White Ranger

1. "Another Kyo by Jin" This edit retains the usual moveset, specials and hypers as the original. He was most likely made to be just a simple clone of Kyo. He does have a glitch were when the round starts he leaves behind a clone of himself. It doesn't attack, but will absorb blows from the opponent, as of such it can be annoying. I'd pass on this one, but try him if you like.

 

2. "Kyo-0 by sorenari"  A fusion of both Kyo-1, and Kyo-2, and the "prototype" of all Kyo clones. He has the specials of both Kyo-1, Kyo-2, and the edit, Kyo Clone 10 (see below). His AI is pretty tough, and he fills the roll of a midboss quite well. Good for any roster.

 

3. "Another Kyo-0 by sorenari" I'm not sure what the difference is between this edit and Kyo-0, other then having a slightly darker color scheme. However FF3 did reveal a Touhou Project character within his sprites, though I've never seen it used in game. If anyone finds more differences, let me know.

 

4. "Kyo-4 by BAL" This Kyo is mostly an earth user. His specials consist of throwing rocks, a version of Mukai's Rising Pillar, and stretching his arms. Hypers include a rapid puch flurry, a ball and chain, and changing into a giant saw blade. A little cheap, but well suited for a boss fight.

 

 

5. Kyo-5 by H.A.L.L."  This Kyo retains the moveset from Kyo-0. Unfortunately I can't seem to find any difference, other then the color scheme, if anyone finds more let me know. Still suitable for a boss non the less.

 

6. "Kyo-12 by H.A.L.L"  Once again, very similar to the original Kyo, but this one has some kind of gauge in addition to the normal power gauge. It fills up each time he lands a successful hit on the foe. Unfortunately, I have no idea what it's for. Decent overall.

 

7. "Kyo-13 by BAL" This Kyo still has the fire based attacks, but also has quite a few extra moves as well. New specials include a flame wheel projectile that acts like a boomerang, a flying fire kick, and teleporting to name a few. Hypers include fire breath, waves of flame, and slamming his foe into the ground from the sky. He is a little cheap, but good for the roster.

 

8. "Clone Kyo by Ikaruga" This edit is pretty much just a clone of Kyo himself, hence the name. He has the same specials, and hypers as the original too. Uses a gauge in addition to the usual power gauge. A good character in all.

 

9. "NM_K by Natsumega" This edit is also similar to the original, but now has a few new hypers. These include unleashing a series of punches and kicks, then delivering a huge punch that knocks the foe back, a single punch that explodes on impact, and a fire bird to name a few. Well suited for the roster.

 

10. "Kyo Clone-10 by David Demianoff" A boss from the fan-made game King of Fighters Memorial. This edit retains the usual fire based attacks, but also has a version of Mukai's Netherworld Agony. His damage output is also very high, and the AI is quite merciless. Well suited for the roster none the less.

11. "Inferior Kyo by chin-ya" This edit is almost unchanged from the original, from what it seems his basic moves are slightly weaker then the norm. The only hyper I've seen is a punch that knocks the foe backwards. I don't how to rate this one, so just give him a try if you want.

 

12. "Darkness Kyo by Glasses" This Kyo is pure shadow, he has some pretty awesome affects, and his health is slightly higher then the norm. He has the same specials as the original, but feature some shadowy explosions for effects, hypers include an uppercut that sends the opponent flying, and a huge flaming, shadowy, explosion to name a couple. He isn't too cheap, so he fits the roll as a boss very well.

 

13. "Orochi Kyo-C by 973supershadow & Manish Sen" This is a take on Kyo as if he was infused with Orochi's powers. He plays pretty much the same as the original, but his flames have been edited to match that of Orochi. Has a unique hyper that involves a huge energy pillar. He has a bit more health then the norm, and his AI is brutal, so he makes a good boss.

 

14. "Element Kyo by OPIRUS" This Kyo is based off Element, a famous/infamous boss from the fan-made game The King of Fighters Memorial LV2, however his cheapness far exceeds that of the actual Element. His only special from what I've found is a tornado like projectile. He has many hypers, these include a rapid punch that ends with an explosion, trapping his foe in a whirlwind, and causing a series of tremors to name off some. Download if you like cheap edits.

 

15. "Kyo-3 by Jin Kazama"  Another Kyo almost unchanged from the original, he retains the usual fire based attacks, and now has Orochi's Lightning Pillar, and Marukare. As you can see from the image pictured, he suffers from a minor bug were he switches between palettes while idle. A good character regardless.

 

16. "Clone Blood Kyo by HELL" Another cheap edit, he retains the usual moves as the original, but his flames have been edited to resemble blood. He is AI only, and very fast, able to perform many specials and hypers in quick succession. 

 

17. "Kusanagi-LV3 by LASH" This edit retains the usual fire based attacks, he also features a few new specials, such as a flame pillar, and also has Another Iori, and Chizuru as strikers. Well suited for any roster.

 

18. "Kyo Mercenary by jin, SHIN YAGAMI, & ½ðÉßÌì×ð"  A cheap Kyo edit that is a fusion of Sachiel (another Kyo edit) and himself. He has both fire and electric based attacks, hypers include a ground pound that causes a lightning strike, and a mix of both a series of punches and flame pillars to name a few. Has Omega Rugal, Zero, Goenitz, and Orochi as strikers. Download if you like cheap edits.

 

19. "G_AD_KYO by Ahuron, & Ð¡Âú"  This edit is very similar to Kusanagi-LV3, having the same specials and hypers, all his color pallete's are custom. If anybody finds something I missed let me know.

 

20. "NESTS Kyo-KOFM by the don" This edit has gameplay from the fan-made game The King of Fighters Memorial. He retains the usual fire based attacks, but has been given numerous full-screen hypers consisting of flames, eruptions, and a fire bird. Makes for a good boss battle.

21. "AD Kyo-911 by ahuron" This edit retains the usual fire based attacks, but has a few additional  hypers as well. These include an explosion causing ground pound, and calling in Goenitz, and Goeniko to name a couple. Well suited for any roster.

 

22. "Clone Kyo-12X by Mech Kyo" This edit is very similar to Kyo Clone-10 in terms of basic moves and specials. The only difference from what I've seen is that he no longer has Mukai's Netherworld Agony. Still suitable for the roster though.

 

23. "Incredible Power Kyo by ahuron" This edit is also similar to Kusanagi-LV3, having the same specials and hypers, he also has Iori Yagami as a striker in addition to still having Another Iori and Chizuru Kagura as well. Good for any roster.

 

24. "Izanagi by 1%"  This edit is almost unchanged from the original. He uses CAPCOM styled sprites, and features new specials and hypers.  One special includes sending a fireball across the ground for a brief moment then turning it into a projectile. Hypers include enhanced versions of his specials, and a rising flaming uppercut that slightly resembles a shoryuken. Well suited for the roster.

 

25. "Kusanagi-NEST by Iori Kyo Yabuki" This Kusanagi is almost unchanged from the original, he retains the usual fire based attacks. Most of his hypers are brawler based each using a series of punches and kicks, but one features him delivering a punch so strong it covers the entire stage in flames. A good character in all.

 

26. "Kyo_MI by Ikaruga"  This edit is Kyo in his attire from The King of Fighters: Maximum Impact. He retains all his specials and hypers. Some of his animations have glitched palettes, but this is minor at best. A good character overall.

 

27. "Kyo-1 911 by David Demianoff" This edit retains the usual fire based attacks, but with a few added hypers, such as Mukai's Netherworld Agony, the use of a fire bird, and a flaming tiger projectile. A good character in all.

