  6. I HATE EXPLODS HELPERS ARE MY REAL FRIENDS ..... Well this is embarrassing Pretty much I want to have an explod bind to this helper, which it does, but it isn't displaying properly. I have the explod within the helper code, spawning when the helper is active. How it displays(if my guess is correct, it keeps spawning itself on top of itself creating this look) How it should display(which i can only get to show by putting some asinine removetime like pos x < frontedgedist D: ) In both situations, it only shows one frame of the animation. I thought making this a explod would save me time since I just need this for cosmetic effect, but it's annoying me now. >_> helpplz

  18. That's not what Jpeg artifacts are for starters. Every frame is drawn and 'painted' so naturally it's going to beyond 256 colors making multiple palette creation a bit tricky. SOME parts of the images don't have this problem (I'll use Fukua's eyeshadow as an example) and I'm guessing that was to save time. Their images weren't made under a 256 color restriction. I'm not sure how else to reiterate this. What you're calling jpeg artifacts is from the image/animation creation process. Which, in the end doesn't matter once it's scaled, and especially when it's indexed because those areas just become black anyway.

  20. There aren't JPEG artifacts, and even if there were, it wouldn't be noticeable because the sprites are scaled down.

  22. I apologize for not coming here to give you feedback. I also apologize if this becomes a big thing, and I hope other users don't attack you for what I'm going to point out. I found this to be really disrespectful. I'm sure this wasn't your intention, but it comes across a certain way. You're editing his character, which is fine if it's helping you learn (not to mention he's been edited to death for years). It's not fine to kinda say something like this, even if it's Evil Ryu saying it rather than you... I may come back and give real feedback soon. I apologize again.

  24. DONT GIVE UP These things take time. You're essentially learning a new language in addition to everything. KFM has notes that help, and the docs go over things in a general manner. If it's becoming too difficult, carve some time out and check out Ryon's tutorial to get a different understanding.
