Anyways, probably fake, but still: * The Anniversary of Brawl's release in Japan will have a special Nintendo Direct focused on Smash 4. I don't think it will have a trailer included, but I am not sure. From what my friends have speculated, it may just be a retrospective on the Smash Series as a whole with a sliver of new info released. * Little Mac and Takamaru were two of the first characters chosen for Smash 4, both being classic characters that have since experienced a revival via Punch Out Wii/Nintendo Land and are fan favorites. They also represent West vs. East, which Sakurai is aiming for after the previous series strayed too much towards Eastern characters like Fire Emblem and Mother. * King K. Rool and Ridley are also two characters that are being given priority as they too have a lot of requests. King K. Rool's design is said to have a new design that Retro contributed to (perhaps a new Donkey Kong Country is on the horizon?), and Ridley will apparently have a style of game-play that involves the evolution seen in Other M. * Shulk, Dillon, and Ghirahim are currently set to be included, but they haven't been finalized like the four above. * Platinum Games is interested in including a character, yet nothing has been finalized yet. Will probably be from Wonderful 101, but nothing is decided upon. * Starship Mario, Giant Chasm (Pokemon BW2), Pushmo Park, and Cookie Country (Kirby) are levels that have been worked on. * There's a second Yoshi representative who has yet to be introduced and will apparently be appearing in a new game coming out soon that Nintendo asked to be included. The rumored Yoshi Land Wii U? It's apparently Yoshi's new partner another dinosaur character. The name "Debu" has been thrown around, but I'm not sure if that's it's name or a nickname since that just means "fat" in Japanese.
  5. Uh...is it just me, or is the "new" revision exactly the same as the old one? You didn't overwrite the old .rar file on MediaFire, did you? It doesn't actually change anything if you do that. You'd need to delete the old one and then upload the new one for it to work.

  9. Righty-o! It's located in the HitDef state (the same place as the damage). It's near the bottom, and should say something like "ground.hittime =".
  10. - Lower the amount of time the opponent is in the hit state to 8, and add this line into Bubble's command entry in the CMD: triggerall = numhelper (301) = 0 Another suggestion is to reduce Bubble's damage to 3, because for something that doesn't use any power, it packs quite a punch in comparison to Squirtle's basic attacks (though I think they need to have their damage increased). -Width is set at the very top of the constants file (CNS) under . The four parameters you need to change are ground.back, ground.front, air.back and air.front. Ground is the width on the ground, and air is the width in the air...simple stuff. Basically, width is split into two parts: front and back. By pressing Ctrl C in-game, you can see the width of a character by looking for a yellow bar set underneath the character, just above the character's name; typically, the width should cover the width of the character's hitboxes (a character can become slimmer/fatter when jumping, apparently). Because Squirtle's sprites aren't central (and as such, neither are his hitboxes), the ground.front and air.front need to be of a larger value than ground.back and air.back. Because I'm not entirely a cryptic riddle sort of person, my guess is to have these values: ground.back = 9 ground.front = 13 air.back = 11 air.front = 15 If you so happen to centralize Squirtle's sprites, you'll need to adjust these values a bit. On a side note, I cannot figure out what it is that's causing Squirtle to move itself back when it attacks near the opponent with its heavy attack ( c ), although you may want to change the AnimElemTime(X) > 0 in the CMD to movecontact, and make sure "Combo C" doesn't cancel into itself ;)
  11. I like what you've done (although I've never actually been able to try to original), but two key things I noticed: Bubble can put the opponent into an infinite. His width value is too small, and as such, he pushes himself back when the heavy attack ( c ) is used next to the opponent.
  12. The ideal custom character maker would be starting with a single sphere which you can morph, etc., but then you'd add additional shapes, with certain ones having to be assigned as "head", "rarm", "larm", etc. Then you'd make the skeleton and...nah, probably too complicated...

  14. Custom characters...providing it's not a bloody Tamagotchi-style thing I mentioned in an earlier post, then I'm all for it. I also hope it's not a limited selection of stuff, such as selecting small, medium, or large for your character's size, etc.
  15. Video games are supposed to run at 60fps. Open up any game in any emulator and you'll see that the fps counter hovers around 60fps (providing your computer is powerful enough).

  17. That's because he generates electricity during that attack. You can use Thunder without taking damage, but it requires platforms. Yeah, but they didn't have to make him the worst character in Melee :U I do hope "and that he intends to bring back old Nintendo characters for it." means characters from the previous installments (Melee), and with his a whole team dedicated to balancing rather than just Sakurai, perhaps Mewtwo and Pichu won't be so crap after all. Also, GET RID OF FUCKTARD IKE!
  18. Which one? To make them less gimmicky, or to have Zoroark transform into other characters? The latter is what I DON'T want them to do, but they may do anyway...
  19. I hope they make the Pokémon characters less gimmicky. Seriously, Pikachu is the only non-gimmick Pokémon character. Jigglypuff is deliberately pathetic (aside from its fantastic aerial abilities), Pokémon Trainer...seriously?! Lucario only gets useful when his damage is high, and even then, his smash attacks are SO FREAKING SLOW! Mewtwo is the complete opposite of what he is in the games...sorta like Samus, and Pichu is just a completely inferior character to Pikachu. What are they gonna do with Zoroark if he gets in? Make him turn into another character to fight?

First N64 game and more of a publicly-released tech demo, as it uses all features of the N64, so there's bound to be some crappy aspects - Nintendo didn't know what the N64 was capable of way back when, but hardware limitations still prevented use of high-poly models and textures with tons of colour on them. They had to compromise on the graphical aspect of F-Zero X in order to keep a framerate of 60fps; look at the F-Zero racer models when racing - not many faces on those models, are there? Not to mention they used solid colours rather than textures. And then came the GameCube...oh hell yeah! The DS' first game was SM64DS, funny enough
