I included a custom bgm, because Rising Eclipse doesn't have a soundtrack.

 

 

You might notice a small enormous black spot at the bottom right of the screenshot. It's actually  source-accurate.

Get the program 2dk2nd_sprite_sound_ripper from http://www.4shared.com/rar/j5Glbs0E/2dk2nd_sprite_sound_ripper.html

 

Get a .player, .stage or .demo file from any FM2002 game, and drag it into the executable.

 

 

The sprites and sounds are yours. It's this simple.

Some files may crash the sprite & sound file making some characters and stages unrippable.

 

But, it may be possible to open these files in Fighter Maker 2k2 editor if you manage to use a hex editor which allow them to be opened since most games are often encrypted.

 

By the way, if the files get japanese words, then you'll be forced to rename them with roman characters, otherwise the rip will fail.

 

That's a pretty interesting stage, by the way.
