Noooope, i made them myself. It's just coincidental. How exactly same? I'm pretty sure there's few difference. That Nick Fury image requested by CLManiac, he brought the image and i did the justice turning it into a port.

 

I render images by free selection tool over gimp, that's not quite tricky, time consuming is it but it'll be a piece of cake if you've used to do it everyday.

while dont have them both side by side, whatever looks pretty identical to me.

 

anyway...

 

how does this render in gimp work exactly? what i do currently is open whatever up in paint.net, use magic wand to remove the BG, then if need be remove individual pixels. then take it over to PS and index, where sometimes need to mess with pixels again.

Never use magic wand.

 

There's this tool called free selection tool, all you have to do is select the edges of the image one by one, and cut it if all selections done. It's like cutting an image with scissors, no stray pixel will be left.

paint.net dont have anything like that, and i dont know if PS does or not due to my main uses for it are indexing and direct pcx editing.

 

though how is selecting the edge any less time consuming than the process i mentioned (no snark, remember, zero familiarity with the process you mentioned)

I didn't said it's not time consuming (it takes a lot of time and patience) but, the result will worth it.

Good work as always Ryoucchi, although I must ask : why did you remake the Super Buu portrait? In my eyes it was just fine. Also while I'm very grateful you remade the Ultimate Gohan portrait in high quality, I was hoping you'd make it just like your original first attempt for his portrait but then in high quality. Could you, if this is not too much to be asked anymore, do his portrait one last time please?
