font.scale = 1,1 try .5? thats like half. or font.name.scale or font.win.scale and so on.

in the mugen.cfg ,there are some new settings. just go thru it and you will see some scaling settings to resolution stuff.

you can change your screen resolution in mugen.cfg
 
within the data folder.
 
also your mugen.cfg screen resolution must match the localcoord that is set in the system.def
 
or broken.def
whatever the system file for that pack is called.
