Updated Rurouni Kenshin characters 01/21/13

Since I'm not sure how long I will stick around in the MUGEN, I decided to share most of my updated characters.  Here you will find Himura Kenshin, Battousai, Saito Hajime, and Yukishiro Enishi with updated sprites and gameplay.  Sprite edits on Kenshin and Battousai were done by (the now retired) DanMT.  Thanks for all your support and enjoy!

 

What was updated?

Himura Kenshin:
Updated sprites
New hyper portrait
Stricter guard push
Added short jump
POweradd for counters and first attacks
Fixed issues with AI and damage dampeners
Fixed issue with envcolor for counters

Himura Battousai:
New sprites and super portraits
Stricter guard push
Removed FG elements during superpause
short jump
poweradd for counters and first attacks

Saito Hajime:
Added short jump
Added poweradd for counters and first attacks
Added 6 more palettes (12 in total)
Improved hitboxes for gatotsu moves... he should be more hittable now (tested with kungfu man)
Improved super portrait quality
Improvements to some sprites (will continue to improve the rest)
Fixed envcolor issue during counters
Fixed intro bugs in turn/survival mode
Removed lifebar, BG, and FG elements during superpause
Supers are easier to perform now

 

Yukishiro Enishi:

Improved AI
Added a new special, Frenzied Nerves: similar to Nerves of Insanity but only grants super armor for 3 seconds
Slightly higher defense
Slightly higher damage for kofuku zettousei
Fixed some clsn issues with Kaishi Tou Sei
Fixed alignment issues with Gou Tsui Tou Sei
Fixed envcolor issue during counters
Added some ticks of invincibility at start of sen ran tou sei

Added palfx when in Frenzied Nerves/Nerves of Insanity mode

thank you for this share and the update. Its refreshing to have anime characters that arent chibis. These guys fit right in with my samurai showdown and last blade chars.
