I've followed the tutorials to a T and it didn't work, then I had to settle on putting the file components into the data folder itself and that didn't work 
please help!

Not trying to stir drama here, but as I researched, it seems that the stuff mugen archive has done are beyond acceptable. They tried to DDOS and hack this site, spam misinformation and propaganda, and many more. While we are definitely different people from them, shouldn't we do something to take them down in a legal way and maybe claim all their resources so peoples doesn't have to stay in their extremely toxic environmment? Eventually Dizzy need to get retribution for all he's done.

Except that you ARE trying to stir up drama.
The best way to "deal" with MA is to do nothing and don't give them attention. Don't let them live rent free in your head, simple as that.

hello, i'm wanting to make a mugen character sprite sheet, i already have gimp and i am using an old desktop computer so now the only issue i have is figuring out how to make the character sprites/sprite sheet and i would seriously appricciate any and all advice/example's/tutorials/instruction's.

Y'know, that @DS12 guy has a point. You'll be wasting everyone's time from constantly testing the characters just to check for bugs and fixes. I doubt that you'll ironed out ALL the flaws before the so-called 'Final release', because all those glitches tell everyone in the Mugen community that you still never listen to their criticisms and just release them in a rush. Tell me, did you listen to the people who wanted to make your characters better, or did you just ignore them like a plague of locusts? If so, you're not paying attention to what they have to say because I presume you didn't know how to take criticism properly. Therefore, you didn't put enough effort to fix them. Which in turn, gives people the impression of you having no idea how to create even a simple Mugen character in the first place.
 
HOWEVER, as it is the only version of Ed to be (almost) fully functional, I'll be lenient to you and let it slide down. After all, a flawed character is better than an awful character. Next time, take their responses to your heart and pour it in to your characters. The whole world would do favours to you if you just listen to everyone's words (including mine).

As far as I made seven palletes for Marie but otherwise, it gets me a bit intricate to finish at least five palletes. Can anyone suggest any palletes for her?