 

28. "NESTS Kyo.13 by BAL" This edit has the usual moveset, but features a bunch of extras.These include a flurry of punches, transforming into a fire beast, and the use of a stone creature to name off some. Has Kyo-1, Kyo-2, and numerous other Kyo's as strikers. Well suited for any roster.

 

29. "Orochi Kyo Clone SP by Vergil Kusanagi" This edit retains the fire based powers of the original. Gameplay wise he feels like a fusion between Darkness Kyo, with a hint of AD Kyo-911 (at least to me). I can't seem to find anything new beyond that. If anyone does please let me know.

 

30. "Orochi Kyo Nests by OPIRUS" Another Orochi edit of Kyo. His moveset is very similar to the original, but features purple flames instead of the norm. His AI is brutal, so he is great for a boss battle.

31. "Silvery Kyo by 1+1=2"  This edit is just Kyo with a silverish gray pallete, even his flames are silver, yet they also have a metallic feel as well. He is just as balanced as the original, and suited for any roster.

 

32. "Super Kusanagi by LASH" This edit is similar to Kusanagi LV3, but also features a rapid multi-punch special, as well as Zero's White Hole. He has many full-screen hypers, such as Marukare. Has Another Iori and Chizuru Kagura as strikers. A good character in all.

 

33. "Clone Kyo_MI by Zelgadis & HELL"  A clone of Kyo in his attire from Maximum Impact, and as of such he is very similar to Kyo_MI. He does have a few additional attacks like Mukai's Netherworld Agony, and a pretty good AI. a good character in all.

 

34. "Kyo of Flame by OPIRUS"  Also known as Flame Kyo, this edit is also similar to the original. In battle he has a flaming aura, it alone causes no damage on contact, his basic moveset feature small bursts of flames with each attack. Great for any roster.

 

35. "Kyo-233 by Kotori" Another edit similar to the original, his flames are blue instead of the usual, he retains his usual specials, and also has Mukai's Netherworld Agony as a hyper. Well suited for any roster.

 

36. "Master Kyo by OPIRUS" This edit is almost unchanged from the original, rhe only thing new I could find was a hyper involving a huge explosion. Some of his animations have a strange glitch where he shifts between his appearance pictured above to his appearance from KoF 2003, but it's minor at best. A decent character in all.

 

37. "Orochi Kusanagi(White Flames) by jor8a" A cheap edit of Kusanagi, he retains his usual moveset, specials as well as hypers. New moves include Mizuchi's Hara, a huge laser, and many full-screen hypers. Download if you like cheap edits.

 

38. "Super Mech Kyo by MechKyo" Despite the name their doesn't seem to be anything mechanical about this edit. He retains the usual moveset, specials, and hypers in all. Compatible with Midnight Bliss. Has Mukai's Netherworld Agony. A decent character in all.

 

39. "Super Kyo by jor8a" This Kyo is based off the Super Saiyens from the popular anime Dragon Ball. He retains his usual moveset, specials and hypers. He has one unique hyper where he fires a powerful Kamehameha wave that's a one-hit KO. Has Iori Yagami, Chizuru Kagura, Shingo Yabuki, Kusanagi, Saisyu Kusanagi, Benimaru Nikaido, Goro Daimon, and Terry Bogard as strikers. Compatible with Midnight Bliss. Download if you like Dragon Ball.

 

40. "White Flames Kyo by The Passing & Tin Tin" For the most part this Kyo has been edited to have white flames, hence the name. He retains the usual moveset, and also has Marukare as a hyper, as well a few full-screen hypers as well. Well suited for any roster.

41. "K-AD Kyo by Crow" Another edit of Kyo from Maximum Impact. He retains the usual moveset, and now features quite a few full-screen hypers, and has Chizuru Kagura, Kusanagi, and two versions of Iori as strikers. Well suited for any roster.

 

42. "Another Kusanagi by Quiroga Alexis" This edit is pretty much the same as the original Kusanagi, but sports Kyo's Kof 2003 outfit with a custom palette. He was most likely made as a simple clone of Kusanagi himself, and as such he is just a great as the original.

 

43. "Evil Kusanagi by KamranBernstein" This edit of Kusanagi is pretty much the same as the original, as I'm unable to find anything new that has been added, if any does let me know. Features Dreamcancels and Supercancels.

 

44. "Honki Kyo by kuroihato" This edit retains the usual moveset, and also features a flame pillar hyper. Has Iori Yagami, Athena Asamiya, and Kusanagi as strikers. A good character in all.

 

45. "Another Honki Kyo by kuroihato" This edit is similar to Honki Kyo, but has several full-screen hypers, and the strikers have also been removed. Still a good character though.

 

46. "Kusanagi-G by Ironmugen" Referred by some as Grappler Kusanagi. As the name suggests the Kusanagi has been made into a grappler, he retains the usual moveset, but all his specials and hypers involve him grabbing the opponent and causing explosions, and flame pillars. Download if you enjoy grappler type characters.

 

47. "Shinkouen No Kusanagi by Ainotenshi" I'm not sure what changes have been done to this edit of Kusanagi. So far all I've been able to find is that his flames have been changed to purpleish, red in color. If anyone finds more let me know.

 

48. "A-Kusanagi by Mr. Karate" This edit of Kusanagi retains the usual moveset, and besides having a punch that covers the screen in flames as a hyper, that's about it. Still worth a try however.

 

49. "Tuzanagi by David Demianoff" This Kusanagi edit has been given a metallic palette, and retains the usual moveset. Unfortunately that's all I've been able to find, if anyone finds more please let me know.

 

50. "Yasanagi by LASH"  This edit is a fusion of Kyo and Iori, and as such possesses specials from both characters. He also has Goenitz's whirlwind, and Orochi's Lightning Pillar as well. I highly recommend this one.

51. "A-Kusanagi by Krizalid 99" A minor edit of A-Kusanagi, he retains the usual moves from the other version, and now has a couple of full-screen hypers. A good character in all.

 

52. "Kusanagi-KOFM(White Flames) by Don" For the most part this edit is similar to the original Kusanagi. He has gameplay from the fan-made game The King of Fighters Memorial, and as the name implies his flames are white instead of the usual. Has many full-screen hypers, and one were he transforms into a flame beast. His AI is pretty tough, so he fills the roll for a mid-boss really well.

 

53. "Kusanagi-SP(XI) by YaR" This Kusanagi is similar to the original, but has Kyo's attire from KoF 2003, and has KoF XI styled gameplay. Has Chargecancels, and Supercancels. Well suited for any roster.

 

54. "Orochi Kyo by Unknown Author" This version of Orochi Kyo is very similar to the original Kyo, only his flames have been edited to resemble that of Orochi Chris's. Has Iori Yagami as a striker. Well suited for any roster.

 

55. "Kusanagi-KOFM by jin" This Kusanagi is completely unchanged from the original, but now features gameplay from the fan-made game KoF Memorial. Has Chargecancels, and Supercancels. His AI is pretty tough, so he makes for a good boss.

 

56. "A-Kyo by Glasses" This Kyo retains the moves from the original, but features numerous full-screen hypers including Mukai's Netherworld Agony. Has Iori Yagami, Kim Kapahwn, K', Nameless, and Yukino Ozawa as strikers. Well suited for any roster.

 

57. "First Kyo by Tiadman & FirstChoco"  Another edit almost unchanged from the original, he retains the usual moveset, and like most edits, has many full-screen hypers, Marukare being one of them. Has Sachiel as a striker. Great for any roster.

 

58. "Kyo-5 by Glasses" An update of H.A.L.L.'s  Kyo-5. Unfortunately I can't seem to find anything new that has been added/edited. If anyone does so please let me know. He retains all the specials and hypers as the other version.

