - (Optional) If there is no https version available then the image is rewritten to point at a local script. This script gets the image in the background and serves it via https thus removing any mixed content warnings.

Think I might have the culprit nailed down. Try it now.

Ok, great, it's definitely one of the apps or plugins then. I'm going to try enabling all the apps and leaving the plugins off. Can you try editing it now? @White Ranger thanks bud. We're going to narrow it down now, it's either one of the applications or plugins. Just going to see which now by disabling plugins, leaving apps on and seeing if it's possible to edit.
-
hmm... ok if it was happening before the site went down, I can't really see how it would be a button or plugin. None the less, I'm going to try disabling all the plugins and the apps until I hear back from you guys about whether or not it worked. If that doesn't do it, we'll try the same thing with the editor. ...ok all plugins and apps disabled.

If I remember right, GarchompMatt was having this issue before the problem train hit us. It's actually the reason I initially adjusted the archiving settings. And that was before any new buttons or plugins were installed. I'm still able to edit those threads with no problem (that touhou collection is massive tho), so maybe there's a memory limit in the browser somewhere? If it were a size limit per post, I can't see why I would be able to edit them and not Ryon. We're both admins. I'll check the admin cp anyway and see if I can find an upper limit. IF we end up needing to overcome the post size, we could make a new Touhou thread (for example) with one or 2 top posts, and then move the old thread into that thread, copy just the characters into the top post, and use the 2 new additional posts to house stages and screen packs? Pretty sure that would erase the insane number of views, but then again I might be able to edit that manually to restore that as well.

I repaired and optimized all our databases last night, so I know it's not that. I could try stripping the editor down even more to the default buttons only and see if that works? Doesn't seem like it's going to do it honestly. I really want to get this thing fixed but, I'm starting to run low on ideas. * Attempts to summon @Алексей * Hello good sir, do you happen to have any ideas as to what might be causing this? I'm able to edit those threads no problem from my comp, but Ryoucci, White Ranger and GarchompMatt are all getting the same issue...
-
I just tried rebuilding the toolbar. Took out a couple buttons that might've been lagging it. Can you guys tell me if it works for you now?
-
I'm not sure what's happening, exactly. I'm able to edit that collection, it loads pretty quickly, the editors not to slow for me on the lower parts (though it is a little slow over all for my taste, might have to see about trimming it some). Did both of you guys try clearing the cookies and cache? Because I've added quite a few plugins and buttons over the last couple days...
-
@Big Green alright good sir, welcome aboard! Ryoucci said he'd be happy to have you as a helping hand in the collections thread, sooo looks like we have a new Vault Keeper! Ryoucci's pretty much going to be your go to guy / the person you'll be answering to mainly as of now, if that's ok with you? (I'll get the stylized title text added under your name soon, I just gotta figure out some details about that font.) @White Ranger Are you still getting the issue? At this point double clicking on an embed image should produce a dialogue box like this: As far as the slow loading stuff, did you try clearing the cache and cookies?
-
I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd certainly be happy to have you on board. The top post is updated with better descriptions of the mod positions we're looking for, but if you'd rather work on the collections board, I can see if Ryoucci wouldn't mind you answering to him? Either way, check out the top post tho and let me know what you're interested in :) @White Ranger If it doesn't automatically embed when you paste the link, try the Insert Media Embedded button:

Touhou RP: GR tournament 1 (Completed, Replays inside)
RobotMonkeyHead replied to RicePigeon's topic in [ MUGEN LOUNGE ]
Hell yes I think it's a great idea. A sort of a dry run for the seasonal tournies. I mean we could use it to get the word out, seeing as the official tourneys are in the pipeline for the end of the year. Would you mind maybe just making it a little more apparent that it's a harbinger of MFFA's upcoming Seasonal Ikemen Tournaments? It could be an excellent chance to get the thing out there, especially if you plan on doing this on multiple forums. I know both Ryon and myself have wanted to see online tourneys for years too. I'd cleared it with Dimitri to run them over at Tier-1 about a year and half ago, and before that I'd mentioned them either here or on mfg, I don't remember. And any time they're brought up, the idea's been very well received, so my guess is it's going to do pretty good. Or I hope so at least. Otherwise all the Ikemen learning from Fclass97's tutorials I've been doing for the official tourny is going to be a total waste, lol But yes excellent idea, and good luck to you! Anything I can do to help, don't hesitate. -
Oh no you dit-int! (Nice malovka!)

Normally you would want to ask that question in the forums help section. Here's a link to that. Good luck with your stage. -

Yes, so I see. This is my first time adminning, and the first time I had to deal with anything like that, let alone four things at once. It's alright tho, I'll get better at as time goes on I'm sure. Taking another break from the mugens? -
Ice looks tight. I would maybe blend the bottoms of the feet into the puddle a little more, but that's about it. The walking back looks decent too, I'd mess with the sprite alignment some, try to keep his lower waist and or feet in about the same position. Nice progress tho!
