Ryon Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 does your game come with characters? also you should take off that double filter. it doesnt look that good, sometimes it looks good, but most of the time it does not. - Characters - / - Stages - / - Screenpacks - / - Lifebars - / - Fonts - / - Full Games - / - Templates -
Amaan Saeed Khan Posted March 18, 2013 Author Posted March 18, 2013 No. Unfortunately I cant make a character but in my game all characters have been balanced by me for the game. And something new in mugen.http://s1340.photobucket.com/user/Amaan_Saeed_Khan/media/New_zps4572cbe1.mp4.html
Ryon Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 How did you manage to do the multi form characters like that? - Characters - / - Stages - / - Screenpacks - / - Lifebars - / - Fonts - / - Full Games - / - Templates -
Amaan Saeed Khan Posted March 19, 2013 Author Posted March 19, 2013 Not something new. Just an idea. Only by Big portrait. The mini portrait is also big portrait. I am realy sory. My English is not good so that I can understand... Have you wached the 2 hidden teams appairs? and some hidden characters which are not seam until hilight.
PlasmoidThunder Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 I too wonder how multiple characters can be assigned to a single select slot. Project LG said: God knows you shit out characters like a friggin' gumball machine.
Ryon Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Ahh i see, thats a very complicated illusion. great job! - Characters - / - Stages - / - Screenpacks - / - Lifebars - / - Fonts - / - Full Games - / - Templates -
sтαя∂υsт cяυsα∂εя Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 I think I do have an idea how to do that, seems the select cursor is embedded in the 9000, 0 sprite. Pretty nicely done I must say. Ryon 1 V-Nix Grafix & CGs || My 1.1 HD Lifebars
Amaan Saeed Khan Posted March 20, 2013 Author Posted March 20, 2013 Thanks. In my next game there will be an another idea of moving portraits. I mean the big portraits will be animated. Just like SVC select screen.
Ryon Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 thats impossible, and there are no work arounds for the mugen engine. if you used Shugendo its easily possible, but not many people have Shugendo. - Characters - / - Stages - / - Screenpacks - / - Lifebars - / - Fonts - / - Full Games - / - Templates -
Amaan Saeed Khan Posted March 23, 2013 Author Posted March 23, 2013 Sorry I dont know that what is Shugendo mean. I have a trick to use animated portraits but posible only in a complete game. Like, by trick I made multiple characters slot in my screenpack. And like, I keep hidden characters/teams which appairs only when go to select it. I have tricks to do animated portraits but I need help in other places. I will post soon a short of video of animated portrait. Just a rough sample. 1: I will keep complete teams in the Select Screen and the cursor move from a complete team to another complete team. 2: When the cursor move to the team the whole team or a single player in the team start animation. I can use any animation to hilight the character. Eather it is default standing animation or animation from the characters intros.
PlasmoidThunder Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Shugendo is an engine similar to MUGEN, but with less limitations. Project LG said: God knows you shit out characters like a friggin' gumball machine.
Amaan Saeed Khan Posted March 24, 2013 Author Posted March 24, 2013 Hmm I should use that as well. Mugen have so much if we think that how its possible. I like to make somthing new.
Ryon Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 if you can do the optical illusion of animated portraits for the select.def I'll bow down to you. - Characters - / - Stages - / - Screenpacks - / - Lifebars - / - Fonts - / - Full Games - / - Templates -
Amaan Saeed Khan Posted March 24, 2013 Author Posted March 24, 2013 Hahaha.... Dear, I have a trick not new coding and I said its posible but in a complete game. Like I did something new in my first game.
LuaraJohn Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I'll wait a tutorial for "Animated Big Portrait" trick... I hear it's so hard to do... But when I learn, I'll give my time making this in my project. Good Work!
GohanSSM2 Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Keeping my mouth closed Hint, Pioupiou did a bunch of this stuff when he did his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles MUGEN Remake game way back when. I never released my DBZ UB 22/27 screenpack stuff publicly because I've been toying around with the idea of big portraits and such but like said it would make the characters 'game specific' and not really 'generic' anymore. Edit, and oops, yeah you can get a really wild setup going when you set the random sprite to an animation number and such but not sure if you've got that far yet. And keeping my mouth closed because I like what you're doing and don't want to jinx it Amaan Saeed Khan. Same as I liked when Pioupiou helped push some boundaries way back when. I always like to see people trying something different. Good work so far Amaan Saeed Khan
Amaan Saeed Khan Posted February 1, 2014 Author Posted February 1, 2014 Thankyou Gohan. I am feeling so happy that a creator apreciated my work...