 

59. "Orochi Kyo by hirohiro & 119Way" This Orochi Kyo is very similar to the unknown author's version, complete with specials, hypers, and the Iori Yagami striker. Needless to say I can't seem to find anything else, if anyone does let me know.

 

60. "Kyo-KOFT by jin & 金蛇天尊" I'm not sure what kind of gameplay this Kyo uses. He has the basic moves, specials, and hypers as the original, and has several new hypers, most of which are full-screen. Other hypers include a meteor from the sky, and a tiger shaped fireball to name a couple. Well suited for any roster.

61. "A_Kyo by garyu"  This Kyp is completely unchanged from the original. The A stands for Another, he retains all the specials, and hypers as the original. He is more or less just a simple clone of Kyo himself, as I'm unable to find anything new that has been added. He is still decent overall.

 

62. "Kyo MI by ahuron" Another edit of Kyo sporting his attire from Maximum Impact. He retains all his specials, and hypers like most edits. The only thing extra he has is Iori and Chizuru as strikers. A good character in all.

 

63. "Classic Kyo by Adriano" As the name suggests, this is Kyo in his classic attire. Strangely he has no new specials or hypers whatsoever. Unless your just trying to get all the Kyos I'd skip this one.

 

64. "Clone Kyo by jin" Yet another simple clone of Kyo that retains all the specials and hypers as the original. Nothing new has been added. Decent overall.

 

65. "CX-Kyo by Unknown Author" Jin is the original creator of the character, but who ever edited it remains a mystery. Despite the image pictured this isn't his stance in game, he actually has a stance similar to Joe Higashi, but it doesn't show up in FF3. He has the basic moves, specials, ans hypers as the original. He also has Goenitz's whirlwind special. Despite the stance he doesn't have any of Joe's attacks or specials. Even so, he is a unique character and well suited for any roster.

 

66. "Element Kyo-KOFM by kosuke youhei" Despite the name, this version of Element Kyo does not have KoF Memorial styled gameplay. Unfortunately I can't find no differences between this and OPIRUS's version. If anyone does let me know.

 

67. "Evil Kyo by Mouser & Byakko" This edit uses CAPCOM styled sprites. He retains all his basic moves, specials, and hypers. The effects of his specials are pretty cool as well. A good character overall.

 

68. "EX-Kyo by jin" This Kyo is completely unchanged from the original, he retains all his specials, and hypers. His AI brutal, so he is best suited for a boss battle.

 

69. "Inferior Kyo by jin, mizore, & fylab" A minor edit of Chin-ya's Inferior Kyo, giving him chargecancels, and supercancels. other then that he is pretty much the same.

 

70. "Orochi Kyo by ahuron" Another Orochi based edit. This edit retains the usual moveset, but also has a fire version of Orochi's lightning pillar, and a mult-punch hyper. Compatible with Midnight Bliss. Well suited fro any roster.

71. "Ku Cao by Ye Zhi Yu"  A cheap edit of Kusanagi, he retains the usual moveset like most edit, but has many full-screen hypers, and also has Another Iori, Chizuru as a striker. He is capable of performing one hyper then another about half way through before the first even finishes, usually resulting in completely locking down the opponent and giving them no time to retreat. Download if you like cheap edits.

 

72. "Kusanagi by jin" This Kusanagi retains all the usual movest, specials and hypers in all. I wish I could say more, but I can't seem to find anything new that has been added. If anyone does let me know.

 

73. "Kyo Kusanagi by Adriano" This Kyo plays like his classic version, but as you can see, has his appearance from KoF 2003. He retains the usual moveset, along with his specials, and hypers. A good character in all.

 

74. "Kyo Kusanagi by Slayer" This Kyo is mostly unchanged from the original, but has a couple new moves added. These include a flame wheel, and Rock Howard as a striker. A good character in all.

 

75. "Kyo Clone-10 by Jjong1917" This version of Kyo Clone-10 is identical to David Demanioff's version, having the same specials and hypers. Other then the different palette I can't find anything else new. If anyone does let me know.

 

76. "Kyo Clone-10 EX by David Demanioff" This version of Kyo Clone-10 is even more cheaper then the original, even though no new moves have been added. He far surpasses that of a cheap boss character to the point were he can only be defeated by characters like Rare Akuma, or Hastur. Download if you like cheap characters.

 

77. "Clone Kyo KoF XI by ikaruga" An update of ikaruga's Clone Kyo by ikaruga himself. He now has dreamcancels and chargecancels, and has KoF XI styled gameplay. He has both Kyo-1's and Kyo-2's specials, and hypers. A good character in all.

 

 

78. "Kyo Level 100 by adriano" A cheap edit of Kyo. His health is extremely high, and his heavy attacks can knock off nearly half of the opponents health, and almost all his hyper are one-hit KO. He can only be defeated by cheap characters, or characters with a hyper that are a 999 hit combo. Download if you like cheap edits.

 

79. "Kyo Nests by adriano" This edit retains the usual moveset, specials, and hypers. He has a mode select depending on which palette you choose. Has Kyoko, Saisyu Kusanagi, and Another Iori as strikers, A good character in all.

 

80. "Kyo-AKOF by beppu" This Kyo has AKOF styled gameplay. He retains the usual moveset, specials and hypers as the original. No new moves have been added as far as I can tell. A good character in all.

81. "Kyo-AKOF NE by hork" Despite the name this Kyo does not have AKOF styled gameplay, but a completely different gameplay, and yet I have no clue what it is. He retains the usual moves as the original. A good character in all.

 

82. "Kyo-KOFM by Zelgadis" This Kyo comes from the fan-made game KoF Memorial. He has the specials, and hypers as the original, as well one uniqe hyper involving a large cone of fire. His AI is brutal. Well suited for any roster.

 

83. "Kyo-NE by nekohoshi" This edit retains the usual basic moveset, specials, and hypers. He has a unique style of gameplay that I unfortunately don't recognize. He also has a few full-screen hypers as well. He's not too cheap, so give him a try if you want.

 

84. "Orochi Kyo by Kakaroto" This Orochi Kyo is the least strongest in terms of cheapness. He is basically Kyo with the standard moveset, specials and hypers. His flames however have been edited to resemble that of Orochi Chris's. A good character in all.

 

85. "Kyo-Type-M by MIT" This edit for the most part retains the usual specials and hypers as the original. He does have one unique hyper were parries an attack, then disappears to other side of the opponent and damages them with what looks like slashing lights. A good character in all.

 

86. "Kyo-Type-S by Shadow & Plaza24" Similar to Kyo-Type-M, but he now has Iori Yagami, and Chizuru Kagura as strikers. He retains the specials, and hypers as Kyo-Type-M, but now has one that is full-screen. A great character for any roster.

 

87. "Kyo-Type-U by MKJ"  Once again, very similar to Kyo-Type-M, but now has a lot more full-screen hypers, Iori and Chizuru have also been removed. He retains the other specials and hypers as Kyo-Type-M as well. A little cheap, but still worth a try.

 

88. "Kyo Kusanagi-2 by arukari" This edit is almost unchanged from the original. the only difference I could find was a strange looking angel like creature in sprites via FF3. It appears to be gauge of some sort. He retains all the usual specials and hypers. A decent character in all.

 

89. "Kyo-X by jin" This edit retains the usual specials and hypers as the original, but now has Iori Yagami as a striker. Has supercancels and dreamcancels. A good character in all.

 

90. "Kyo_XIII by jin" This Kyo has the usual specials and hypers as the original. What's interesting about this one is that while he uses his sprites from KoF 2003, his gameplay is from KoF XIII. A good character in all.

