Cool idea...but floor clashes. Maybe adjust the color levels in Photoshop or whatever to give the floor a purple tint. Then maybe a dark tint in layer 1.

Interesting...I see your point of view. But also agree with Ryon. I think brightening the back and adding a dark(blue?) Tint to layer 1 would produce an effective alternative.
