I think that's going a little too far. I have a theory that in Japan he/she (i'll just call Shion "it") is male, but everywhere else, it's a female. Even better, in the American verison, Shion's voice is of a woman. What do you guys think? LansingWolverine 1 Yup. I ascertained that Ash Crimson was male when I first played KOF '03 (I must admit the headband was misleading). Graphics-wise: - the first time I saw Shion I already considered him a male. In Japan, Shoin sounds like a guy, meanwhile, here in America, it sounds like a woman. I think even SNK of America got confused! But Genesis is right. Apparently, according to the SNK wiki, Shoin was originally a girl. But they scrapped that idea. It was supposed to be a daughter of Ignes, i think... But yea... SNK of Japan is a serious lol Yup. You don't want all the characters on your fighting game is generic guy with headbands and gi lol. Only my humble opinion though.