91. "Kyo Clone-6 by xh" This Kyo is almost unchanged from the original, he retains the usual specials and hypers, as two new hypers both involving fire columns. Has Dreamcancels and Chargecancels.  A decent character overall.

 

92. "Kyo Clone-11 by Kusanagi & 1" This edit is similar to the famous/infamous edit Kyo Clone-10. He retains the specials and hypers as Clone-10, but doesn't seem to have ant particular type of gameplay. Has Mukai's Netherworld Agony, as well two new hypers, one were he grabs his foe and causes an explosion, and another with what looks like a massive fireball, at least that's what it looks like in FF3, if I'm wrong please correct me. Great for a boss fight.

 

93. "Kloth Kyo by trekol" By far the weirdest Kyo edit I've ever seen, his idle stance reminds of the character Uppercut. As you can see he is fusion of all incarnations of Kyo. For the most part he retains the basic attacks, specials, and hypers as the original. His one unique hyper features a close range fire column followed by a flurrry of kicks and punches then finishing with a rising fire spin. He's an odd one for sure, but his AI is pretty tough, so he makes for a fair midboss.

 

94. "Kyo Hellfire by R.B" This Kyo is almost unchanged from the original, he retains the usual moveset, and now has ghostly bluish-white flames, and a full-screen flame column as an added hyper. Has Orochi Iori as a striker. A good character in all.

 

95. "Sho by Hork" I'm not sure who or what this Kyo is based off, he mostly retains the usual specials and hypers as the original. He has some kind of gauge in addition to the normal power gauge. It fills up with japanese symbols over time, and yet I'm not sure what it does. He is a good character overall.

 

96. "Wild by B&M" This is almost unchanged from the original, he has the usual specials and hypers, and his flames have been edited to be yellow, and he also has Marukare as a hyper. A good character in all.

 

97. "Saint Kyo by  天天SY男" This Kyo's moves are based off the characters from the anime Saint Seiya, although they don't appear as strikers, they do make cameos in some of his moves. While he has some of the basic attacks, specials, and hypers, he also has several new specials. These include creating green ghostly images of himself, stretching his arms, the use of a chain, and the ability to knock back the enemy with a force field. While the force field does interrupt their combo, he loses health with each use, so use with caution. New hypers include, a laser, and a multi-punch flurry to name a couple. He ism't too cheap, so I suggest using him as a boss.

 

98. "Light Kyo by Unknown Author" This edit retains the usual fire based moveset, specials and hypers. He is accompanied by a blue light that leaves behind a trail as he moves. Has one new hyper were he sends a trail of explosions across the stage severely damaging the opponent. Well suited for any roster.

 

99. "Night Kyo by Jjong1917"  This edit retains the basic moveset, specials and hypers as the original, but a small portion of his moveset is also taken from Orochi Iori, hence his pose, this also due to the fact that some of Iori's sprites are present as well, but these are few and far between. Great for any roster.

 

100. "God Kyo by Song198601" A cheap edit of Kyo that uses CAPCOM styled sprites. Although he does have the usual specials and hypers he has been given a variety of new specials such as diagonal flame beams, lasers, and fireballs that can be placed as traps to name a few. He has been given a few full-screen hypers including Marukare. Download if you like cheap edits.

101. "Nightmare Kyo by Manish Sen" This Kyo has been given a purple-ish pale palette and a creepy voice that gives off a negative, yet cool feel to it. He retains all the usual specials and hypers as the original, and as such plays pretty much the same as Kyo himself. He still a great character none the less.

 

102. "Orochi Kusanagi X by Jor8a" This Kusanagi has the usual moves as the original, but has been given a few differences, mostly hypers. These include a massive laser, Mukai's Netherworld Agony, Orochi's Marukare, and various other full-screen hypers. His flames have been changed to green. A good character overall.

 

103. "Orochi Kusanagi XX3 by Jor8a" A small update to Orochi Kusanagi X. He retains all his specials and hypers, and now has Mizuchi's Harae as a special. Great overall.

 

104. "TC Kyo by TeleCom" For the most part, this Kyo plays much like the original, having the same specials and hypers. He has Iori Yagami, and Chizuru Kagura as strikers. Features some awesome hit sparks. A good character overall.

 

105. Nests Kusanagi-KOFM by Erick Andree Romero" This Kusanagi has gameplay from the fan-made game KoF Memorial. He sports Kyo's attire from KoF99MB. He retains the usual moves as the original, and has a few new hypers, one involving a massive fire column. His AI is a little brutal, so he is best suited as a midboss.

 

106. No1_Kyo by The KJ" This edit is similar to the original in terms of basic attacks, specials, and hypers. Aside from having one new attack involving a flame with tiger face in it he is pretty much the same. If anyone discovers more let me know.

 

107. "Nazo by K-Z" This Kyo is a water user, however he is missing several sprites, and he turns into Mature when he walks. He also turns into Krizalid during some specials. He has no hypers. I'd pass on this this one.

 

108. "Kyoko by TypeA" Kyoko actually made her debut in The King of Fighters 2000 as a striker for Shingo Yabuki. She is Kyo's biggest fan and enjoys cosplaying him. This edit features all of Kyo's moves includeing his specials and hypers. She is well suited for any roster. Comes with Kyoko Type-C.

 

109. "Kyoko Type-A by Sekirei" This Kyoko is similar to the one mentioned above. I can't seem to find any differences between the two however, other then the fact that this one has two def files. Compatible with Midnight Bliss. Decent overall. Comes with Kyoko Type-C.

 

110. "Kyoko Type-K by Mast-chen" Again, this edit is also similar to the other two edits. She has the same moveset, specials, and hypers as the others as well. Beyond that she is pretty much the same. If anyone finds more differences let me know.

111. "Kyoko by Actarus & Riccochet" This Kyoko plays nothing like the other versions. Her animations are jerky and she has inconsistent hit-boxes, her only special is a pink fireball like projectile. She has no hypers. I'd pass on this one.

 

112. "Kyoko by Adriano" This Kyoko retains the specials, and hypers as the other versions. The additional feature I was able to find was Kusanagi as a striker. A good character in all.

 

113. "Kyoko by 119way" This Kyoko appears to be an edit of Adriano's version. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything new with this one. If anyone does please let me know.

 

114. "Kyoko Type-Y by Yokurei" Once more, this Kyoko is similar to the others, she has purple flames instead of the usual. She has Kyo's usual specials as well as a fire pillar. A good character in all.

 

115. "Kyoko Type-P by Ambasa" This Kyoko retains the moveset as the others as well. One new feature is a full-screen hyper,and her gameplay is unknown to me, but it's pretty balanced compared to the others. I highly recommend this one.

 

116. "Nests Kyo XIII by 973supershadow" An edit of the don's Nests Kyo, giving him gameplay from KoF XIII. He retains his usual specials and hypers. Still good none the less.

 

117. "Orochi Kyo_KOFM by Jin" This Kyo retains the usual moveset like most edits. His flames have been edited to resemvle that of Orochi Chris's. He has KoF Memorial styled gameplay. Has Dreamcancels, an Chargecancels. A good character in all.

 

 

118. "Orochi Kyo(2015 Remake) by OPIRUS, The Passing, & Manish Sen" This version of Orochi Kyo retains the usual moves from the original, specials and hypers included. He also has a variety of full-screen hypers, and a tough AI. Good for a midboss.

 

119. "Orochi Kyo_MA by MichaelArmaros" Similar to the KOFM version, but much more brutal, the Dreamcancels and Chargecancels have also been removed. Has a variety of full-screen hypers. Makes for a good boss.

