Duo character. And Duck Hunt is not a duo character, but a trio character (accoring to the official trailer, that is). But Banjo&Kazooie would be interesting nonetheless. I like Shantae as well, and even I think that she has virtually zero chances, simply because of how niche that third party character is.

Fair enough, although after the first demo, I'll start a new thread for the fullgame project. One that is more organized and can serve as a multi-link hub of sorts.

Noice. Maybe you can combine the new Bunny Tracy theme rip with your old Bunny Tracy remix, so we can have a true SF4-style remix of Bunny Tracy's theme, and then a lot of other themes. Oh boy, dis gun b gud!

Nice to know. If you're finished with the sprites and I'm finished with Houbot, I'll be more than glad to pick the coding part of Cliff. Also, I have already set up a more simple version of the upcoming versus screen. I also want to make an "intro" in the versus screen, and I really hope I manage to do that (because I already got half of the needed sprites). But yeah, here is how it currently looks like: Special effects and proper portraits come later (and it's obvious here that the borders were not made for the default 9000;1, but that's the least of my problems, since the 9000;1 portraits are already placeholders to begin with). Also, if this is ever getting ported to the open-source MUGEN clone IKEMEN, then I can replace the black in the left and right edges with a preview of the stage (like in the Mortal Kombat fullgame MKPO for IKEMEN, but without the Mortal Kombat-ness, obviously).

The fact that Goenitz, designed after a Christian priest, is an important villian in the Orochi saga of KOF doesn't really help either. Seriously, why did SNK hated christianity so damn much?

Agreed. Too bad it's Sega we're talking about, since they don't really give a shit about Streets of Rage. Also, it's nice to see that Battletoads not only it not forgotten, but also gets these types of cameos that would give them a good start for a good future.

...yes, yes he did. The ballot already tells you that it has to be a character from a videogame (as in it's not allowed to be a character from an anime). Furthermore, there is the problem with copyright: Dragonball Z does not belong to Nintendo or any other videogame company. I mean, copyright problems were also one of the reasons why James Bond has be scrapped from the Melee roster, so why the hell should it be different for a character from a media that has LESS relevance to Nintendo than Goldeneye 64? Plus, there is that simple thing called common sense. Why would an anime character appear in a game about VIDEOGAME characters? Get real!

Ah, okay. I guess that would decrease my amount of work from "working on Chun Fo alone" to "touch ups of anything rough and unfinished". Actually, do you have anything to show regarding Chun-Fo yet? Would like to know.

But since we're now talking about that Goku, I will just say that he might become playable, but is still highly unlikely because not a lot people know about his existance (it's a similar dilemma with Ayumi Tachibana, who was once cosidered to be playable in Melee). In other news, it's nice to know that this wikia page doesn't have that stupid Golden Freddy jumpscare. Seriously, there were reports of Golden Freddy jumpscares in pretty much every wikia page, including the Steven Universe wikia, strangely (according to the first Golden Freddy jumpscare wikia report, that is).

1. Welp, and I thought p2stateno would handle the targeting on his own. But yeah, adding enemynear really fixed the issue, so thanks, my friend. :) 2. Ah, okay. I fixed that now. 3. Okay, I added collision to the upper half of her body (leaving her feet with no blue collisions so the opponent has to aim high in order to hit) 9. Hmm...fair enough. Did it like that then. So yeah, Goho Li and Rober Pasta updates will be uploaded soon, so please stay tuned. EDIT: Updates released. Also, before I will do major work on Houbot, I will look forward to work on the screenpack first, since that's also needed for the first demo (it will include Goho Li, Rober Pasta, Bunny Tracy, Cliff Li*, Houbot and Chonfu Moon* + compatibilty with the first DLC character Daphne by DuckSS). *I'll work on them after Houbot.

