  1. I already have that one, thanks for the help anyway. I mean't a well made one. (Doesn't even need to be accurate, Neo Liza is anything but accurate and I love her.) I just don't like this Rila for a series of reason, some can be seen here:
  2. F'Yeah, now we just need a Rila from Breakers and I will finally have my Wild Amazonian Team.
  3. It's sad. Let's just lock this thread allready, there's nothing to add to it. It have 5 straight off-topic responces after a necrodump. Please, someone, lock it.
  4. The changelog just points out snd, pal and portrait change. So no, it's even close to an edit, it's more of a swap. A swap named SF4 Decapre for some random reason, because nor the voices nor the gameplay is SF4.
  5. Hehe, my "shittybox" notebook have one of the worst processors I've ever seen, it can't handle mugen full speed whit a resolution higher than 600x800.
  6. Thanks for the info, I need to create some shame and play disgaea, I just need to fix my ps2.
  7. Who the hell is this Neko? It looks like a younger version of felicia. Is this a closed beta or just some char I don't know?
  8. I said that in my post. It was right at the end. Only dump old things when you have something relevant, not to revive an argument. What he did there was just argueing semantics of a long dead subject. So yes, it was really a necrodump.
  9. Nor did the guy who've made The Black Heart, but it was his work, for free or not, it was his work. Just like Chucho. So being paid or not doesn't mean you can't be professional about something. I was a mod, I took it seriously, and had a professional behavior, so yeah. If you're take your hobbies with care and diligence, you're being professional anyway. Also, don't necrodump topics, this one was more than a week old, and didn't needed to be dumped just to revive a dead discussion. Dump old topics only when there are real news.
  10. I hate misleading names. They're incredbly crappy people for making this kind of click bait character. Specially that it doesn't even have the USF4 voices, so, a complete waste of time. When I say they should do quality control and have too much of a yes man attitude and should stop that, they are the victims. Man this one got me really pissed off. This is what happens when you let them go unchallenged. It's not us being mean, it's to prevent this kind of thing from happening. This is completely mean spirited on their part. Where's Laharl's righteous fury, we need him right now. Purge those vile creatures back to the abyss.
  11. Yey! MMV never fails to let down. And when someone gets angry at then, we are the villians.
  12. It's not necessary to keep up with every update. I generally download updates at most trimestrally. Unless it's a big thing, like Beta to Stable or Full Remake, I don't have the need to update constantly. It's very common for asian developers to create then constantly, but mostly are just fixes. Brazilian developers work more on a version basis. They update it to testers, and when there's enough changes, he release a public update. Other latino american makers generally work on the big update basis. I see the modus operandi of the creator and decide if it's necessary to update the collection. An exception is when a new char is released with a update combo for other chars. Generaly it's a compatibility update, and as such, I update it to fit everyone.
  13. Great, we all agree, now let's return to the regular programing.
  14. Thanks for the info Brock. I suspected that he and the others are nice people, or else, he and CVSArtist wouldn't be having that much friends and defenders. I know that because of the BugAll Error incident, where no one defended the EvilSlayerX5 because he acted pretty much like an asshole. I just want to point out that it still doesn't excuse the quality of the chars. People will keep not believing Chucho and Co. until they show the gold. Finally releasing a mass update is a good step. Not much have changed, but he's actually getting the time to fix something, and it's already a start. But remember, people don't need to like the chars or the work of a creator simply because of his personal behavior. Being nice have nothing to do with the quality of the work, so people don't have to act like they like it. And also, just because you don't like the work of someone this means it's ok to attack them on a personal level (this is for the toxicity that sorrounds the mugen comunity). I know I have shown my distaste of Chucho as a creator of content, but that is the extent of my dislike for him. And everyone else should act accordingly. If he is a nice guy personaly, great, at a personal level, he will get my respect, but at a professional level, not so much.
  15. :3 Oh Fuck! There goes the non-hentai part. It's polite to refer to transexual by their desired gender. So, if it's female looking, refers to her as a she. (Don't ask me why I know a lot about the LGBT scene) Also: I believe Juda is actually Metro. But, well, close enough. The real drag is Egith from Rabbit: Egith is very close to the drag movement, representing the Skag part of the movement. He is actually heterossexual, but use a combination of male and female symbology over his body. The beard, the lipstick, the muscular torso, the high heels. Everything in the name of the clash. Also, no surprise, he is a Grappler. Grapplers, defying the status quo since the 90's.
