  1. *A gap opened up behind Trini as the gap miko dragged him inside of it. He would later be dropped in the middle of a desert.* "Don't interrupt." *The gap proceeded to close and leave Trini behind.*
  2. *Grant proceeds to stand up and face toward Lightflare*
  3. *The bottom floor has a significant different layout from the rest of the base. The interior looked far more like a cavern than any kind of building interior. The mecha maid can be seen returning from deeper inside with an empty tray passing by Lightflare without a word.* *Straight ahead was the giant known as Grant sitting down in a meditative pose*
  4. "Very interesting indeed." "When you're done eating, meet me on the bottom floor. Grant will be waiting."
  5. *In the middle of the table was an big chunk of brownies with ice cream on top of them covered in hard chocolate and chocolate syrup. But it would not stay in once piece for long as the other members were frantically fighting to get a piece or two from it.* "Well well. You and Grant have some history together? Now I'm very interested in this fight..."
  6. *Darkflare is still holding his bowl of food.* "Geeze, did you even taste your food at all? That was quick.* "If you would like dessert, I advice that you make to the dining table post haste before the others finish the molten ice cream I have prepared. If you will excuse me, I must bring Mr. Grant his dinner." *The mecha maid walks off deeper into the base. It should be noted that she was carrying quite a large portion of food.*
  7. "Fair enough. Seems even our causes aren't so different."
  8. "Very well. Please excuse me." *The mecha maid then heads off to do her duties.* "I have to ask. You always seem determined to find a good challenge, so have you found a point to it all? I mean....why do you fight? What do you hope to accomplish through the fight?"
  9. I did and I still stand by my statement. And stop bringing your past again. How many times must you be told to let go of it already?
  10. Does the edit button not work for you or something?
  11. "My apologies, but I don't know you enough to suggest an appropriate meal. If you would be so kind to tell me then I will do my best to prepare it. Please choose quickly however, I must prepare the meals of everyone else as well." "I wouldn't expect something incredibly spectacular, but what she makes is fairly good." "Just don't pick anything too fancy, I really doubt we have something like that around here."
  12. "You should be more careful about what you wish for. You might end up regretting it one of these days. Anyway, foll-" "Excuse me sirs, but perhaps you would like to have something before you continue your training?" *Much like last time, the mecha maid's appearance was rather sudden. One has to wonder how she manages to sneak undetected.*
  13. "Really, you're going to get on my case about the way I speak?" "One exceptionally tough target. The problem with that is that could be anything. A particular opponent may not be hard for you as another kind. You're better off finding an actual opponent." "Oh right, you were asking how all this was funded? Over the years, we've taken on some tough bounties and we've placed pretty well on tournaments to get prize money. On top of that, some of our richer members put some investments into us and well...we ARE mercenaries. We get the ocassional escort or bodyguard job here and there. The reputation we've built means we come highly recommended. I suppose it also helps that we've never been such a big group to begin with." "Hmm....I did say I didn't want you fighting my comrades, but I might make an exception for a certain someone. If only because I know he will definitely not mind, as well as needing some warp up for a mission he'll be in soon."
  14. "....what do you mean by that?" *The robot voice from outside the room could be heard saying "IT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE FLAT."* "....excuse me." *The witch proceeds to step out of the room. Not soon after the battle sounds of the witch's magic striking the unfortunate robot could be heard outside.* "Even if I didn't told you that I didn't want you fighting my comrades now, you're going to have to take a rain check regardless for both of them. ....Bloody hell, you're awful speaking to women, are you?"
  15. "I AIN'T RUNNING NO GODDAMN WHOREHOUSE AROUND HERE!" *A robotic voice outside of the room could then be heard saying "I WISH HE DID!"* "SHUT UP ROBO-KY!" "Herr Light, I would advise you choose your words more carefully or there will be grave consequences." "Besides, I do have guys working with me as well. Do you honestly think a man like Kiske would want to associate himself with a whorehouse to begin with?"