 

120. "Two Flames Kyo by Y&M" This Kyo retains the the exact same moves as the original. The only new feature is that some of his flames has have been edited to look like that of Iori's. This can been seen during his intro. Still suitable for roster.  

121. "Orochi Kyo(Red Flames) by kosuke youhei" Similar to Jin's Orochi Kyo, but he has been given red flames, hence the name. Other then that he's pretty much the same. A good character overall.

 

122. "Orochi Kyo by Jin & AddiK" This Kyo is completely unchanged from the one mentioned above, at least from I've seen. If anyone finds something different please let me know.

 

123. "No Flames Kyo by HALL" This Kyo is almost unchanged from the original. He retains the usual moveset, specials and hypers. His intros are unchanged apart from having "no" flames, hence his name, but he also has his standard intros with flames as well. A good character in all.

 

124. "Orochi Kyo SP_ WOJ by 973supershadow & The Passing" This Oroch Kyo retains the usual moveset, specials and hypers as most other Orochi based edits, but also has Sachiel as a striker. This version originates from the fan-made game KoF Wings of Justice. A good character in all.

 

125. "Oroch Kyo SP_KOFM by The Passing & Manish Sen" This Orochi Kyo has the same moves as the WOJ version, but now has a new outfit and has KoF Memorial styled gameplay. Great for any roster.

 

126. "Kyo-213 by Kotori" One of the more epic edits, most of his moves are taken from Krizalid, but he also has Geese Howard's Raging Storm, and Rugal's Genocide Cutter. Other features include a machine gun, Zero's White Hole, a laser, and a projectile that somewhat looks like a Hadouken. I highly recommend this one.

 

127. "Kyo-F by Sorenari" This Kyo retains all his specials, and hypers, along with the usual moveset. Unfortunately I can't seem find any additional features with this one. If anyone does let me know.

 

128. "Orochi Real Kyo by NeoGouki" This Orochi Kyo plays exactly like the original Kyo. Aside from the custom pallete, and new idle animation he has no other additional features. Looks creepy, and plays just as good though.

 

129. "Sachiel by Rikard" I don't know who or what this Kyo is based off. He has mostly sword based attacks, and can fire a wave like projectile of crimson red energy. Other features include teleportation, and a full-screen hyper were he sends out waves of red energy. I highly recommend this one.

 

130. "Sachiel-I by Unknown Author" A slight edit of Sachiel, giving him a few more features. These include Marukare as a hyper, and Chargecancels, and Dreamcancels. He also has Satsuki from Melty Blood as a striker. A great character overall.

131. Kyo-ROTD by Ryo 2005" This Kyo retains all his usual specials and hypers, but now has Rage of the Dragons styled gameplay. A great character overall.

 

132. "Last Clone Kyo by Beppu" This Kyo retains the usual moves, specials, and hypers as the original, like most clone based edits. His flames have been edited to be blue. Has Chargecancels and Dreamcancels. A good character in all.

 

133. "Lethal Power Kyo by Ç³³ª¡¢ÄÇéäºÛ" This Kyo retains the usual specials and hypers as the original. New features include X-shaped fire projectiles, flame pillars, and a variety of full-screen hypers. Has Ash Crimson, Chizuru Kagura, and Yasanagi as strikers. A great character fit for any roster.

 

134 "Alex Mercer by Gans & Pazitivv" This edit is based of the main protagonist of Prototype by CAPCOM. His gameplay involves him shaping his limbs into blades, tentacles, maces, and sprouting tentacles from his back to name a few. A good character in all.

 

135. "Alex Mercer by Gans, Pazitivv, & Farengeit" A small updat to the one mentioned above, that gives him a full-screen hyper and better AI. Other then that he's pretty much the same. Still suitable for the roster though.

 

136. "Psychopath Kyo by DrKelexo" This edit uses KoF XIII sprites. This is a joke edit of sorts, but the gameplay is pretty balanced. He retains the usual specials and hypers, but also can throw bombs that resemble Servbots head or a simple box. His intros are pretty funny and his voice pack gave me a pretty good laugh. CAUTION: Has foul language. A good character in all.

 

137. "Psychopath Kyo by DarkLuigi" I'm guessing this was meant to e an edit of Psychopath Kyo. However I couldn't find no differences between the two, if anyone does please let me know.

 

138. "Kusanagi_XIII by K6666orochi" This edit is just Kyo as he appears in KoF XIII made to resemble Kusanagi. He retains all his specials and hypers. He is pretty accurate to the actual Kusanagi and the animations are pretty spot on. A good character in all.

 

139. "Kusanagi_XIII by Tobikage"  This edit is very similar to K6666orochi's version, but features a custom gameplay of which I have no clue of what it is. He has the usual specials and hypers. Well suited fro the roster.

 

140. "Kusanagi_XIII by Jean Bureau" Another Kyo from Kof XIII made to look like Kusanagi, he retains the usual moves from the other two, but now has Dreamcancels, and Chargecancels. A good character overall.

141. "Kyo Clone-10 by Zelgadis" This version of Kyo Clone-10 is very similar to the others, complete with the same specials, and hypers. Has Mukai's Netherworld Agony, as well as Chargecancels and Dreamcancels. Compatible with Midnight Bliss. Great for any roster.

 

142. "Clone Kyo(Kyo Mob) by ThePaper" This Kyo has been made into a bonus stage character of sorts. As the name suggests you fend off a mob of Kyo clones, they have all his standard moves, specials, and hypers. Has Supercancels and Dreamcancels. Well suited for any roster.

 

143. "Kyo Kusanagi by hork & Kn" For the most part this Kyo is completely unchanged from the from the original, retaining the standard moves, specials, and hypers. He now has Kasumi Todoh as a striker. A good character overall.

 

144. "Kyo Kusanagi by Sander71113" For the most part this Kyo is completely unchanged from the original in terms of the standard moveset, specials, and hypers, He has custom gameplay which features a groove select that consists of several different KoF gameplays. Has brutal AI, and also has Benimaru Nikaido, Shingo Yabuki, and Goro Daimon as strikers. Makes for a good midboss.

 

145. "Kyo Kusanagi by Menes" This Kyo retains his usual fire based attacks, but now has Joe Joe's Bizarre Adventure styled gameplay. Has Jotaro's  Star Platinum as a stand. His animations are a bit stiff, but this can be overlooked. Good overall.

 

146. "Kyo-3 by Jin & GARI" An updated version of Kyo-3. As you can see his pallette has been fixed during his idle animation. Has Dreamcancels and Supercancels. A good character overall.

 

146. Kyo Kusanagi by Zaiko & Butti" This Kyo sports his attire from KoF 2002, but has gameplay from KoF XI, he also has K', Shingo Yabuki, and Saisyu Kusanagi as strikers. He retains all the usual specials and hypers. A good character in all.

 

147. "Kyozalid by KeiDash" This Kyo has been given the appearance and moveset of Krizalid. He has all of Krizalid's specials and hypers, as well as the real Krizalid as a striker. I highly recommend this one.

 

148. "Krizanagi by Listening" This Kyo has been given Krizalid's appearance during round 2, as of such he has all his attacks, specials, and hypers from that form as well. A good character in all.

 

149. "Kyo Kusanagi by Infinite" This Kyo is completely unchanged in terms of the basic moveset, specials, and hypers. He has been given high resolution sprites, and has Infinite's custom gameplay. A good character in all. 

 

150. "New Kyo by Yuki" This Kyo is almost unchanged from the original, having the usual moveset, specials, and hypers, as the original Kyo. He has custom pallettes, and also has Another Iori as a striker.  A good character in all.

151. "CCI_Kyo by David Demanioff" This edit uses sprites from KoF 95. I can't seem to find anything different about him unfortunately. If anyone does please let me know.