  16. Hehe, I know I am! But serious now, I loved the idea, we need a more diverse set of original characters (there's way too much pre pubescent girls on mugen) and a transexual character that's not a hentai character is a good call. Kuando was a good character on that front, representing a more sexualy agressive bissexual. Or even the metrosexual muay thay guy that I allways forget the name. Now we just need a drag queen and we can say we have a more diverse cast than Dead of Alive, hehehehe. Also, I love Grapplers. LET'S HUG! ALL DAY! ALL DAY! ALL DAY!
  17. Lord M, let's not discuss semantics here. It's a way of making enemies for no reason other than to look like a douchbag. And if you're so willing to throw definitions around, by the Mugen Fighters Guild categorizing convention, held by most of the community as normal standard, you're actually completely wrong. There are actually way more categories, and they are the following: Swap: Carries most assets from the original, grafical changes. (Evil Homer (To Evil Ken by Reuben Kee)) Clone: Carries the gameplay from the original with minor differences, have different sprites. (Sakura to Ryu) Special Version: Sprites are carried from the original, custom or original gameplay. (Briaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan by Ahuron) Special Gameplay: Same sprites, custom system. (Rajaa's Characters) Special Edit: Same sprites, custom moves. (Goro Daimon by Sander 71113) Special Edited Version: Edited sprites from the original, custom gameplay optional. (God Rugal by Jin) Original: Original sprites, original gameplay. (Ella by AIDUZZI) Original Version: Original sprites, carries some gameplay, custom or different system optional. (The Kung Fu Man by OGGY) Original Edit: Edited sprites, original gameplay. (Ubu by AIDUZZI) Conversion: Converted for Mugen. (Any acurrate character) Special Conversion: Converted for Mugen with existing sprites no represented on the original source. (Athena XIII (XI Style)) Original Conversion: Converted for Mugen with original sprites. (Skullomania by SeanAlty) So could you please stop pushing your obscure or invented definitions on the forum? Also, starting fights for futile reasons like the category of a character? Really?
  18. Someone please fix the link. It's wrong, redirecting to an inexistent page. the right one is this one: http://misaode.ojaru.jp/
  19. The None is allways a source of uncommon fun. Like his Strawbelly Jam. It's so ridiculous that it's awesome.
  20. The link is down, could someone reup? Preferebly on 4shared or Mediafire
  21. Well, by the looks of the details in her animations, I can guess he went beyond just filtering and manually corrected some details, it's possible to see that the shadow on har knees have a finer line than the filter would allow. That's why it looks good.
  22. April fools is over so I should just point out what is the catch. Kega: Not a catch, it's just that it's still an early beta and have mostly the bare bones of what the character will have when complete. Oyaji: This one is a funny one, he is untangible and his special don't cause any damage, but his normals do, so be cautious.
  23. Well, if you're interested, there's a huge community of suport for sprite filtering. There're some projects going on and you can see then here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hqx (I'm just sending the Hqx series because that's the filter who works best on SD sprites) Here's an example: The one program I was referencing when talking about "tweeking" is this one: https://bitbucket.org/Tamschi/hqxsharp/overview It can be easily tweeked by playing around with the sliders. Maybe, some time later I can ask the source code of the GUI so I can use it to convert images on mass. If you want to have options on the type of filter, you can download this one: http://code.google.com/p/2dimagefilter/downloads/detail?name=2dImageFilter-r27.dll&can=2&q= The only downside is that it don't have the tweeking option of the other one. But you can still get good results, like this one: I find this one better in therm of detailsXbackground. It blends way better. Also, there's Image Magick, the one I've used on the example of the earlier post. It's a simple executable that can be automated using scripts because of it's command lines parameters. You can find it here: http://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/resize/ Some sprites will still need to be manually fixed later. I find it kind of anoying that I found most of it in the spam of a single hour, with no help and just out of curiosity, have a few years, because I was trying to develop a game, and the guys who did the IMT Filtering Marathon couldn't even do that.
  24. I know what you're saying Borewood. I've met some cases of the most absurd calliber. I remember one time where a group complained that a megaman had color separation from his armor and cloth. Because MVC didn't have this color separation, and as such it had to be exactly like MVC, so, no cloth and armor of different colors, no more than one hue, shading only, final destination. Even when the change actually improve the character people will find a way to bitch about it. Just be happy. Atleast those creators are trying to improve, that is more than can be said about some other guys.
