Applejack with Mukai's moveset, pretty interesting character overall.

This was never publicly released, but it wasn't really private either.

Well color me surprised, kinda rare to find creators like you releasing this kind of stuff here.

It ain't everyone's fancy but WinMUGEN stuff is still good when it's done like this.

I... really don't see how kulou isn't already beastly, if you want a stronger version you can go find Original kulou or Black kulou (both of which are generously hosted by various KOF Youtubers, Quaser998 being a good and easy source for anything not objectively private)

his reactions were towards the downvotes, not the critism on this character, that's why I spoke up this time. It didn't help it was handed to him in a rather aggressive manner.

You can call him acting like a kid over getting upset but seeking approval of others is a very serious desire people have, and all those downvotes is effectively telling him his work is for naught.

And as stated he is showing improvement, it's rather slow but it's still a large step up over his previous works. I'm not saying I want to encourage him to release half-assed characters, I'm just saying this and his most recent chars should get a thumbs up when compared to his previous, in all due respect: crap. It's just, his stuff is still half baked and I hope he updates it and continues to improve with the good parts of the feedback he was given; it's been made clear he's not the best at working past his weaknesses, but someone has to give a chance.

I would have to agree, not only is Warner still doing MUGEN things all these years later, he's gotten even better at animating his characters, like wow those animations are next level for his kind of stuff!

@GTFoxN6Y's early characters were bad, they got bashed for a clear reason, that much is true.

But he's starting to make a genuine effort with his characters and to improve them. And now as I see it this is backlash, it's just... hatred towards him because of his early works.

They are right about how to improve your characters, but downvoting it just because it's his character isn't acceptable. You are actively telling him to give up instead of improve by doing this. You are not being a good community member by doing this.

He wants to learn, he wants to improve, it's up to us to guide him, gently, not push him away.

Anyways.

Your getting better man, you are improving, I just wish people would be more helpful and less negative towards your otherwise lack-luster releases. (everyone's gotta start making an effort somehow!)

Even thou he using the EOH template (something I don't really care about if it's being used properly), there aren't alot of (Zelda CDI) King's in MUGEN so I appreciate there being one more, so I'll also add him to my player team, he still looks fun to play.

I'll give up an upvote for all the effort you had put in as is, and I'll give you another one if you improve it even further in a patch, how's that sound? Otherwise their critism is still decent and worth listening to, just keep it in mind for next time. Don't throw in the towel and keep at it!

I am however once again going to throw in a card for @CoolAnimeHustler, who has shown time and time again a sheer positive outlook on everything they've done. I donno if that'd make them a good moderator, but I still think they have positive traits worth looking into.

1: There are ALOT more, you just gotta know where to look, most can found on blog pages the authors own but finding those can be tricky, which thankfully:

2: If your looking for an asian news site, QXMugen is a good one. it's a Chinese site, but sadly alot of the authors who do use it also use baidu which you may have trouble Downloading from.

3: don't know a huge number of them, but authors also use Bilibili.

4: The cheapie rabbit hole goes ALOT deeper than Crazy Catastrophe, just look up a nullfest war on youtube. You might be pretty outdated if you think Chuck Norris is still relevant cheap-wise. Like, this is nearly 10-years ago type stuff.

Brergrsart went from being a joke-y character maker to being the literally next TheNoone in terms of quality, that's something you don't see everyday, and hey, if getting to see stuff like THIS is anything to show for it, I wanna see more!

Oh nice, he made versions for both MUGENs

KAZ is a really nice creator who also liked to put cheapie code into his chars, his Ryu was alot of fun to play personally.

Author did the best of both worlds quite well, nice to hear their still around

SO apparently this character is using memory hacks to assign values to the vars instead of, ya know, using VarSet

However the older versions were converted over in the past.

this new version is using a permission API built into Windows called VirtualProtect to effectively fuck with the vars and make them COMPLETELY not work in later versions of Mugen (IE the use of vars over 600 (var(603) for example), which obviously, would be alot of work to get working.

Needless to say, yeah, this author did not want this character running on 1.0 and up. I am genuinely curious if this character will trigger an alert from popular anti-viruses.

It still amazing me how people use nothing short of what speedrunners use in RCE runs to do their, more often than not pointless shit in Mugen

I've heard rumors of creators building their chars to only work in WINMugen and being basically impossible to convert to 1.0 and up as a means to gate them from a majority of Western Mugenites

I donno how true this is, but I see no reason this character needs piles of %n code and other winmugen fucked-up logic to run other than being a means to make it 1.0 proof.

This character doesn't even have a 12th pallete/cheap mode! (atleast from the looks of it)

baidu... ew, that site is practically impossible to DL anything from if your a westerner, but I largely hold the author accountable for using baidu over using axfc.net uploader (there is quite a bit of hentai thou) or ux.getuploader.com, both of which are quite popular by eastern creators, and accessible by westerners too. (I even saw someone use GitHub once to release their characters)

Yeah I use QXMugen, it's a great Chinese site dedicated to recent releases, you can still navigate around due to the addresses still being in a completely readable english

Jesus Christ, the other Archive threads were already locked/cleaned up because of reasons like this. We already know all this, the archive is what it is, it's a necessary evil and the adfly's exist to pay for the servers hosting the files (Just think for a moment what it would cost to host what is terabytes of content, server hosting IS NOT cheap)

No one likes it, but it doesn't change why I made this thread. Please don't force the staff to have to lock my request thread.

All i want, is stuff mirrored off the archive because they have, and this stuff is offline/no where else to be found, that's it, that's all I'm asking for.

Now please, if anyone has an account they can use to download the files, do so in secretary, do not post the links publicly where your name can be seen, and send me a private message with the links, I will repost them for all to download as I get them.
