Actually, it's a Fake-Pokemon fighting game based on Smogon's Create-A-Pokemon project. Most of the characters except Vitalimar, Skullitoon and Cascavian are playable Pokemon on Pokemon Showdown.

 

I hope some characters get made in the future. ...Huh, if a character does get made, would it go into the Pokemon Collection as a Fakemon, or does that collection not count fakemon?

I believe that Matt only intends to add M.U.G.E.N conversions of real and official Pokémon to his collection here so I'm guessing if enough Fakemon are ever made for the engine in the future, they'll require a collection of their own.

I didn't like the game all that much, but it did have awesome stages, though. Nice to see some conversions!
