  1. I think TestP created Guile, Blue Mary, Xian Hou Dun and Shinobu first if I am not wrong and I think I have a couple of Mugen 01.01.2000 Dos Mugen games which I downloaded it six years ago from PCgames.net I think, not sure if I can share it here.....and some of the files are pretty huge.
  2. Earliest Mugen character created other than Kung Fu Man? do you mean first old dos Mugen characters?
  3. I tried redoing so many times, that error message: Can't map palette 1.1 to 1 still occur and I swear I follow exactly every steps that you did, I have no idea why until I open up the def file and quote this: [Palette Keymap] x = 1 ;Press button X to select palette 1, etc. ;y = 2 ;z = 3 ;a = 4 ;b = 5 ;c = 6 the error message is gone, not sure if this is correct, Since I have got only one palette, I guess this makes sense but I didn't see you quote these in your 2nd video when you start to modify the def file
  4. I give mine a try: I don't put my psn's name as I don't play online yet and play console game rarely nowadays. How I wished there are X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs Street Fighter, X-Men Children of the Atom and Marvel Super Heroes in the image template :P
  5. DLC, I guess. As a fan of Guilty Gear Series, I am looking forward to this
  6. I am making her as a study base on your videos :P I am not sure where can I see if I have got my palette map, here is a screenshot of my character in the character palette in sff:

  8. Hi, I came across a problem after I switched on the debug, there is an warning message shown: I open up common1.cns file in data folder and saw this since state 5900 is the only one found in common1.cns file: [State 5900, 3] ;Change palette type = RemapPal trigger1 = 1 source = 1,1 dest = 1,palno I modify type = RemapRap to type = null and when I load up my character again, enabling the debug info, the error message is gone. I am not sure if I null this state, will there be any further error since this remappal is part of common1.cns 's code?
  9. Hi, when playing some fighting games and setting the CPU difficulties to 8, the cpu in Arcade mode can be challenging depending on which fighting games it is. When I play a fighting game for the first time, I would set the difficulties to 1, the easiet. Like for example, I play The Last Blade series for the first time, setting the cpu difficulties to 1 and try out the main character, Kaede in training mode. After trying him out, I play through Arcade mode. After completing the game, I would use Moriya and Setsuna and going through the same process as Kaede. Next, I would increase the CPU to the default difficulties which is normally 4 - MVS. This time it is slightly harder especially fighting against some characters like Hyo Amano, Shigen from Last Blade 2 and Moriya from both Last Blade as I have difficulties fighting against these three characters. Next, I would try setting the CPU difficulties to 8, it was terribly difficult to fight against the CPU opponents as they are tough. I tried other fighting games like King of Fighters series, Capcom vs. SNK series, Street Fighter 3 Series, their CPU difficulties 8 are not as difficult as Last Blade Series, Samurai Spirits Series, Street Fighter 2/Zero, King of Fighters 94/95 and other old school classic fighting games. I played Street Fighter 2/Zero series, setting their CPU difficulties to 8 and notice that the damage that my character received from my opponent does more damange than the damage that I gave my CPU opponent. For Vampire Savior games, I find it funny that Vampire: The Night Warrior, Vampire Hunter: Night Warrior Revenge and Vampire Savior: Lord of the Vampire's CPU difficulties 8 are too strong but for Vampire Savior 2 and Vampire Hunter 2, their CPU difficulties 8 are not too difficult which is odd. I am not sure does anyone here feel that the CPU difficulties for some fighting game is odd?

