These past months and the next year coming I will focus on the full game KOF Anthology 3rd version.
This time I don't want to make just a simple compilation but something more "homogeneous", so I simply applied a template with hitsparks (the tosix ones), 4 buttons easy combos and specials/hypers frenzy.
I've made things to work the fastest possible. It won't be perfect for some characters, a bunch of chars will remain simply basic, I will try to fix and/or improve the most characters I can. A lot of chars are ready to go. I'm still thinking about the screenpack. The road will be long...

In Mugen world everybody knows Chuchoryu. Behind the language barrier, the man has a bunch of ideas, some good spriting skills and works really fast. Too fast maybe, giving betas and incomplete characters, with a lot of potential btw. I really like what he does, it could be far better with patience and time. I asked Chucho if I could edit some of his characters. What I did : applied my tosix template, frankensprited some of the sprites, coded some new specials and hypers. In Mugen world everybody knows Chuchoryu. Behind the language barrier, the man has a bunch of ideas, some good spriting skills and works really fast. Too fast maybe, giving betas and incomplete characters, with a lot of potential btw. I really like what he does, it could be far better with patience and time. I asked Chucho if I could edit some of his characters. What I did : applied my tosix template, frankensprited some of the sprites, coded some new specials and hypers. M.U.G.E.N 1.1 out, PNG24 finally supported with real transparency effects and no color limits, time to launch my new screenpack dockyard.



So what's kept :
Sounds and graphics (logo, style, typo, etc.) from Mugen Multiverse 1.0 keeping this retro style I'm liking so much.

The brain killer select screen style combining slots & unlimited space.
** How does this work? : 364 slots for characters you want to show with mini portraits,
if you go to the left/right you'll have all the other characters under the category selected.

So what's done/new :
Everything scaled to 720p : option, title, select, versus, etc. screens adapted.
Lifebars revamped from scratch inspired by the old low-res ones by Doorhenge.
New sffv2 "Badaboom" font.
New simplified intro and victory screen (at last but disable by default...).

Time has come to make something really "new" for the Mugen community (not just a character edit or a screenpack). I wanted to take this time on coding from scratch a character never done before.

My choice went for Karochi Taiki from PSX Tatsunoko Fight, some cool well sprited character originaly created for the game (thanks to Thor on MFG who shared most of the spritesheets, I ripped by myself the specials et hypers sprites).
I used the KFM and my -ToSix- template, gave the character some original custom moves. Completely changed his voice (PSX version was messy). And we're done.++
