1990? I guess it's a bit later than that, since Cyber clearly has some sprites based on Sagat, Street Fighter II coming in 1991. I think MAME lists it coming from 199x? Meaning it's from the early 90's but the game is so obscure there is no data for it's release date.

I wrote 1990 instead of 1993 without noticing it. Fixed. Also Eteocles has the same body plan as Cyber

From what I know, there is also BBQ Pit Boy by Brergrsart, who was edited from Joey Faust's Nabonedo.

That might not count as its meant to be a different character entirely. Doesn't matter what the source was if the result is different.
