I've seen this formation before. We'll need to wait till the right moment to strike. Most likely when they attack they'll be vulnerable. Any attacks to those shields may be futile.

Well...here we are. I'm sure you weren't expecting this but I couldn't pass up on an image with such potiential. Props to Sky79 for the original image and maluck1557 for the original fire animation, which I resized for this stage. It also has superjump, looped bgm with water sounds effects. I guess there are several obvious innuendos to this stage, but the name is the most relevant. Those who are observant may get it, but not everyone will at first glance. So enjoy a really special stage inspired by a special person.

Off in the desert area the group could see the next wave. Another batch of soldiers although these seemed to be bigger than the group they just faced. Heavily armored soldiers armed with large guns could be seen surrounded by a group of large shield wielding soldiers. Additionally, near them obvious movement underground could be seen suggesting large somethings swimming in the sand.
Lucent. Strategy time. I suggest we stick to our current formation. Those shield soldiers. Im sure our usual projectile attacks aren't gonna cut it this time. The heavily armed soldiers are gonna definitely take a few hits. And I'm not even sure what that is moving underground but what I DO know is that they will require some creative thinking...
That last move Lucent used. I think it could help. It may not directly damage them but it can definitely unearth those...whatever they are. Then we attack them while there vulnerable.
Exactly. That leaves the guards. We'll need to strike them from behind. Melina. Your speed should help with that. Umbra and his familiars would be of great asset. Walt...if you're up to it...we're gonna need that power of yours.
That's what I've got so far. Looks like this next wave was designed to counter our projectile based attacks. Any suggestions?

LightFlare stands still and focuses. As the axe comes within inches of him he suddenly grabs it and swings it with Umbra on the other end at the soldiers in hopes he could reach guards before they recover from the grenade.

Raina shouldn't be far behind. But I suggest we use projectile attacks to take out several of the drones at once before they have a chance to react. Then move in according to what we discussed. Umbra, Walt and Melina toward the front. Me and Raina at mid range. Lucent in the back. Walt and Melina focus on ground units. Umbra can help while keeping an eye on drones. Me and Raina will focus primarily on drones.
Light...we still need to keep and eye on your teamates. We may need to switch roles or help the other. But I do agree with Light's format. If you agree Lucent, we'll move on your cue.
Once the word is given and you guys start, I'll pick a drone, snipe it and move in.
I'll move in once the first drone is down...just say the word.

This bickering isn't gonna help us. Let's put our differences aside and focus on implementing our strengths. We've already established who our medic is. We've may have also established who the other team will attack first.
I believe Melina and Anwalt share something in common. They both can take a lot of damage and retaliate quickly.
Umbra and Raina seem most comfortable at range attacks. I'm skilled at them as well but I'm versitle...so I'll adapt. Keep these things in mind when the training begins.

I have a few questions. How many enemies do we defeat before someone is teleported! How many enemies can we expect to see once we arrive? How much time do we have there? Is it possible for a player from both sides to be teleported at the same time? And how long do we have overall?

Street Fighter Alpha[COMMENT]
It's time to dig in dem crates and resurrect some classics. Got a lot of love for these, so I'm happy to bring you my updated SFA stage collection. Most of the updates went to the 1.1 versions with updated delta's, bounds and zoom tweeks, but a few of the 1.0 versions got "taller" as well. But I also addressed some of the visual aspects of the sprites themselves and trimmed a couple of the bgm's, so the 1.0 versions will be changed as well on those. And finally I provided a link to all of them at once. So have fun and collect them all! Enjoy!

A cooperative activity would be the best for now. I haven't done one in quite some time and it was a thrill fighting along side you all on the ship. If I know Darkflare, this drill will give us much more of a workout than those "Rubbermaid" pirates from before.

Looks like my hunch was accurate. The group activities are down below. She mentioned we'd need to talk to the..."trainers" on the underground level. I have a feeling these "trainers" are some skilled fighters in their own right.
Darkflare typically employes some of the most skilled fighters around. The last time I met a trainer undergeround...it turned out to be a fierce battle. I'm sure he took that battle into account when designing his new facilty. Well...I'm ready when you guys are.
We can take the elevator Darkflare came out of earlier. It's this way...
Melina leads as she and LightFlare head toward the nearest elevator and wait for the others...

Why not do both? I've had some experience with his training drills. During that time, they were in the prototype stage. Though I didn't know it at the time, if they were any indication of how effective his exercises could be...then I'm sure he a drill will allow us to sharpen multiple facets of our game. Walt, Melina and I can strengthen or close quarters combat. Umbra, Lucent and Raina can work on their distance fighting skills. Or we can all interchange on the fly. And Lucent...you'll still have a chance to sharpen your summoning skills. We should browse the various options first.
We should look for some kind of terminal. The arenas on this floor seem to have a devise near them. Most likely we just insert our cards and follow the prompts. Although I think the "good stuff" is on the bottom floor. Let's consult a maid before deciding.
