MFFA's Ask a User Thread (Ask OxyontheWolf)
DarkWolf13 replied to RicePigeon's topic in [ RANDOM CHATTER ]
What's your favorite fighting style in MUGEN? -
The only character I want to return is Wolf. And if he does return, I'll be satisfied.
-
Well, I'll be damned! That makes 2 Capcom representatives now... and Roy, I look forward to play as him.
-
For the projectile consumption, you should add 150 to 200 Power.

OK, here're my questions - Favorite ScreenPack? - Top main in MUGEN? (and mention the author's name) - What do you like most about in the MUGEN community in general? -
Is that the one where there's a warning sign that the stage will flip?
-
Just showing one of Ryan's new hit sprites.
-
Well, I don't care. If Wolf gets in, I'll be super satisfied. I do wonder if I play as Mewtwo in Classic, I may unlock his custom moves... if there's any for him.
-
This is so original... keep them originals coming! Expand the MUGEN universe with originals! This is a sick char Duck! Incredible!
-
If he was to be confirmed, I think some of his custom moves include the rapid firing blaster, the reflector that can be kicked forward like Falco's, a fire cloaked charge like their Up Special and probably a few other new moves.
-
Before Brawl was released in Japan, many players wanted Wolf to be in and I googled him for DLC and it appears a lot of people want him in SSB4.
-
I still hope Wolf gets a spot.

Alright, Omega Red is finished until I can figure how to fix his Carbonadium Smasher problem, which is the only trouble remaining, so I'll upload him later on today as well as everyone else because I added few things such as a specific Win animation to play when they win by Time Over. So be ready when update the thread. Right now at this time, I got a doctor appointment.
-
I was thinking the same thing... does Mewtwo have Custom moves that are already unlocked?
-
Probably the same as Brawl but keeps the nature of the attack since Ness' Final Smash has him summoning a storm of meteors that you can actually direct. Back in Brawl, both Final Smashes had meteors scattered all over.

Well, I know what moves Spiral used in MvC2 so that won't be hard. And I'm almost done with Omega Red. Once he's uploaded to this thread I'll have a look at those chars suggested. I also plan to update Fox by giving him his Reflector. That may make him OP, because Hyper attacks like Shinku Hadouken, Soul Eraser, even Sniper Fox will not faze him one bit if he was to set up the Reflector for those moves. Amazing? Yes but again, he could be OP'd from this. I'll have the Reflector used to deflect normal and special projectiles. Edit: Succeeded in adding Fox's Reflector. Minor error with it and though it's an error, you may actually like it. Fox will sometimes avoid taking damage from an attack that's not a special or normal projectile and if he does it in the air, he'll freeze in place or slightly move, avoiding moves on the ground he could land on but moves like Shinku Hadouken, good timing is needed to avoid damage. Command: ~D, DB, B, a/b/c. The reflector will be on for 30 ticks and will be destroyed by attacks that are not Normal/Special Projectiles. Fox is also granted immunity from those moves as the Reflector's a helper. If the Reflector is hit by required attack types, it'll add 30 more ticks to its current duration. This update will be added when I upload Omega Red when I finish.

Why do you even want a cheap/broken version for?

It appears that my conversion attempt on Iwakick's Omega Red is a total disaster... the vars and helpers he used is beyond my ability and thus, and regrettably I have given up on the conversion and plan to convert someone else's Omega Red in the future. Sorry it took long but it was frustrating figuring out the coding. Edit: I checked and thanks to Tony Redgrave for suggesting this. It appears Cyanide's Omega Red can be something I can work with at ease. Only several variables are used so this one won't be hard like Iwakick's, hopefully. Edit 6/1/2015: Just started Cyanide's Omega Red and it turns out this conversion will be much easier. Mouser's MvC2 misc sparks are sprites 8000 and up and Cyanide don't have those in use or animations #. His .sff, .air and .snd are already done. Just need to put his basics in and test it like always. As for Iwakick's Spiral, I don't think I'll be able to do that one either for the same reason.

Well, I'll pick Riolu to play as and Totodile as my partner, just like Explorers of Sky. At least I don't have to worry about the Belly system but GarchompMatt did forget one crucial thing. You have LIMITED number of moves in a dungeon. After a long time has passed on a certain floor, you'll see a message saying you feel a mysterious wind blowing. That's a signal that you better hurry up and advance to the next floor. You'll get 2 warnings of that wind and if you get a third warning, GAME OVER. What I mean by that is that you and your team are blown out of the dungeon and it counts as a loss. Also, Escape Orbs are the most crucial item to have besides the Reviver Seeds. If you use an Escape Orb in the middle of a dungeon, it'll count as a win and says you safely escaped and you keep everything you found before that point you use it. To add on to the recruitment, not many Pokemon will join you at the early stages but as your level gets higher, more Pokemon may want to join you. The most difficult Pokemon to recruit is Kecleon. They are FAR FAR MORE powerful than Legendaries and WILL call on a horde to wipe you out if you damage him in their shop within the dungeon. I haven't played Gates to Infinity so I don't know the shops still there. And like all games. Some Pokemon WILL join you no matter what, this goes for Legendaries and strong Pokemon too. In Red/Blue Rescue team, Pokemon like Magnemite, Absol, Latias and Gardevoir will join you after a mission by either asking to join you and you accept or right off the bat. In Time/Darkness/Sky, Mewtwo is only obtainable through a Challenge Letter and he WILL ask to join you post-game if you defeat him. Anyway, Noob, you'll enjoy this game. Now, since it's retail, I'm super excited for the game.
