  1. I'm not commenting on the character itself, I just think it's a little awkward to have a penis MUGEN character.
  2. I still think it's kind of tasteless, to be honest.
  3. Ewww... when I saw the title, I didn't think you were SERIOUS about it.
  4. Well... http://www.spriters-resource.com/gameboy_advance/gs2/ Spriters Resource has some effects from Golden Sun worth checking out. I could just imagine the Nirvana Effect coming out of Twilight's horn instead of a poorly drawn box. Although I will say that some of these effects are cut off, the Nirvana effect especially. ...That's not to say it still can't be used, though.
  5. Then how did you even make edits if you know nothing about MUGEN coding?
  6. The NES version isn't as good as the SNES version either. Also considering it was the only official fighting game released in the states for the NES, it could have been better. But at least Casey's in that one, too.
  7. Okay, I'll see what I can do when it comes to sprite rotations and special effects, but like I said: I have no knowledge in MUGEN coding.
  8. I'll admit, I did kind of like that it tried to be different from other fighting games, but it's unballancedness was what ultimately did it for me. Ivan only needs to punch someone THREE TIMES to kill them. I also dislike the characters. Despite the fact that they're anthro, they look ugly in game, and they fight NOTHING like their so called mastered "Fighting Styles" would suggest. I know quite a bit about certain fighting styles, and most of the characters aren't even close.
  9. Fighting games and anthropomorphic animals: My two main weaknesses. Sadly, the two just have not been combined well. Brutal: Paws of Fury, is arguably the worst fighting game ever made, and the only other anthro fighting games I can think of besides Brutal and Bloody Roar are Sonic Fighters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters. (The later's okay depending on the version, the former I have never played.) As such, Bloody Roar is a game I've been wanting to play for a long time. And to this day, I regret not buying the Gamecube Bloody Roar game I saw at a Pawn Shop. ...There was just something in my head that would have felt embarrassed about buying it, so that's why I didn't. (Sad.) To this day, I've only played demos. Some day I hope to play a full one.
  10. You kind of mentioned the Pony creator bit. I could probably help you find special effects as well as the sprite twisting, but I have no knowledge of coding, so I'm pretty much worse at making MUGEN characters.
  11. Another problem I would like to bring up is the Fluttershy summon, which is RETARDEDLY overpowered. Both the TwilightSparkle and DerpyHooves summons take off, oh say, a 16th, maybe 12th of the opponents life. The Fluttershy summon is practically an insta-kill attack. To make matter's worse, the Fluttershy summon attacks the ENTIRE screen, while the Derpyhooves and TwilightSparkle summon have much shorter range. Also, why is DerpyHooves so small? I do kind of laugh every time I hear "I just don't know what went wrong," though. Perhaps I could help with the sprite-work. I have a cartoon program that can rotate sprites and do other things. With a little dissecting of the sprites, I could possibly make them look better and more fluid. Keep in mind though that I am still a beginner with the program, so don't expect top quality work.
  12. Sorry. I don't really watch My Little Pony very often, but I can definitely see its appeal. (In other words, I do kind of like it.)
  13. I think you need a program that converts WAVs to MP3 files, but I'm not sure MP3 files are useable in a MUGEN character. You'll have to ask someone else who is a bigger expert at how MUGEN characters work. Also, I don't remember the Sonic Rainboom or Derpy Hooves attacks. Is "Derpy hooves" the one where she has shoes on? Cause that only works if you're close to the enemy.
  14. No offense, but this character needs a LOT of work. It's animations seem very static, which with limited sprites can't be helped much. It lacks any special moves except its headbutt, and it's headbutt is assigned to a button instead of a combination. The special effects are awful, where Rainbow turns into Twilight and Twilight shoots out... ...I don't even know. It was just a purple shape to me. Another problem is Rainbow's ability to attack before the match starts. That's never a good sign. I also noticed the voice clips have not been compressed. ...While I am unsure how this happens, I notice some characters are relatively larger in filesize than others. For example, I downloaded a character that was 21 MB, but it had zero moves and no special effects. This suggests that the extra baggage comes from uncompressed sound files. There are other characters with a LOT of sounds, but they are a LOT smaller. For example, ^o^'s Adon/Fei Long/Thunder Hawk/Balrog are smaller in file-size than Fido's version of those characters, but they have more soundclips. (^o^'s characters are usually around 5 MB.) I'm unsure how the process goes, but that's what I'm guessing that most characters use compressed soundclips and the ones that don't jack up file-size. Over all, I know I might be sounding harsh with this review, but the character needs a LOT of work. I hope you're not offended by the review.
  15. Here's mine. I have a few drawings of my OCs (not fancharacter OCs) as well as a few flash animations, but nothing amazing, especially if you're not into "Cutesy Furry Monsters," I'm assuming a lot of you probably are not. http://mugourth.deviantart.com/
  16. So it's kind of like Dynasty Warriors?
  17. Looks cool. How different are the characters in this game compared to Darkstalkers? Are there more less-humanoid monsters in this one? Either way it's a fighting game, so I'm interested.
  18. I'll say one thing I noticed. While playing in the Present stage, when I sent my opponent (or an opponent sends me) into the sky, I notice a blue bar floating in the background. I highly doubt it's supposed to be there.
  19. I was kind of hoping more Sonic CD levels, but okay. :D I said I had 2 GBs of characters, music, and stages. I didn't say I had a larger collection than everyone else. :P
  20. Those stages are definitely AWESOME! You plan on doing more by any chance?
  21. Alright, I'll download it, but it just seems like another one of those updates intended to mess with people who can't play certain characters/stages in regular MUGEN. Plus, it will probably take a while to transfer ALL my characters from WIN MUGEN to MUGEN 1.0, all my stages, my screenpack, etc. I have a good 2 GBs worth of characters and stages. ...But for these stages and what's to come, I'm sure it will be worth it.
  22. This might be worth checking out. Also loling at the Mr. Bear/Kensuke Kuduo edit.
  23. Samurai Warriors 4? To be honest, I've never even heard of the first three.
  24. I can't get these stages to work on my MUGEN for some reason.
  25. Yikes, ^o^ is still making Mugen characters? I've downloaded quite a few of his characters, and a lot of them have cheep AI and will **** you up unless you have a character you're REALLY good with. And even then, you'll get your money's worth in a fight. Those Battle K Road characters, especially the two boxers who have infinite trapping abilities, can REALLY put you on smackdown.
