  1. The sprites need really big improvements, because his arms completely change proportion at any time given, Not counting his legs, that suffer from elastic length. Looks like they used too much different bases for the sprites. I'm not really into the gameplay of mugenmultiverse releases, so i will pass talking about it.

  4. Well, i believe the great problem most people really have about IMT is their moto quantity over quality. You know, in the guild you can just enter, download the character, leave your feedback and exit. But on IMT no matter how many times you tell then that it could be better, they still keep doing the same, because everyone there will compliment the character no matter the quality. It's less about being a dick of a community, and more of being the angering mass of affirmative attitude. IMT is just that spoiled kid that don't improve because his parents keep praising him no matter what happen. He may no be a jerk, but it doens't mean it is good.

  6. You just need to rename the file and put the same name on the st3 on the def. Simply removing will make some of his states stop working.
  7. I dunno about you, but I can't see the GENERIC part on him. He is generally a good conversion, a little stiff but still good. His new moves are really good into fitting the character itself and i'm glad that he don't turn into a shotoklone like a lot of versions of the char. With the exception of the EX mode, that look like a homage to Sheng Long, but it lacks the double hadouken. I simply don't know what you where expecting for the char, he is exactly what I was expecting since I became aware of the project. Infinite is not the guy that will reinvent a character or break new ground in his vision. Most of his characters are just a mix of the various VS styles keeping the general attack set, or the more classic ones. I believe that the problem with Laharl and everyone else is that they where simply expecting something way outside of the project intention. You know, it's not supposed to be a pleasant surprise like CVS Bluestreak. It have always been a conversion of a character to the Infinite system.

The video took away my will of dl'ing him because of the hat throw aerial combo, this can generate situations on VS mode where if you got more health the enemy, you can just do a super jump and stay afloat chaining the hat throws and most characters will not be able to lay a finger on him, specially chars without super jump. This may look cool in the mind of the author, but it just make the character annoying, specially because it's a very spammeable attack thanks to the zero cooldown after the attack, and the fact that it hit while coming back. And this is something that is very common to all speedster based characters made to mugen. Hell, Flash Barry Allen/Wally West is annoying as hell, cause he have 3 spammable attacks with wide range and zero cooldown. The least bad is Quick Silver. Man, I know he is a speedster, but hell, look at Injustice: GAU, they made a Flash that look fast without being cheap as hell.

  12. I'm not going to say anything about the char itself because the comments completely took my will to download it. But about the source character. I really dislike Lightning as a character (Dislike, not Hate, Vanilla is the one i hate). Lightning is heavily one dimensional, by being most of the time a badass ice queen in place of having any personality trait, and suddenly going into moody bursts at random times. Look, if she at least got some sudden traits on her personality i would swallow her existence, but most of the time she look like someone trying to emulate the worst traits from Cloud and Squall (Cloud at least had the "The Happy Me was not me but someone else inside me" thing) and creating a character that don't show any kind emotion between being completely centered on her mission and completely hopeless. Hell, on Dissidia 012, she was even blander then F'ing Warrior of Light, the guy whose main reason of existence is to be a completely blank tool of justice. Never trusting anyone because "Oh!, You are not dedicating yourself to the mission enough" isn't a proper way of doing conflicts in the history, specialy when the character in question go most of it's own campaign fighting members of it's own team, you know, causing they to not be able to dedicate themselves to their mission. I'm not going to say anything about her being a mary sue, because nowadays, most protagonists may fit into this category. It's a law or something. But she really lack any deep value. And thanks to the way FF13 gameplay is made, every single character in the game is completely interchangeable. I can't believe how they could go so backwards with their gameplay.

  14. To disable the AI from Kuron's chars, you just need to open their -3 states and search for a AI state and change the trigger with the palno != 6 to anything null.
  15. Agreed, it looks like they where glued to the background with photoshop. But i must admit, those aren't looking bad, but yet, don't justify a download. Yah'know, if they wheren't just sff packs, but real chars, with something different then to ones i already have, i would give then a try, but i'm alread battling space within my hard drive (The chars folder is weighting 53 gb, only to give a idea hehehe). EDIT.: Obvious Exception: Leo's abs and feets.
  16. WTFAAAAACK? How, how they messed this one this bad, pay attention to the connection of his leg to the crotch, the filter got so wrong that his but is lower than his crotch, making him like a geriatric patient.
  17. Agreed, Kuron is a perfect example of that, he made some of the most accurate CB chars out there and they all are based on kong's. You just need to figure out how to turn off their AI's (Just look for into the -3 cns file and search for the state [state -3,AI] and replace the trigger related to the pal 6 to always be true or different of 6)
  18. Very true Mugourth, and i'm a very patient guy to problematic chars. I had the trouble to fix every single nijikaku character in my folder and every time i see a character with batshit insane commands (read a guile landing a sonic boom with qcf+p or a wolverine doing a shoryuken attack with qcb+p) i go on and fix the moves commands and reorder with some slight fixes to the commands priority to work correctly. But hell, when i downloaded the Cyberbots chars from kong, i simply snapped and promised myself to never download anything made by kong ever again. But even though, there is a very large number of programmers there, some being at least above average, and a real few of really good guys, but most of the time it looks like the whole community of IMT seen to insert their heads into their asses and become unreachable to criticism.
  19. I know about then, and love then completely, INFINITY is a very competent guy, but he just does a MVC styled thing whit most of then. I'm dreaming of someday finding a Shadow Beast in the same style of the amazing Shadow Sumo, this sort of out of common edits make my day. Hell, some time in the past (read 4 years in the past and before I got into a University) I even tried creating a ELEMENTAL DHALSIM based on the whole concept that the RYU from MVC used. The whole idea of the attacks where written down and i even came with some crazy shit. But thanks to my lack of time nowadays, i've never had that much time to learn programing on mugen. (I'm a system analyst btw) But on my free time I draw and edit sprites just for fun.
  20. Dude, i'm mostly disapointed with this whole situation. You know, they simply decide to make a FILTER MONTH, god, IMT is each day diving even more into the quantity over quality idea. You know, with this whole LETS FILTER vibe of then, they would be making MAD PALLET SWAP fest, toying with the concept of different attacks/same sprites that Capcom and SNK love. Hell, Shadow Lady from MVC is still one of the characters I love the most in the game because of the creative and strange use of her sprites (Thank You MGMURROW for the kick in the balls with that one). Everytime I see a pallete swap nowadays, it mostly belong to some shotokan, kula, len or SNK bosses. Some are very good might i say, but why there is never a edit of Blanka, Goro Daemon, MK Characters that don't belong into the 3 Ninja categories. Hell, there is the AGP, that make such a crazy proposal, that make the whole idea funny as hell (Like the Projectile) even though it only uses Gouki as a base. I remenber there being a Edit of Dee Jay in the pre-history of MUGEN, hell, DEE JAY, can you grasp that, even this guy got into the fun. I know that this means that they would need to work more then just "extract the SFF, pass the filter in every image, import the SFF, release" but hell, they have people there that code the most atrocious things without any know how or beta testing because of pure lazyness (I hate Kong everyday, specialy because he doesn't know any special move that don't is a quarter circle), so it don't mean they have that much more trouble pulling this s**t than what they are already doing. They would not be great characters I admit, but at least, they would turn something funnier then sprite swaps.

  22. He is like a mashup of kazuya/heihachi/ryu from sfxt And his rage mode is a machup from heihachi/mrkarate. I you've never played sfxt it's hard to explain.