 

152. "ES-Kyo by beppu" This Kyo retains the usual moveset, specials, and hypers. He has KoF XI styled gameplay, and has Iori Yagami, and Chizuru Kagura as strikers. A good character in all.

 

153. "KD-Kyo by David Demanioff" Once again, this edit is almost unchanged from the original. He has custom pallettes, and his flames have been edited to look like blood. Still a good character however.

 

154. "Kyo Mercenary(Old version) by Jin, Shin Yagami, & ½ðÉßÌì×ð" This is the original version of Kyo Mercenary, without any additional moves, or specials. As of such he is simply Kyo with custom pallette, as well as his usual special and hypers.

 

155. "Gorgeous God Kyo by jkluiop804" A cheap edit of Kyo, he retains the usual moveset, specials, and hypers, some additional features include several full-screen hypers, and he also has Ash Crimson, Chizuru Kagura, Yasanagi, and Mizuchi as strikers. Download if you like cheap edits.

 

156. "Kyo Kusanagi by Ina" This edit retains the usual moveset, specials, and hypers. He does have some kind of custom gameplay, but I have no clue what kind. If anyone does please let me know.

 

157. "Kyo-6 by mast-chen" This Kyo has a mode select at the beginning of each battle, he retains all the specials and hypers as the original. Has Shingo Yabuki, Goro Daimon, and Benimaru Nikaido as strikers.

 

158. "Kyo-7 by BioTenshi" One of the few Kyo clones with a number who doesn't use his classic look. He retains the basic moveset as the original, he doesn't seem to have any specials or hypers. Perhaps this edit was made to be a brawler, or maybe this is a late beta. I don't know how to rate this one, so just be your own judge and give it a go.

 

159. "Kyo-8 by 541 SHOUT" This Kyo is completely unchanged from the original, he retains all his specials and hypers, as well as his basic moveset. I'm guessing he was made to be a simple clone of Kyo. He still a good character fit for the roster though.

 

160. "Kyo-9 by m_ken" This Kyo uses CAPCOM styled sprites, he retains the usual movest, specials, and hypers as the original. The only new feature I found was a special that causes the screen to go black as he pummels his foe. He still for the roster though.

161. "Kyo Kusanagi by Beppu" This edit is completely unchanged from the original, he has custom palettes, and has KoF 98UM styled gameplay. Well suited for any roster.

 

162. "Kyo Kusanagi by Ikaruga & Silber T" This Kyo uses sprites from KoF 2003 but has KoF XIII styled gameplay. He has custom palettes, and also has Dreamcancels, and Chargecancels. Some of his animations are glitched but these are few and far between. A good character in all.

 

163. "Kyo NBC by Beppu" Another Kyo by Beppu. I unfortunately can't seem to find anything new with this one. Some of his flames have glitched, but this is forgivable.

 

164. "Kyo-S-Type by Jjong1917"  This Kyo retains the basic moves, specials, and hypers. Unfortunately, other then his stance, I can't seem to find anything else new with it, if anyone does let me know.

 

165. "Kyo XIII_WLS by Vans" For the most part this Kyo is completely unchanged from the original, he features custom palettes, and a counter system of sorts. He retains the usual moveset, specials, and hypers. Decent overall.

 

166. "Kyo-XM by Jjong1917"  This edit is almost unchanged from the original, he retains his usual moveset, specials, and hypers. Some extra features include a huge fireball, and several full-screen hypers. A good character in all.

 

167. "Ryona Kyo by Lucifer" Although this Kyo appears similar to other edits, even retaining the usual moveset, specials and hypers, it has been given a few NSFW features. These include compatibility with hentai characters, were he is changed into Kula Diamond with his attire, and a NSFW KO. Download at your own risk.

 

168. "Blue Flames Kyo by Opirus & Another Kusanagi" This Kyo is unchanged from the original, the only exception obviously is that he now has blue flames instead of the usual color. Other then that he is pretty much the same. A good character in all.

 

169. "Another Orochi Kyo by $AnotherOrochi$" This Kyo retains the usual moves as the original, but his palette has been edited to look more dark, and his flames have been edited to resemble Orochi's. Other then that he's got no new specials or hypers.

 

 

170. "Element Stars Kyo by É¿¡îÇé" This Kyo also retains his usual moveset, but has been given some extra moves as well. These include Marukare, a full-screen ice storm, lightning strikes, and flame pillars to name a few. Download if you like cheap characters.

171."Evolution Kyo by SSkye" This Kyo retains the usual moveset as the original. The only new features I've seen are a hyper that is an enhanced version of his flame column, and the use of a column of light. A decent character overall.

 

172. "EX Kyo Sky by Jin" This edit retains the usual moveset, and also has a rapid kick special, as well as an attack that somewhat resembles Guile's Flash Kick. He also has a few full-screen hypers. A good character in all.

 

173. "Heaven-Vulcan by Gear" This Kyo only a few of his usual moves, and yet he doesn't have anything new from what I can tell. I'm not even sure why he's called Heaven-Vulcan. If anyone finds more features let me know.

 

174. "Insane Gamer by insanegameryt" This Kyo is supposedly based on a Youtuber called The Insane Gamer. However it seems he only has Kyo's standard moveset, specials, and hypers. He also has what looks like a rage meter that builds as he takes damage. He also has slightly higher damage output. He's not too terribly cheap, so he makes for a good sub-boss.

 

175. "Kyo Institute by Jin & Gogame" Another edit that retains the usual moveset. He doesn't seem to have any additional moves, along with some glitched sprites in some of his animations. Has Supercancels, and Dreamcancels. Decent overall.

 

176. "Kyo Wing by Ahuron" I'm not sure why this edit is called Kyo Wing, or at least that's what the file is called. He retains the usual moveset, and like most custom Kyo edits, several full-screen hypers. A good character in all.

 

177. "Legend Kyo by Jin" For the most part, this Kyo retains the usual moves as the original. New features include several new flame projectiles, and some full-screen hypers. He has a brutal AI, so it's best to use him as a boss. A good character in all.

 

178. "Kyo Kusanagi by Sorenari" This Kyo is mostly unchanged from the original, having only a few custom hypers, mostly consisting of flame waves. A good character in all.

 

179. "Saint Blue by Jin" This Kyo is an ice user. All his usual moves, specials, and hypers have been replaced with ice as well, he also has Kula Diamond, and Iori Yagami as strikers. Hypers include Ice like lasers filling the screen, an icy tornado, and what looks like  a giant blue image of who looks like Mr. Karate. A great character for any roster.

 

180. "MK by Super" I'm not sure what this Kyo is based off, but he appears to be an edit of Kyo Clone-10, as he has most of the moveset from said edit, except Mukai's Netherworld Agony, but has a version of Mizuchi's Harai instead. Nothing much else appears to have been added it seems.

181. "Angry Joe by SSkye" This edit is obiviously based off the Youtuber, and journalist Angry Joe. He has Kyo basic moveset, minus the flames. He has Sith Lightning as a special, and what can onlt be described as a Cuss Cannon as a hyper. A good character in all. 

1. "Dark Athena by ActJapan" This Athena retains her normal moveset, but has been given a bunch of new specials and hypers. She can surround herself with energy spheres,and create clones of herself that serve as strikers, as well as distractions to name a couple. One hyper consists of dropping a bunch of huge weights on her foes. She is pretty cheap, but feel free to try her if you want.

 

2. "Darkness Athena by KILL" This Athena retains her basic moveset and her Psycho Ball special, in addition some of her attacks are taken from Rugal and K'. Added specials include fireballs, large electric spheres, and Zero's white hole to name a few. Has Glaugan as a striker. A good character fit for any roster.

