  3. After quite some time, I finally finished shaping this background. I really liked the final result; it's like a dark, menacing, and oppressive volcanic cave. It conveys a sinister and ancient feeling, with the fiery bottom and the anthropomorphic statues creating an atmosphere of impending doom and underworld power.   12. @Supercar11 The Iceberg Lounge has been finished for a while and I've kept it private. But I've had the go-ahead from my collaborator to make a public release.   13. YoDog made a handful of nice mock-ups and sketches, with a strong desire to team up. So we'll probably end up doing some more collaborative stages. He usually handles the concept, the sketch, and the main sprites. I take care of the code, polish the details, and add some new minor sprites.   14. New year, new fresh MKP available to play. Chino96, following in the footsteps of Borg117 and the MKP team, developed and polished this project over the past year. He simplified some mechanics, updated the sprites of older chars, added new chars, new reactions to special moves, new fatality states, "Test Your Might" bonus game, Endurance battle in towers, Tag Team mode, background hazards & interactions, new stages, and many more... It also includes an MKP Configuration system (MKP_Configuration.exe) to enable or disable various parameters, modify animations, difficulty, and further customize the gaming experience.   17. This stage began with an AI-generated image and the isolation of a main element. It was then redrawed and worked on in pixel art, finally completed with an environment edited from ripped sprites. The result was a kind of desolate, mountainous wasteland on the slope of a large, demonic rock, which I had already shown here.   18. I discarded this concept a long time ago because the main line trees is out of scale for the CAPCOM-ish style, meaning it looks a bit small. But now that I have rediscovered it, I realized that I quite like the partially dreamlike atmosphere it has and I'm going to try to expand the grove to make it look taller. Or even rework the entire forest. Mai Shiranui will not be part of the stage.
  19. Other sketches were left behind along the way but I never definitively discarded them. Almost all the sprites are ripped from various well-known CAPCOM games. And the central pharaonic statue is a pic treated with the PIXELATOR app. Everything looks pretty solid but basic at the same time. This one was a commissioned background that didn't progress well. And is also quite similar to others stages I've already released. It has a certain temporal ambiguity that fits with a past or modern vibe.
  20. There is currently a playable beta version of Dagger with Cloak as an assistant, so it seemed appropriate to make a clean official version (No Guest / No Cameos) of this scenario. I also added new lighting effect layers, made minor adjustments to some values in the code, and add a new looped BGM. UPDATED STAGE DOWNLOAD
  21. Working on some random stuff. New environment concept. A sort of barren, mountainous wasteland on the side of a large demonic rock. That giant head is AI-generated and then pixelated; I think it still needs some polishing. Does anyone remember the arcade game Arm Champs II? Anyway, a while back I ripped the background sprites, which have a CAPCOM-ish vibe. So I'm trying to turn it into a MUGEN/IKEMEN stage. Here is an early sketch. Ryu and Sagat are just there for reference purposes.