  12. I start to play my first fighting game in year 1998 at a game shop near my house where I have to pay $2.00 to play it for half-an-hou. My first fighting game is Marvel vs Street Fighter in Sega Saturn. My first two characters that I use were Wolverine and Ryu. I have fun playing with it and eventually got addicted to this game and that is the reason why the vs. cross over series are my favorite fighting games like Capcom vs. SNK, Mortal Kombat vs DC, Street Fighter X Tekken etc. After I have shifted my house near to a shopping complex, there was an Arcade centre there with Marvel vs Street Fighter. I play it almost everyday. I did play other games like Street Fighter EX, Street Fighter 3, King of Fighters 98, King of Fighters 99 etc from that Arcade Centre and I did not really enjoy these games only Marvel vs. Street Fighter appeal to me. There is also Marvel vs Capcom too I played it a few times but I still enjoy playing Marvel vs Street Fighter most. Marvel vs Capcom Origin should have include Marvel vs Street Fighter =.='' Anyway in 2008, I bought a PS2 since I have got enough money and I bought a few fighting games like SNK vs Capcom Chaos, Neogeo Battle Coliseum, King of Fighters 2002, Samurai Spirits 6, King of Fighters Neowave, The Last Blade Collection, Garou Mark of the Wolves, King of Fighters XI, Capcom vs SNK 2, Street Fighter Anniversary Collection, King of Fighters Maximum Impact 2, Guilty Gear XX AC, King of Fighters Maximum Impact Regulation A, Fatal Fury Battle Archieve 2, King of Fighters 2003, King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match, King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, King of Fighters Nests Saga and a few others. I have yet to buy King of Fighters Orochi Saga, Vampire: DarkStalker Collection and Samurai Spirits Anthology. I bought PS3 in year 2010. I bought Super Street Fighter 4, King of Fighters XIII, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Street Fighter X Tekken. I rarely play PS3 games but play PS2 games like King of Fighters series because I am trying to make a Mugen character from King of Fighters Series to get an idea of how the character is played.
  13. I found out about Mugen in year 2001 in a pc game centre when view a booklet of pc games in a cd cover booklet. I got excited after I saw screenshots of Sagat from Street Fighter Zero vs. Joe from Real Bout Fatal Fury Special fighting in Iori's King of Fighters 96's stage, Gouki from Street Fighter Zero vs. Shingo from King of Fighters 98 fighting in Raining Park stage from King of Fighters 99. I thought it is a new Capcom vs. SNK game for PC so I am curious and borrow this game and play it. When the game loaded, there are 36 characters from: Street Fighter: Gouki, Blanka and Dhalsim King of Fighters: Terry, Andy, Clark, Chang, Kensou, Billy, Daimon, Shingo, Chris, Yashiro, Orochi, Orochi Iori, Kasumi and Eiji Real Bout Fatal Fury Special: Joe Garou Mark of the Wolves: Rock, Griffon, Grant and Kain Marvel vs Series: Cyclops, War Machine, Rockman and Doctor Doom Samurai Spirits: Genjuro, Ukyo and Jubei and some unknown characters: Arina, Karin, Karakuri, Kuno, Akane, Koga, Strider Hien with 10 stages from various fighting game like Nakoruru and Jubei's Samurai Spirits 2's stage, Hokutomaru and Dong Hwan's Garou Mark of the wolves stage, Mai and Laurence Blood's Stage from Real Bout Fatal Fury 2, Yashiro's stage from King of Fighters 97, Okina's stage from Last Blade and two unknown stage which I do not know. It was fun, I like using Gouki and Orochi Iori alots. There is a bug where the game will crashed when selecting the stage "------------------------------" that is a typo error where the semicolon is not added. At that time, I did not have internet connection at home and I went to check out about Mugen using my school's computer and the first site I visited was Andre Lopes Mugen site. I visit the what is Mugen section and saw the select screen there, he have got other characters like Krizalid, Rugal, two Ioris, two Kyos, two Ryus, two Guiles and many others. It is amazing and I wonder how did he get those characters, does this game feature hidden characters because I did not see K', Kyo, Sagat and other stages in my current Mugen game which is confusing to me at that time. After I have found more information about it, only then I know that this is a 2D fighting game engine that can allow players to create their own 2D fighting game which is cool. In December 2001, I got my internet connection at home and start to browse for more information about Mugen and found some websites like Mugen4ever, Mugen Mania(I think...), Mugen Fighters Guild and start downloading characters and stages from there. At first I downloaded my favorite characters, the first character I download was Zero from King of Fighters 2000 as he is featured as fighters of the week when I first browse Mugen Fighters Guild. Most of the download links in Mugen4ever are dead, then I start to download almost all characters from the fighting games that I have played including the stages. That is how I get to know Mugen and up till now, I am tired of downloading characters that are created from others due to some of the characters doesn't suit my taste like they have got programmed AI which is ridiculous hard to defeat so I intend to make character by following Ryon's tutorial for start :)
  14. Hi, is there a way to not allowing player to press any attack keys during the characters' intro? When I was playing with my friend, my friend often like to skip the character's intro and I can't pick my character's mode select during his intro.
  15. Rage Mode is just only basic Punches and Kicks, no super or special moves. I guess XCB hasn't complete her yet when he released her.