 

3. "D-Athena by Ahuron" This Athena isn't based off anything that I know of, her specials however have been heavily edited, such as bigger Psycho Balls along with heavier damage, sending image's of herself that set her opponent up for a juggle, and she also has Magaki, Orochi, and Akuma as strikers. Download if you like cheap edits.

 

4. "Athena Nakomiya by Ainotenshi" This Athena is Based off Nakoruru of Samurai Shodown. She has fire and ice based powers, and even has Nakoruru's hawk as a special. Download if you like Samurai Shodown.

 

5. "Athena Type-M by Unknown Author" This Athena retains her usual moves, and specials. Some new features include parries, counterattacks, and increased health to name a few. One new special grants the ability to heal herself. Makes for a good boss.

 

6. "Mystic Athena by Ard-Kiro" This Athena retains the usual moveset along with her Psycho Ball special. New specials include a larger projectile that somewhat resembles a Hadouken, sending a clone of herself that grapples her opponent then following up with flurry of punches and kicks, and using what looks like a lightsaber. One hyper has her sprouting a pair of wings, grabbing her foe then slamming them into the ground. She's not too cheap, and her gameplay is pretty good. The only flaw is that her voice clip is a little low, still she's worth a try.

 

7. "Psycho Soldier Athena by Djlove" This Athena retains the usual moveset and specials, she also has a couple of new specials, like surrounding herself with stars that serve as barrier of sorts, and a UFO striker. She is a beta and her animations are a little stiff. A pass for me, but feel free to try her if you like.

 

8. "Shin Athena by Tuki no Turugi" This Athena has the usual moveset. In addition to the normal power bar in Mugen, she also has some kind of gauge at the bottom of the screen. She doesn't seem to have any other additional features, at least from what I see. If anyone discovers more features let me know.

 

9. "Zero Athena by Yoshino S." A cheap edit of Athena, she has regenerating health, can send a wave of either lightning bolts or whirlwinds across the stage, and has enhanced versions of her specials as hypers. Has Fliz, Maria Shinzaki, Shiki, and Shadow Dio as strikers. Download if you like cheap edits.

 

10. "Athena X by GURI" This Athena retains all her standard moveset, as well as her specials and hypers. One interesting feature is that pressing the taunt button causes her to swap between each of her appearances throughout the KoF series, other then that she is pretty much the same. She is a unique character and is well suited for any roster.

11. "Master Athena by GURI" This edit has the standard moveset like normal, my guess is that the author who created Athena X or someone else had the idea to either make improvements to her or use her as a starting point for a completely new edit/character, but only changed the name before either losing interest or moving onto another project altogether. As a result she is literally the same as Athena X, but with a different name.

 

12. "Athena 99 by Niitris" This edit is Athena from KoF 99, but with long hair and a few custom palletes. She has all the usual specials and hypers as the original.

 

13. "Athena EX by EI" This edit is almost unchanged from the original. The only difference I could find is that she has a blacked out version of Sie Kensou as a striker, she herself also has glitched palettes during her intros as well as some animations. This is a pass for me, but feel free to try her if you want.

 

14."Athena Nurse by S.Y.D" As the name implies this edit is Athena in a nurse's outfit. Her attacks consist of using her syringe as slashing weapon, and a special which involves using it like a throwing knife. She doesn't seem to have any hypers. Has a NSFW (non-explicit) KO. A good character but a bit basic.

 

15. "Athena Heidern by S.Y.D" As the name implies this Athena is based off Heidern, and as of such she has his specials and hypers. Has a unique intro when pitted against herself, and a NSFW (non-explicit) KO. She is a great  character and I would definitely recommend this one.

 

16. "Athena Asamiya Bikini by GACN" This Athena is based off her ancestor Princess Athena, and uses high resolution sprites. Her specials consist of shooting fireballs from her sword, donning a pair of gauntlets and charging into her opponent, and a bow projectile to name a few. She has no hypers, no voice clip, and the animations are just a tad stiff as seen in her intro and some attacks. She's not good, but she's not bad either.

 

17. "Maria Shinzaki by Mouki" Maria actually made her debut in The King of Fighters 2002 as one of Athena's closet friends and even appeared in some of her intros, yet she was never playable. Since she has psycho powers like Athena she also has a similar moveset. She does have one unique hyper were she unleashes a flurry of brutal kicks on her foe. A good character in all.

 

18. "Maria Shinzaki by Zayro" This edit is similar to the one mentioned above. New features include an electric version of psycho ball, charging diagonally into her opponent while sheathed in energy, and a flying kick. I highly recommend this one.

 

19. "Asuka by Zelgadis" Like Maria, Asuka made her debut in The King of Fighters 2002, and is a close friend of Athena, and appeared in some of her intros, but wasn't playable. Gameplay wise she is she has almost the same exact moveset as Athena, hypers in all. Has a NSFW (non-explicit) KO. This character is actually from the fan-made game The King of Fighter Memorial LV2. She is a good character fit for any roster.

 

20. "Jamine Polonce by RBGarcia" I'm not sure who or what this Athena based off. Her specials consist of using a laser like blade while spinning through the air, and a rising whirlwind. Her hypers consist of a vertical laser that serves as an anti-air attack of sorts, and turning into a tornado. I highly recommend this one.

21. "Akane by Oscar12345" I don't know what this Athena is based off. Unlike other edits she does not retain any specials or hypers of the original. Her only special that I know of is a flying kick. Hypers consist of a laser that can be a single shot or a volley, charging at her foe's while turning invisible and remaining so as she pummels them, while flowers highlight were they are struck, and unleashing what looks like a flower petals at close range. A bit cheap but worth a go.

 

22. "Alessia by RBGarcia" This edit retains some of the original moveset and also has a few new specials as well. These include two attacks where she rolls into a ball and slams into her opponent (one resembles Kano's air ball while the other resembles Mileena's Rolling Thunder), and sword slashes to name a couple. Parts of her voice clips are taken from Julia Chang from Tekken. Compatible with Midnight Bliss. I highly recommend this one.

 

23. "Ayaka by Shoe" This Athena has been made into a brawler. her only special that I've seen is an uppercut that resembles a Shoryuken. Hypers include a trio of heavy punches and a parry. She is a bit basic but decent overall.

 

24. "Bia Peres by RBGarcia" This edit retains the basic moveset, but has different specials and hypers. Specials include sheathing herself in psycho power and charging upward for an anti-air attack, sending images of herself for a variety of attacks, and a psycho projectile. Hypers include sheathing herself in light that knocks the opponent back, and sending an image of herself that if successfully grabs the opponent causes an explosion that launches them skyward. Compatible with Midnight Bliss. She is a good character and well suited for the roster.

 

25. "Carolaine by RBGarcia" One of my favorite edits. She retains some of the usual Psycho Power attacks, but most of her attacks involve utilizing volleyballs as projectiles in numerous ways. The volleyballs can be a simple straight shot, going in bouncing formation that can hit either standing or jumping opponents, and some even appear as bombs. Their are two different types, one goes off on impact, and the other is timed and she usually throws two or three at a once of the that kind. Watch out though, the explosion can also damage her as well. She is a really fun character, and I highly recommend her for the roster.

 

26. "Constantinus II by Fishbed"  One of the more cheaper edits. Her basic attacks involve slashing her foes with her fingernails/claws. Her specials consist of magic based projectiles fired from her fingers,grabbing her opponent and setting them on fire or what looks like biting them on the neck, and surrounding herself in a shield of energy to name a few. She also has the ability to side step any attack, including full screen ones, and the AI will abuse this to no end, as in not take a single hit. Parts of her voice clip is taken from Lynnette of Soul Calibur. Download if you like cheap edits.

