The Monthly Judgement Once a month a small team of 3 Judges gets together and each selects a character released on the forum. They write a full review of the character, and then grade all 3 characters on presentation and functionality. On the first of each month, these reviews and grades are released for your Mugen edification. Judges earn awards for contributing, and creators who's content is chosen earn rewards depending on their score. If you'd like to be a Judge the visit this thread and drop a comment. Visit the Monthly Judgement forum here to check it out: [ MONTHLY JUDGEMENT ] * Dates may move slightly due to life.

OVERVIEW ~ The purpose of this forum is to connect people offering paid Mugen related creative work, with people seeking to pay for custom Mugen related creative work. For example you might want to pay an experienced sprite artist to make you a custom sprite set. Or you might be willing to create a custom sprite set for the right price. Either way, this is where you find your connection. Here are some examples of the type of work you could commission here: A custom title screen for your motif, a voice patch for a certain character, original stage music, a sprite set for a new attack for an existing character, a 3,472 character slot select screen or a demo video for your recent project. DISCLAIMER ~ Any monetary exchanges that take place regarding this work are completely out of our hands. We take no responsibility for deals made or broken. TAGS ~ Only the following special tags are available on this forum: • Creator Offering Work • Requesting Creative Work • Mugen Coder • Mugen Editor • Character Creator • Stage Creator • Motif Creator • Spriter • Animator • Palette Maker • Voice Actor • Videographer • Artist • Musician DISCORD ~ Some of these tags also exist as roles on our Discord server, independently of how they're used here. You might find some connections there on the #mugen-requests channel as well.

I still poke away at it here and there. If I can get to a point where it's ready for the final push I'll update.

My memory of first meeting Алескей was when I was trying to code Wario's in-game-moves-list. I asked for help with the superpause state controller in the support section, and he was right there with super concise, in depth answers to everything. Very polite and to the point. No bs. He's not that social, and I can relate. But he's super insightful, very well thought out and articulate. Always the voice of reason, and any time he was needed, he was right on time. Like freakin Batman. There were 2 times the forum was hacked, and he had it repaired before I even knew anything happened. Amateurs by his lights. He was great like that. He showed me a side project he was workin about a year ago. He'd made a pokeball mod for this first person dinosaur related game I can't remember the name of right now. Really cool tho, funny too, it was an otherwise pretty serious game. But there you had a pokeball vending machine, and functional pokeballs that could capture in world pokemon that you'd run across every once in a while.

As many of you already know, Алескей has decided to step down from his admin role. It's been an absolute pleasure to work with him. He's always in good spirits, and he brought a ton of knowledge to the table. Saved our asses on more than one occasion too. Definitely the behind the scenes guardian of MFFA, and we're all sad to see him go. But as life would have it, someone with his skills definitely has a lot of opportunities, and he no longer has the time to commit to administrative duties. So he's on to bigger and brighter things, and I know I'm not alone in wishing him all the luck in the world. So here's everyone's chance to say goodbye, show him some appreciation for overseeing the site, getting us through some really tough downtimes, spreading his infinite Mugen coding knowledge and sharing his kick ass creations with all of us! Thank you Алескей!!! It's been a blast, and we hope you wander back this way someday!

Yea that's what I thought too, but same here, links workin fine for me as well. Guest, I'm going to give this ticket 3 more days, and close it, given that the link seems to be working. If you're still having problems, please provide a link before the weekend.

If you can provide a link to the thread you're talking about, I'll scan some older database backups and see if I have a copy. It's possible that the author either deleted it or merged it with a larger thread.

____/ HOSTING UPGRADES Finally, after a long string of bugs problems and downtime, we've dropped Bluehost and moved on to zFast. The last details of the migration have been wrapped up, and we're able to restore the site to it's full form. We've also added Cloudflare as a Content Delivery Network, which caches the site's data in 152 data centers around the world for quicker delivery. Aside from making the site faster, it makes us more secure by adding an additional layer firewalls and proxies. This also seals and burns the logout bugs coffin. That issue was being caused by Bluehost's caching system, which could not be permanently disabled, (disabling it would usually last about a week). ...I'm trying to refrain from ranting about it and all the problems and downtime with them. ___/ VISUAL UPGRADES • Why did stuff look stripped down? ~ Well, in dealing with the most recent bugs and downtime, we disabled all 3rd party plugins to narrow down the process. Now that everything is solved, we can return to normal functioning. So the look now, is basically like us getting back to zero after coping with Bluehost. • Widget Layout ~ If you haven't noticed the new widget layout... well then I don't know what to tell you but it's probably chronic. New widget layout, brought back the member widget on the forums page, put The Muthafuckin Fawn widget next to the news board, and added in a Recent Posts widget. • Board Icons ~ We now have a new set of mostly anime themed board icons. Those buildings were... yea sorry about that. • Profile Pages ~ The member profile page has gotten a mild overhaul. You can now click on a members cover photo to view the full image. • Star Ratings ~ The topics list in the forums now show the star ratings, if a topic has been rated. (They glow if you hover on them ?) • Site's Main Banner ~ Now plays nice when shrunk down. • Custom CSS ~ ... I created a little over 2200 lines of custom css (styling) at various places all around the forum, most of which was revealed at x-mas time, but I've since updated a lot of it. I'm continually plugging away in the background tweaking little visual problems, trying to make everything look good. • Square Avatars ~ There is a new theme available (bottom of page, "theme"). It's a clone of the default Deviant theme, except with square avatars. Visually, things will continue to be designed around the round avatars, so it may look a little strange in places, but it's at least an option now. ? ___/ NEW STAFF TICKETS SYSTEM • Report to staff button at bottom ~ We've got a new contact staff system. Rather than that button emailing everyone on staff, it now links to the [ STAFF TICKETS ] sub forum in the Staff HQ. Guests are allowed to post there, however new topics require staff approval before the topic becomes visible and any responses are allowed. And all completed topics will be locked. Which means guests will only be able to comment on their own tickets, after it's been approved as a security measure. ___/ WHAT'S NEXT? • The Ikemen Dojo ~ Is currently in the middle of a refurbishing. Keep an eye out. @RodKnee and @TheFclass97 have been doing a freakin incredible job with it, hosting live tourneys Which EVERYONE should keep an eye out for and participate in, cause they're sweeet! Here check out the last one, the June Thumb-Fu tourney There's basically no way to resist wanting to get in on that.
