As it currently stands...

Gen I: 5 (6 if you count Shadow Mewtwo, 7 if you count Pikachu Libre, though one could argue it originates from Gen III)

Gen II: 1

Gen III: 3

Gen IV: 4
Gen V: 1

Gen VI: 1

Gen VII: 0 :P

 

Seems like Gen II, V and VI need a little more representation in the roster, though I guess that's not taking into consideration the support Pokémon.

Could have been useful for certain attacks instead of a winpose though.

I don't know whether to be grateful that we FINALLY get that key bulky defensive Pokemon or to be angry that it isn't basically any other bulky Pokemon besides Empoleon (who's not even that bulky looking, but still bulkier than almost everyone else in the roster. Sad :( ). I'd honestly rather have had just about most other bulky Pokemon, but I guess at least it's something.
