  1. First of all, Gen does have specials. He has a setup tool, 236C in midair where he dives down and sets up stone debris. It's a low hit. He can then do 236C again once in proximity behind (and not in front of) the rock to cut it down as an additional attack. Another move using the rock is 214C where from anywhere in the stage he can hop onto it, then either jump off of it or do a lunging strike with C, which destroys the rock. Second, he is incomplete, which would be something to note considering most of these reports likely come from the MUGENキャラ作成 (MUGEN character creation) tag on niconico. Looking pretty awesome so far, digging his spritework.
  2. There's no "Nijikaku team", Nijikaku in itself is a collective community effort meant to be shared with everyone. Due to the anonymous nature of pretty much everyone who worked on it, the stance on using characters and their resources for other projects is mostly towards open source more than anything.
  3. No, that was Steven. jojozerox is the guy who made Rockman of Fight, a fullgame as old as dirt, but it's still pretty neat. It had instant kills done in somewhat ArcSys-ish manner, though.
  4. Somehow you don't know about NeatUnsou's Nu-13. Where the hell have you been? First of all, it's not about the combos. The characters themselves feel wrong, they have bad vels, no hitstun decay, have many animations that are botched, and they somehow manage to slow down 1.0 with too many conflicting helpers. Ragna gave off huge debug flood last I tried him too but you can live past that. But, even just watching them you know a lot of stuff is wrong, and I haven't even played CS2 much in a long time at that point. And say what you will about Speedy (you know as well as I do you can say a lot), at least his things don't try to emulate the system and manage to come way off the mark. EDIT: And why mostly Speedy's? At least he's taking an effort to learn and his Bang, while an incredibly mixed bag (decent ideas, execution all over the place (okay or terrible)) is already better than anything Kal has made. Mu was my limit.

  6. Didn't mean you, but really that post was easy to understand. Well, outside "lip service" I guess but you can imagine it was something like "flapping your gums" or something. The message was fairly clear.
  7. That wasn't the point he was making, though. He was saying that he was wondering if anyone here actually knew what they were talking about so he could know what to fix instead of seeing "AHAHAHA THIS CHAR SUX CUZ IT SUX RIGHT GUISE" And I have to say, I agree that it's all I've seen posted on here. No reasons, no actual feedback, just whatever this ClassicSuperSonic fellow has said that made me want to punch him in the face for such arrogant posting. If you really want someone to improve the quality of their product, don't shut them down from the get-go especially when the reasons are simply "why don't you try for yourself." Also Laharl that post was very easy to understand. I really fail to see what you guys are trying to do here besides laugh at the guy for looking as baseless criticism.
  8. Funny you should say that, for Spear Dee here is entirely custom! Also Laharl those are DS sprite rips from Kirby Super Star, not SNES. Drastic difference in style since everything's been redrawn to exceed the past color palette restrictions. The more you know~