Okay, I'll start with Goho Li: *The pixelated Focus Attack exists as a "low-hitting" version of the Focus Attack. It's extra-useful against crouching opponents and very small opponents. *Regarding the projectile hitting sound, I wasn't 100% sure if it was a hit or just the projectile bursting away, hence why you hear both the hitsound and the guardsound when guarding. But yeah, I guess it's actually more a hit sound than the projectile bursting away...also, the red collision during the attack frame of Energy Spark probably has a reason there, because Rober-Pasta had that as well, and Rober-Pasta was started by D The Red Cloak (but I still did a lot of work in his Rober, since his Rober was very alpha). I also buffed the damage now. *Fixed both the crouching strong kick and the crouching strong punch. *Regarding the Focus Attack sending someone into an invalid state, I think I know why that happens: p2stateno = ifelse(animexist(50103),1049,1039) He goes straight to 1049, even if the anim 50103 doesn't exist. That should NOT happen, though, because he was supossed to go to 1039, if he doesn't have anim 50103. And frankly, I have no idea, why MUGEN ignores that... *Fixed. I think I also fixed the landing lag lack now (I don't know yet because I never could perform multiple Spinning Tornados in fast sucession). *Fixed the sound problem. The lack of blue collisions is intentional, though. After all, it is an EX attack that takes away power, so it needs an advantage that is more than just more hits and damage. *Regarding Spinning Vacuum, if you're refering to the vacuum effect, I currently have no intention of making it stronger, unless enough people will ask for that. Regarding Rober Pasta, I will only go to the unique problems, since they are unique to Rober (if Rober has a something that Goho Li has, then the thing I said about Goho li also applies to Rober Pasta). 1. Fixed both. 4. I made his EX version like that on purpose. However, I now increased his landing lag. 5. Fixed the block damage and sound issues with them (that also fixed the sound problem with Break Upper, since Break Upper uses the same landing state like EX Spinning Wave Kick). The Debug Flood needs more investigation, though. 7. Everything fixed there. 8. Okay, I now tried to fix as many problems as possible by a combination of hitbox changing, hitvels, timings (the hitbox is now only for 2 ticks, so opponents wont get hit too late by the starting kick) and added the transformation sounds. There still may be problems, especially with too small opponents (because who the hell would make a character extra small anyway?). 9. That's sadly the only avaible image, and the attack wont work without the image either (the player HAS to know that the opponent's spine is broken). However, envshake is added now. Will upload both character updates as soon as the Focus Attack problem is fixed. Why does p2stateno ignores the ifelse brackets?

Fixed the problem with the release sound repeating by just remapping it to the player state instead of the helper state. *Fixed the problem with the landing sound *Okay, I seriously cannot replicate the problem you get with the EX Dragon Punch. I just can't. I already tried 20 times complete with pausing, both when the opponent was on the ground and when the opponent was in the air, and each hit is done on a seperate frame in all cases. ---------------------- Okay, now it's TxPot's turn: Basically, what I'm doing right now is a custom style, that is based on Street Fighter 4, but doesn't follow Street Fighter 4 style strictly. 1+2. Whoops, fixed. 4. While Goho Li being able to chain weak attacks into itself is intentional (she really needed a good comboability with her being the starter character and all), but 11 hits by just mashing is not intentional. I also cannot recreate it (I only get up to 5 hits). 5. Well, I left the String Kick like that, because I didn't saw anything wrong with it, but after chaning hitvels, it definitely looks better now (it now has a keepaway function of sorts). I also fixed the Strong Punch now, so now the opponent should be able to recover. 6. Fixed everything except the Air Strong Kick. I think the hitbox should stay there since it is already impractical in its own right and has a small hitbox, and I really don't want to make that attack downright useless either. 7. Intentional, since they are weak anyway. Besides, you can only hit with them twice anyway (I know that because I tested that). 8. Funny thing you mention Ryu's throw, because I tried to replicate just that (because Goho Li is the Ryu of the NES Street Fighter 4). But yeah, the last two frames are actually me sleeping on my job, because they were supossed to be flipped...but now it's fixed! 9. Nope, and I found out why: It's because of a fuck up in the triggers...but it's fixed now, alongside any sound problems with the Energy Sparks. 10. Originally, I only added that, so Goho Li can have a move that Ryu doesn't have. However, I have no updated it by not only fixing the sound problem and the lack of start-up invulnerability, but also decided what it should do: Weak Rising Dragon Kick keeps it launchability in order to be a keep-away with extra-power, while Strong Dragon Kick has less launchability, but more damage. 11. That "lack of shading" is my attempt at CvS-style shading that DuckSS suggested to me. Unless someone will provide me with a better-shaded version, these sprites wont change, because this is the best I can do shading-wise. But I did fixed the landing problem. Currently extending the hitboxes. 12. Fixed the problems with the sound (and found out that Rober Pasta had the same sound problems...). However, I cannot seem to fix the blocking glitch. It happens for no reason, because I used the same hit settings like the previous two characters (Bunny Tracy and Rober Pasta), yet their Focus Attack is unblockable like normal. Also, you cannot charge the Focus Attack, because Focus Attack charging in general has been left out on purpose (at least that's a system staple from D The Red Cloak). EDIT: Just found the reason why it is blockable...man, I feel stupid for missing that... -_- 13. Fixed all problems there. 14. Decreased the powerget there. However, I really don't see a problem with the vacuum effect. I mean, not everything has to be 100% accurate to Ryu, if that's not the real Ryu. EDIT: Goho Li and Rober Pasta updated! Have fun! ;)

Wait, Death Tower? Never heard of it... :-/ Also, your freeze idea is good (will use for Icicle Torpedo EX and Polar Shotgun EX and maybe Arctic Discharge EX, but only if Arctic Discharge will get an EX version to begin with). Also, who's Auron from Final Fantasy X (too lazy to google right now), and will his voice fit Houbot? Because unlike M.Bison, Houbot is actually a normal person (who just happens to have ice powers). -

Oh my god, the link is down already?! Okay, that will take a while because I'm a bit at the lazy side when it comes to reuploading stuff I made without an update. I really hope I will be able to host my creations at Alexei's website soon. That way, my stuff will never be offline. EDIT: Reuploaded it on the release thread.