 

27. "Constantinus III by Fishbed" Similar to Constantinus II but is more focused on using specials. She can't side step like the other, and is immune to almost all projectiles. Specials include energy blades, magic projectiles, and a shield to keep the opponent at bay. Her voice clip is taken from Cassandra Alexandra from Soul Calibur. Has a NSFW (non-explicit) KO, though it happens randomly. Download if you like magical girls.

 

28. "Heraclius by Fishbed" Another magical school girl. She has similar attacks like Constantinus III, as in energy projectiles, electric lasers, and energy blades. The one thing she does have is slightly more health. She is not as cheap as the the author's other edits and fills the role of a boss pretty well. A great character for any roster.

 

29.Heraklonas by Fishbed" The most balanced edit from this author's set of edits. She is very similar to Athena herself, but with the electric laser hyper, and electric shield. Like with other edits this one fires a ball of energy instead of the usual psycho ball. She is a great character well suited for any roster.

 

30. "Maoko by Fishbed" Once again, very similar to Constantinus II but not as cheap. Her attacks consist of using her fingernails as blades, and sending a wave of energy across the stage that juggles the opponent and pushes them back in the process. She also has a hyper that greatly resembles Lilith's Splendor Love from Darkstalkers. Makes for a good boss battle.

31. "Kei Nanasawa by Rikard" This Athena is one part part brawler and another part lightning user. Some of her basic attacks bare a slight resemblance to K', specials include an energized slide kick, electric spheres, and a long range jump kick to name a few. Hypers include a series of flip kicks following up with a stomp to the chest, and a series of punches. I highly recommend this one.

 

32. "Clara Heidern by RBGarcia" This is Athena Heidern with a different palette to make her look more like Heidern's deceased daughter. She has the same attacks a Athena Heidern as well. 

 

33. "Esmeralda by Shunchainm, Tecla2000, & alberich" This edit is based on a character from the anime Saint Seiya. Her specials include fireballs, knives, and using her armor. Has Ikki as a striker. Download if you like Saint Seiya.

 

34. "Lumina by Y&M" This edit bares a strong resemblance to Lili from Tekken, however she plays nothing like Lili, and most of her attacks are similar to Orochi. She has it's Lightning Pillar, and Harae as specials, and she can send a trail of Lighting Pillars across the screen as a hyper. I highly recommend this one.

 

35. "Meer Campbell by NSX-R" This edit is based off a character from the Gundam series. Her specials consist of an energy based projectile and numerous strikers. Hypers include, a large electric sphere, a version of Dio's Steam Roller Da but replaced with a car, and a whirlwind to name a few. She is a great character and I definitely recommend this one.

 

36. "Dark Magician Girl by DJ Xtool" This edit is based off a character from Yu Gi Oh!. She has the basic melee attacks as most edits, but also has a few that involve her staff as a blunt weapon as well. Specials include a short range burst of magic, and a powerful kick that knocks the opponent away to name a couple. The only hyper that I've seen is a flurry of staff strikes, but FF3 revealed a bit more that may involve Dark Magician, and Breaker the Magical Warrior, that's all in theory of course, it also revealed one NSFW image, but I've never seen it in game, so download at your own risk. Compatible with Midnight Bliss.

 

37. "Athena Nurse HD by Romanov" This is Nurse Athena with Hi-Res sprites. She retains the moveset as the other one, but she also has the hypers from the original Athena. Has a NSFW (non explicit) KO. She is a good character fit for any roster.

 

38. "Athena-Sailor by Romanov" This edit is just Athena herself with hi-res sprites. She has all her specials and hypers like normal. Has a NSFW (non explicit) KO. Her animations are great and she is well suited for any roster.

 

39 "Athena Asamiya by Sheld" This Athena is almost unchanged from the original, but she seems to have the ability to perform one hyper and then execute another half-way through the animation. She is just a good as the original and well suited for any roster.

 

40. "CAPCOM Athena by Hero"  This Athena retains all her specials, hypers, and basic moveset. As her name implies she has CAPCOM styled sprites. Great for any roster.

41. "Another Athena by xxxXx" Also known as Armored Athena, this is Athena's striker from KoF 2000. Her basic movset consists of sword and shield attacks. Specials include  bow shots, and a fireball to name a couple. One hyper features a barrage of arrows followed by a bigger fireball. She is a late beta, but more than playable.

 

 

42. "New Athena by JFCT555" This Athena is almost unchanged from the original. The only thing new I can find is a hyper that consists of a large Psycho Ball, however FF3 revealed more hypers that may involve her friends, Asuka and Maria. If anyone finds anything else let me know.

 

43. "Sandy by JuanABL"  Literally a fusion of Athena and Blue Mary, as suggested by her intro. She has several different modes depending on which pallete you choose. Which one you pick determines her specials, and hypers. This can be the usual Psycho Power, as well as fire, wind, cutting, and ice based attacks. She is a great character, and I highly recommend this one. 

 

44. "Slasher Athena by an unknown unknown" This Athena retains the usual specials, and hypers, but as the name suggests her moveset has her utilizing knife based attacks. Compatible with Midnight Bliss, and has a NSFW (non explicit) KO. Further NSFW warning: compatible with some hentai characters, so download at your own risk.

 

45. "Elysium by Chuchoryu"  This edit is based on the final boss from Soul Calibur 5. Her attacks involve using a sword, shape shifting into other characters of the Soul series, and her trademark move (Eleusian Initiation) is her hyper. Download if you like Soul Calibur.

 

46. "Soul Calibur(SNK Version) by CVS Artist" This edit is a take on what the Spirit sword itself would look like in humanoid form, she uses sprites based on Goddess Athena. Like Elysium she attacks by shape shifting into other characters from the Soul series, but also uses her sword and shield as well. Has the same hyper as Elysium. A good character in all.

 

47. "Soul Calibur(CAPCOM Version) by CVS Artist" Another take on the spirit sword, aside from the CAPCOM styled sprites, she is exactly the same as the SNK version, and just a good for the roster as well.

 

48. "Athena XIII(Hentai Edit) by K6666orochi" This Athena uses KoF XIII sprites. She retains her basic moveset, specials, and hypers. As you can see her idle stance has been edited to be more fan-service like. Being a hentai edit she is of course NSFW, so download at your own risk.

 

49. "Atesa by aaze" This Athena is mostly a fire user, she retains the basic moveset as the original. New specials include, teleporting, a laser, and fireballs. Her hypers consist of a barrage of flaming skulls, followed by a laser, a flaming dive bomb, and a full-screen attack that what appears to covering the earth in a harsh light that causes massive damage. Has a NSFW (non-explicit) KO. Well suited for any roster.

 

50. "Marvel Girl by bdc and aa250" This edit is based off Jean Grey's classic X-Men identity. She has the basic moveset, and her specials consist of fireballs, waves of flame sent across the ground, and telekinisis to name a few. A good character in all.

51. "Athena-Flames by KoopaKoot" This Athena retains all the usual moveset, specials, and hypers as the original. New features include, a large fireball, shot vertically from the air, and a hyper consisting of assitance from her friends to name a few. A good character overall.

 

52. "Athena Asamiya XIII by Mondregon" This Athena retains all the basic moves, specials, and hypers as the original. She uses sprites from KoF XI, but has gameplay from KoF XIII. Other then that, she's pretty much the same.

 

53. "Tethys by Kingseiya" This edit has been made into a character from the anime Saint Seiya. The majority of her attacks are projectiles that consist of fire, and balls of energy, but she is mostly a brawler, and feels like she's a late beta. Has a french voice pack.
