  1. ...I'm going to be honest, this actually kind of looks fun. I was never a Monster Hunter fan, but I tend to prefer more whimsical games.
  2. Papyrus... this is AxSeeker. He's not exactly the best indicator of whether characters are good or not. Also, I was laughing at the dude's spelling errors, not the fact he needed help coding.
  3. Wait, they said "Rock, Flying and Normal." Chandelure's none of those.
  4. *Sigh* Maybe I am being a little picky, though. It's still Pokemon. I'm sure Tyranitar's going to be that Rock Playable, and in all honesty I'll probably buy and play this game anyway if I ever get a WiiU. ...I'll probably spend most of my time playing as Gengar though. Honestly, I just feel like I'm starting another fight, so I want to stop it right now. I'm sorry if I sounded angry.
  5. My main problem is, once again, Pokemon are so diverse. There's more than just skinny Pokemon. There's Pokemon who are massive, Pokemon who are fish, birds, and then some. Yet so far, almost every single Pokemon has been pretty much the same skinny wuss type. We have yet to have one good bulky, massive, looks like he can take a lot of hits type Pokemon, and I'm sorry, but those are the kind of Pokemon I like the most: the ones that actually look like they can take loads of hits. I don't like skinny Pokemon because I dislike speedy type characters, as well as characters that look like they can't take hits very well. Adding even one bulky Pokemon is not something that would take any more effort to do than adding more and more skinny Pokemon to the game. Besides Gengar, Charizard and maaaybe the two Pikachus(none of which are that bulky looking), all the characters so far have pretty much been the same or similar build. Yeah, Suicine's a quadruped and Machamp has some muscle to his design, but even they're pretty skinny. I know it sounds like a bad reason, but I don't see why it's wrong to complain that it feels like a company is limiting it's audience by putting only a few types of characters in a game instead of trying to add as many types as they can. I'm not saying they should all be bulky characters, and I get why MOST would be skinny. But I still think there's too many skinny Pokemon and the game needs a good bulky type to round it off. At this point, Tyranitar might be a likely rep, and even he isn't THAT bulky looking. But if he gets in, he'll have to do if no one else.
  6. ...I'm slowly losing interest in this game. So far, almost every single Pokemon has been skinny. I mean, you could argue that in Tekken, most of the characters are skinny. ...But most of the characters in Tekken are ALSO human, so it's to be expected. Pokemon is more diverse. There are skinny designs, bulky designs, and everywhere in between. Yet for some ungodly reason, Nintendo's thinking it's a good idea that almost every single character has to be the skinny type, which is severely limiting the diversity of the cast. The only remotely bulky designs in the game are Charizard and Gengar, and even they aren't THAT bulky. The rest of the cast except maaaybe the two Pikachus, have similar skinny builds. Yeah, Suicine's a quadruped and Machamp has a little bit of muscle, but even they are fairly skinny. As for the three clues, I am expecting the Flying type to be Hawlucha. ...Though that might conflict with Tough Pikachu, who's also a Luchador wrestler. The Rock type, I'm expecting Tyranitar, but I'm hoping it's Aggron. As for Normal type, I'm hoping for Snorlax, but knowing Nintendo, it's probably either Meowth or Mr. Jiggles.
  7. I expected some sort of Furry related joke when I read "Fuhrman," but these two look kind of cool I might try them out,
  8. I can't watch videos, but I hear he can turn into a dragon, which is the only reason I'm not personally seeking Nintendo out and having them all hung. ...By their legs for an hour and using them as one of those executive clacking ball toys. ...I'm kidding, but is the dragon form only a final smash, or is it actually used in Corrin's moveset?
  9. A lot of people I know automatically hate a Mugen character for the same reason. I've seen few who like characters just for being Sonic. That being said, no, this character isn't very good.
  10. Cool stage. I got around to playing this game. It was pretty good. ...till I got to the special moves. The normal punch and kick maneuvers work fine, but special moves are broken and unresponsive. ...unless I'm doing something wrong.
  11. I, personally, am expecting him to surprise us. Of course, maybe it's just because I STILL cannot get over Corrin and Bayonetta, and I probably won't for a while, so I might just be filling my mind with delusional hope.
  12. I actually kind of like how the story is more simplified. I play a lot of games, and it gets kind of tedious bogging through hours of story just to get to the gameplay. ...The story's a bit girly though. Again, I actually kind of like being able to pick a level and play rather than bogging through large areas to get to the dungeon. One thing I dislike is how impossible it is to get Friendly Tokens. You can only get them from local friends, not online friends. So if you only have one 3DS, no friends with a 3DS, and want Friendly Tokens: tough.
  13. Everywhere I go, people always assume that speed will always beat strength. I personally don't think so. I personally think intelligence is key. Every argument I see against strength is that the big guy is ALWAYS going to mindlessly try and attack the speedster. No one ever takes into account one who is very strong, but also intelligent. If you ask me, strength is something to use defensively over offensively in a fight. If a strong opponent can read a quick opponent carefully, he can be able to counter the quicker fighter's movements and come out on top. ...That's just how I see it. Do you think strength is ever an important factor over speed? Also, are there any videogames where the big, slow, defensive guys are actually better overall than the weaker, yet quicker guys? Not just videogame, but other things as well. Edit: Also this has nothing to do with Sheik. I've gotten over that now. But the whole debate of "Speed wins over strength every time" still kind of bugs me.
  14. Late comment, but I'm actually kind of glad to see at least Chang is back. I kind of missed him in KOF 12 and 13. Also, I wonder if Iori's going to be the easiest opponent in this game? I don't know how it is past KOF99, but in the games I've played, he always seems to be the easiest opponent to beat. O_o
  15. Deep down, I'm hoping they surprise us with one more character, even if it isn't likely.
  16. I feel like I have to keep reminding people over and over: It's not just anthros, it's non-humans in general. Also, you're kind of the first one to be upfront about it and have taken an actual offense at it. If people wanted me to stop, they could have just said "Please knock it off." ...But then again, maybe they did and I skimmed through it, but it doesn't matter. But if you want me to stop, fine. It's kind of one of those "hot topics" for me though, and when it happens it's kind of hard for me to not comment, but I'll try I guess. You really don't have to be so mean about it. I forgot people hate animals here. (JK) ...(Or do you? O_o)
  17. No, basically the "edgy" crowd who like their games super serious and realistic.
  18. Hey, we DO have two representatives for F-Zero in Smash Brothers. ...Captain Falcon and Blood Falcon. As for both of the new characters, Bayonetta and yet another Fire Emblem character are about the exact opposite of what I wanted. I was hoping they would rekindle my interest in the game after getting bored with it, but I frankly want nothing to do with them, even if Corrin can turn into a dragon. The only nice thing I can say besides one character turning into a dragon (I'm assuming for a final smash) is that at least SNAKE isn't playable.
  19. Yeah, instead of appealing two a broader audience, the three newest characters are all pretty much advertised to the same damn group. Would it have killed them to diversify things?
  20. I was trying not to get my hopes up, but frankly I feel insulted by the final two characters. Yet another Fire Emblem character and Bayonetta? I was really hoping at least one of the two wouldn't be human, and yeah, Corrin can turn into a dragon, but that's not good enough for me, especially since I have no real respect for the Fire Emblem franchise. I know, I'm jaded, but frankly the idea that out of seven DLC characters, only ONE isn't human, kind of makes it hard for me to want to spend more money on this game, especially since the two new ones are from franchises I really don't like.
