  1. You have to open the character and manually modify the palettes that are stored in the SFF. 0) Back up the SFF for the character. Travesties happen. 1) So open up whichever character in Fighter Factory 3. You're going to want the newest version for this. 2) Go to sprites mode and open up the advanced palette editor. 3) Down at the bottom above the left palette pane, you should see a slider that starts on "1,1". That's the first palette. Select the palette you want to change. 4) Open a the palette that you want in this slot (Open palette from a file...). [Top left button.] 5) Save by pushing "Commit changes to current palette..." [bottom left button.] 6) Repeat until finished. Save SFF. Now you're done.

  10. Once upon a time I was kinda sad and annoyed with this release. I was greedy and foolish. I thought that a ROTD character would suck. I was so dumb. This character is sick.
  11. I didn't mean the palette in the photo. I mean his actual default. I know I seem like it, but I'm not actually such a jerk that I'd hate on the palette separation example.
  12. Sure it does. I'm just that disappointed. I'm pretty sure I've had a Terry with this exact moveset before. The only difference is that it uses the SVC stance and his gloves are black.

Can we have a SVC-ish Terry that doesn't suck. The only one that exists has incorrectly imported sprites (which is ironic since it's the same guy that RIPPED them) and a shit Power Dunk.
  14. The US names are definitely a better fit. Vega is a Spanish word/name. Balrog is an ugly monster thing. And M.Bison...uhh...whatever. He looks like some kinda communist or something, so his name could be just about anything. So anyways...back on topic. I don't really get this. Is this supposed to be SFEX Claw? It has EX moves like SF3 and it's definitely not MVC. And wtf SFA3 PSX sprites? It's actually scaled right, but it's not using cns scaling. @_@

  16. In options, if you disable chain combos, it's very much like CVS-ish. MVC characters have short command supers (QCF+PP) , air combos, etc, and don't have roll, charge, custom combo.
  17. Oh happy day. *edit* Really cool, but powerful. Despite being nerfed, he's still boss material compared to other CVS-ish characters.
  18. I won't ignore your post. And no I didn't know that (because I never bothered to think about it) but it doesn't help any. I can't like a character that's designed to be unlikable.
  19. Part of me is excited for the chance to add another new Capcom character. They're like 25% of my roster tops after all. But then I remember it's stupid ass Rufus and I lose interest. Seriously, Capcom. Can we have a character that isn't a complete loser or genetically mutated monstrocity?
  20. You don't want to do that. Editing common1.cns is not a solution for your problem. It's probably complaining because your SFF uses the wrong palette numbering. You should use 1,1 for the main sprite palette, although I think 0,0 works too. Actually, if the character palette functions properly (ie you can pick multiple palettes and get the one you want) then it really doesn't matter.
  21. Import a sprite, edit/rearrange the palette and save the resulting palette so that the background color is the first color (and thus transparent). Then when you important the rest of the sprites, tell FF3 to adapt the sprite to that palette and it should work. If that's impossible, your sprites are crap and need to be modified so that the background is a unique color. The fact that you said it has a white background does not make me optimistic.

  23. Yawn. This is a tired concept. Maybe I didn't make a CVS Yusuke (whoever that is) or do a ton of custom sprite work, but I've made several other characters and, funny enough, bothered to finish them or at least consider them finished. That probably describes 99% of mugen creators that post their stuff on the internet. On the other hand, Chuchoryu never finishes anything. He just cranks out all these betas and lets them collect dust. He probably has over 20 characters that are decidedly unfinished now. There's probably not even enough capable people interested enough to finish them for him.
  24. In Bare Knuckle 3, you fight Shiva in green palette with a better move set than the stage 1 boss. There is no "shirtless Shiva" unless you play some kinda PC remake. I don't remember if he uses the green palette or not in Streets of Rage 3.
  25. I remember looking into ripping some QoD stages, but it was such a pain in the ass that I gave up. Good job.