  16. I think this discussion is silly. I mean, you're treating this like it's a crime to make Non fighting game characters for Mugen when it never was. And you can be creative with a fighting game character as well.
  17. -105 MB file size. -Some of her moves glitch the opponent when it KOs. Hell, she glitches when beaten by her own grab. -Safe moves on almost every move she possesses. -Invincible even on the recovery of her supers not letting you punish them. -Her backdash either has some crazy amount of invincibility or an autoguard. -1250 health with 110 defense for some reason. -TWO Instant kills when at low health and full meter. The startup is the exact same for both, the only difference is the animation that plays afterward. -All of this without considering the start pallete modes which break her even more. Pal 12 will automatically kill regular characters before the round starts. I would assume she's meant to be a boss, but this isn't how you do boss-type characters.
  18. "This group should consider themselves fortunate to have someone like Kiske as an ally. It's a shame he's unable to continue his duties as second in command due to his duties on Illyria. "Tch. Who would have taught he would be a king? He said he would help us whenever he could, but I think it might be best for him to resign." "Certainly a far better asset than his idiot robot clone." *Outside of the room a robotic voice screaming "I HEARD THAT!" could be heard.* "Our relationship is strictly professional. I merely offer my combat abilities in exchange for payment, much like everyone else on this team. You said your name was Lightflare? Are you rela-" "No." "Rather quick to the point there."
  19. Oi, the targets may not have fought back, but there was still a purpose for this type of training. After all, in an actual battle, you have to be quick and precise as well. Besides..." "A bigger opponent does not necessarily mean a better opponent. There is some truth to the saying 'The bigger they are, the harder they fall.'" "Didn't expect you to be here, Mycale." "And I was not expecting for us to have recruits." "He's not a recruit. Just someone I'm giving a tour to." "I take it then that you have informed your guest here that everything he sees here is to be taken to his grave and that if he dares to spill our secrets that we will be obligated to terminate him immediately?" "I may not look it, but I wouldn't have considered this at all if I didn't have some trust in him." "Sir Kiske may have been rather forgiving in your more questionable actions, but don't expect me to leave you off the hook quite as easily." "Give me a friggin break..."
  20. *As the next set popped up, Lightflare would note that there seemed to be even more invalid targets grouped in. On top of that, some of the valid targets were surrounded by invalid ones forcing one to be more precise on top of already requiring quick reactions due to their quick disappearance.* "You won't hit them on time if you try to line up your attack for those. And if you're not precise with your attack, you'll hit the wrong target."
  21. "I should probably mention that you can tell me to stop at any time for any reason. Really, you don't need me to tell you not to overexert yourself and that a true warrior knows his limits." *Countdown reads 20 seconds.* "It'll be easy at the beginning to get you warmed up, but will spike up in difficulty after a while." *Countdown reads 10 seconds.* "There's no target score to reach, but do attempt to do the best you can." *Countdown reaches 0 and a beep signals the start of the training session. Targets begin to appear nearby each clearly indicated whether they must be struck or avoided.*
  22. "Haha. You thought I gave you trouble? Every single one of my comrades is able to beat me if I don't give 110%. So reflex training then? Follow me." *DF proceeds to guide LF to a training room.* "All right, once the machine activates it will start producing targets for you to hit. All you gotta do is strike em before they disappear." "But that would be too easy. So I have this thing also produce targets you're not supposed to hit. All of these targets will start coming and going pretty fast after a while so you're going to have to make split second decisions. Basically, this training is for your reflexes and your judgement." "When you're ready, just step inside. The training commences after a brief countdown."
  23. ... "It's possible we might see someone, but most of them do their own thing and they're not always here. As for your training, you need to let me know what kind of training you want. I have a couple of specialized training rooms with equipment suited to a particular type of training in each." "In other words, you just tell me what area you want to work with and I probably have a training program for it."
