Macaulyn97 Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Everytime I try using his fatality during the Finish Him time (the command is F,D,DF + x), but every time I do it, he ignores the fatality and uses his D,F + x move. What do I do?
0 NotAGoodName Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Screw this. I'll fix this POS. brb *edit* lol, I did the fatality on the first try at both sizes. Ok, enough bragging. Back to work. *edit* Ok, that was easy. http://www.4shared.com/zip/b1DTGb8qce/a0sub1.html Also, it's not 100% compatible with cns scaling, but I'll leave it up to you. It's not like I go through all my Capcom characters and edit them for xscale = .833 even though I should.
0 Winmugen11 Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 You could try performing the fatality from different distances (close, medium and long range) because IIRC you can only pull off certain fatalities at certain distances in the official MK games. This signature would not have been possible without the combined efforts of Ryoucchi & Zenesis. All credit goes to them for making this!
0 Kaze No Ken Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Simply rewrite the set of buttons as you wish!
0 Ryon Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 i also think its distance based like in the actual games. - Characters - / - Stages - / - Screenpacks - / - Lifebars - / - Fonts - / - Full Games - / - Templates -
0 Macaulyn97 Posted April 11, 2014 Author Posted April 11, 2014 It is based on the games, I saw it being performed in video, its done close to the enemy (I tried in lots of distances, anyway). And I tried changing the command as well, to a command that isn't assigned to any move, but, well, he did nothing.
0 Werewood Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 I think it is the command timing thingy....... In ninja.cmd: I changed these: [Command] name = "kill" command = ~F,D,F,x time = 20 <========= changed from 60 ............ [Command] name = "sli" command = ~D, F, x time = 15 <========= added this line After the change, I could do Sub-Zero F,D,F,x Fatality with ease (oh you need to stand really close to P2 in the first place): "I still care to share because I believe in Sharing is Caring" - Werewood
0 Macaulyn97 Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 I changed both lines and it still doesn't work. He keeps using the slide punch. No other character had fatality problems in my MUGEN before.
0 dchan250 Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 I would just use OMEGAPSYCHO's Sub-Zero, as it is more accurate in every single way besides the fatalities and doesn't need to be done on a specific distance.
0 Macaulyn97 Posted April 20, 2014 Author Posted April 20, 2014 I use him already, I want to try Pneo's because its custom.
0 Werewood Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I changed both lines and it still doesn't work. He keeps using the slide punch. No other character had fatality problems in my MUGEN before. Hmmmmmmmmmmm..............but I could perform that Fatality without issue.........even when I am using my keyboard........ Anyway, then you may want to actually change the command for the custom "sli" move to something not containing the D,F motion, i.e. change it to command = ~D, B, x "I still care to share because I believe in Sharing is Caring" - Werewood
0 Macaulyn97 Posted April 25, 2014 Author Posted April 25, 2014 It didn't work. Borewood, can you send me your version? This could be an issue that was fixed in an update and maybe I don't have that updated version.
0 Werewood Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 It didn't work. Borewood, can you send me your version? This could be an issue that was fixed in an update and maybe I don't have that updated version. I got that from randomselect: http://randomselect.piiym.net/hosted/psubzero.htm Then I changed those timing in ninja.cmd for those two (2) commands name = "kill" and name = "sli": My modified ninja.cmd: https://www.mediafire.com/?vqq6d4egnggzx14 Once again: "I still care to share because I believe in Sharing is Caring" - Werewood
0 Macaulyn97 Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 Thanks, I'll try it. If it doesn't work again, I'll just give up.
0 Macaulyn97 Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 I performed only twice (first in the normal size, then in size 0.87x0.87 which is what I want). But it seems the range is so specific that I'd need to be in a range which is not exactly touching the other character, but a little more far, but still its too difficult. Is it too hard to code him to walk to the right place? (so I can perform the command anywhere)
0 NotAGoodName Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Don't use xscale and yscale to change his size. That will screw up a lot of stuff. It's probably your problem entirely. For 87% smaller, open the DEF and add a line under pal.defaults... localcoord = 362,lol
0 Macaulyn97 Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 But it is said in the readme file that I can do that. Pneophen coded him for work with it too. Also, I performed the fatality with the smaller as well.

(so I can perform the command anywhere) its not to hard, but at the same time i remember you don't understand coding that much. you basically need to make another state PRIOR to the fatality state that makes him walk to position then, change to fatality state. - Characters - / - Stages - / - Screenpacks - / - Lifebars - / - Fonts - / - Full Games - / - Templates -
