Hi-res is overrated and it always looks awful if it isn't done by a paid professional. I say stick to low-res, it looks great if done right, it is the most widely used, and it's much easier and faster than the alternative...well usually all this is true, there are some exceptions of course but typically all this is generally true.

Well the armor detail is fantastic. Easily your best work.

Falling animations are now complete. Next will be the basic attacks, starting with punching perhaps. Before I start coding this character, I'm gonna attempt to try and update my Goku first so as I can use the character as a base for this WIP. The less often i have to re-code something the easier these WIPs will be. I may attempt beam struggles again and ki parry and such. I'd also like to ditch the charging energy technique. It really is a terrible mechanic for a fighter to have. Perhaps i can reuse that somewhere-else in a non combat situation? I'm so excited about making another DBZ WIP! Finally i can get an addiional character for my game's roster. I've been also thinking about Frieza 100% maximum power; maybe just a single sprite to see how it could look. I saw this in the webcomic and I think this would be appealing for Frieza! It's a fan make of Frieza having another form like Cooler! I could maybe work him into my story for the game? Though I'm not sure if I prefer this one or the 100% version in the Frieza saga? In any case this will probably be a WIP for way later into the future. There's just too much to do right now and i don't know when I'll get tired again. :/

Heh. I'm betting you're noticing the little touches in skin texture. I noticed piccolo had very lizard rough skin where you can see line crease details. I put a lot of little detail in this, some stuff I learned when i worked on M.O.D.O.K. :P After all this I may add some blood and ripped clothing to before release. The Extreme Butoden rips are too awesome! This namek WIP is definitely exceeding my expectations. I can't wait to code this just to see it in my roster fighting other characters. I am crossing my fingers for a sequel to this 3DS game. If i can get more rips then I can do way more character project possibilities. I'd like to do Great kaioshin if I can get some Extreme Butoden Shin sprites. Just combine that with Buu's sprites and Bingo! Great kaioshin!!! maybe some Dabura sprites could help to? Higher Res DBZ mugen is so awesome! I'm glad it's finally here.

Okay i finished these now. Blocking and getting hit are complete. Next will be the falling sprites and then after that I can finally get started on the basics, the 6 button attacks!!! I'm also looking for a voice to rip. I'll be checking out animes and old cartoon shows. I know I can find something really cool out there, maybe from a disney movie even XD

Update: I finally got cracking on those basics and finished a set of sprites for this wip to get started. I might recolor the pants down the line to be more vivid like the body portions. The next set will be blocks and get hits. I may scale him up so he's kinda giant sized. Right now he is about Broly's height but I think he might be taller though? I'm not sure???

I know, I was just saying that it was hard to tell at times because they nearly look identical when moving around so fast and they practically have the same palette. Making a video like this was hardly a good idea. It was hard to keep track of the edit versus the old version. Next time paint one of them with a different color, like yellow or something; preferably the older release.

List has been updated with deadpool and batman! I'm considering Rojin's taskmaster as he had a lot of hype before release, though not sure if it's absolutely big enough on the mugen scene? I'm definitely considering some of the ryus and kens and akumas/gouki's with angel/god/dark/evil/orochi/ghost/phantom/angry versions; since they were a huge collector's item for many years and probably still are. That's all i could remember at Mugen Fighters Guild, Infinity Mugen Team and Mugen Infantry at the time. They were flooded with these characters and youtube mugen was mostly about these versions. I read a few mentions here on evil ryu and evil ken, perhaps these were the most popular out of the bunch? I'll have to consult the fans a bit more and find out more info to be certain of this before they are added to this fantastic mugen list. Thank you everyone for contributing these fine choices.

Way better! Man that hulk was a beast. Poor vegeta. Also good to see choujin vegeta. It's so easy to forget about these great characters. it was good to see him fighting again.solid character.

The Hidden Elect became accepted me while the elite rejected us. Unlike the elite, we all shared what we had and supported each other. They talk about community but they don't know the meaning of the word! It was even sweeter when newer creators came out of the blue and were making stuff even better. So much so that everyone pretty much forgot about them. The Elite couldn't even leave their forums to join the rest of the community because they believed they were unique. They wanted privacy and in an ironic twist, that's what they got.

LOL It's like we're on the same boat. Yes, I made it known that I'm just tired now. I can't even hardly create something without saying to myself, "what are you doing, you're too old to do this and too tired, let the younger crowds figure this out". I get the same feeling from other veterans like Cyanide and Acey. I became aware of the community mindset long ago and I still choose to risk a ban anyway for the sake of embracing the mugen principals that shaped me. I'm the product of The Hidden Elect that still lives to terrorize the community LOL Like the elitist of our day once said, "your characters are belonged to us" Well i say, "Nay, they belong to ALL of us!"

I may be like you at this point where i just really don't care anymore. I was even thinking of starting a blog to outlet my characters but this is way easier for the time being. I've been thinking to just upload on mugen archive and avoid posting comments all together. Maybe i will have to someday soon. I'm fine with everything, i guess i prefer it like this. Mugen should be about the characters anyway.

If Ryon does, i understand and will not hold it against him. I've been banned everywhere PZT. I've always been the black sheep in mugen, from what i remember, you and darkmario666 didn't like me too much either back then from what i recall. LOL It was only a matter of time.

I might be asking for a ban here, lol, but... Banner or sprites, I would have let that go, just saying...I mean warehousing without consent from others and all, you should of let it slide. Just to preserve the MFFA motto of "caring is sharing, warehousing at its best". Maybe MFFA should create a peace treaty with Mugen Archive? You're both on the same side after all with the ideals you guys hold. I'm not well liked but you could send someone with mutual favor to get a dialogue going between you two. I had a hunch that this was like a retirement gift. I asked meself, "why give this to us now?" I haven't really seen you in the mugen scene for a long time. Last i remember of you, you had a forum named unleaded mugen, and then you were with DarkMario666 and were on some kind of smash brothers modding forum. I'm sure there are treasures in this folder; however mugen archive has some of the rarest and most hard to find content, spanning from the weakest of quality to the best and from just about every era. You ought to take it there to. MFFA has had some recent issues with server cost. I'm sure it will be fine but worst case scenario the unleaded collection should be sent there as well. I remember PZT, I came from The Hidden Elect. It is my first forum where i served Zodiac and where I learned the ways of warehousing and sprite stealing LOL Those were the good ol'days where warehousing merited a ban on every forum. I hope you archived Leech in there.
