  1. Thanks man! I agree. :) It also animates really nicely in game.
  2. Updated the sheet with her new move: Sweep.
  3. Wait, what? Which sprites aren't 8-bit and 256 color? Tell me so I can fix them, though I think it's kind of impossible. I'm using 1.0 and not 1.1. The sprites get converted automatically to 256 colors even if you don't want them to.
  4. Thanks man :) The next major release will be with the next four characters. Sakura is in development now.
  5. Great! Hope you like it :)
  6. For anyone who tried to download, the link was down again. I finally got it uploaded to my site now.
  7. Hey Everyone, I realized more than once that NZC did a horrible job and giving variety to character attacks. Because of that, I have to sprite some things myself. Now, I'm not a spriter, so this is extremely difficult for me. I'm starting off with Sakura, but will be using this thread for all of my NZCR custom sprites. I'm sure there will be more in the future. Here, we have a move from SND and the NZC-styled equivalent that I'm in the process of making. I'm looking for advice on how to sprite better and make these sprites look more natural but fit the NZC style. I'm open to criticism. It's the only way one can learn from their mistakes. :) So here's Sakura's spin kick:
  8. Lol, Sheldon said it. Well, the sprites look good for Sasquatch, but they weren't given the least bit of justice. P.S. The stage in the first part of the video is really awesome.
  9. Well, while what you want to do is very possible, if you're a complete noob in coding CNS, then you're going to have a tough time with it. Also, know that transformations, unless done correctly, the hard way, are going to break your character from being juggled and grabbed by other characters. There are other complications with it as well. In terms of the number of CNS files, the reason you see such a varying amount is because it's about organization. For example, I like to split major parts of moves into separate CNS files. If I know my character will have a lot of thrown weapons, I might put all of the helpers of those moves or even the moves themselves into a separate file called thrown_weapons.cns. Again, it's up to you. There's no rule. You could have 1 or 10 if you want. Now, since you're so new to this, I would start here: http://elecbyte.com/mugendocs/mugen.html. Read it 100 times if you have to. There's everything you need to know right in these docs. Bookmark them and reference them often. Before looking at the lists Triggers and State Controllers, I would suggest reading the CNS guide there. It teaches you about the various aspects of state coding and other portions that people might not realize are required to code in the procedural *wrapper of CNS.
  10. Can you explain the process to get the error? For example: 1.) Start mugen.exe (OK) 2.) Get to main menu (OK) 3.) Select training mode (OK) 4.) Select Deidara (OK) 5.) Select Enemy (OK) 6.) Select Stage (OK) 7.) Round one loads (OK) 8.) Intro done (OK) 9.) Tries to use C4 (ERROR) Something like this would be very helpful. Edit: The thing is, the only thing that changed on the screenpack has been a font. The stage select font. That's it.
  11. Dude, if it was happening to me, it wouldn't have released as is. How am I supposed to recreate it? Does it happen upon loading the character? Do you get to the intro? What? I need some details? I asked about your computer because it might actually be that. No one else has reported this to me... so it's obviously not me. Now please, some details.
  12. Hmm, I'm not sure what you mean by that. What other screenpacks did you use him in? Also, how much RAM do you have?
  13. Sorry about that guys. The link is updated in the first post. Let's hope that Yandex doesn't pull the same crap that DropBox did.
  14. You edit the character's .sff file. Their large portrait.
  15. Yes, indeed. :) LOL!
  16. Great! Hope you like it. :)
  17. Nope, Pikachu was made by me, but Honchkrow was made by TxPot. I do not agree with having immunities in a fighting game, lol. Basically, TxPot is a contributor to the project, while I'm the developer on it. Ryon is my co-developer, though he had little to do with the system.
  18. The demo is released:
  19. Video: http://youtu.be/tPUYlbOq0D4 Images: Download: http://mugencoder.com/authors/details/266 (I don't think my host will allow me to upload a file of this size. I need to remake my site eventually anyways.) This demo contains 4 characters and 12 stages. I'm open to any and all feedback and hope you enjoy what I've made so far. :) Readme:
  20. Okay? What does that have to do with the theme? Stay on topic.
  21. Yeah, another one who can beat the game is Honchkrow. TxPot put in immunities so as you can guess Mewtwo is useless against him. While it's accurate, that really bugs me. How would you feel if you had to put the controller/keyboard down because you realized there was no point in fighting back?
  22. I tried, but got destroyed by Mewtwo. I'll admit I made Pikachu weak, but remember they're using semi-accurate stats from games. Thunder can do some serious damage though. Quick Attack can interrupt and Thunder Wave can really get the enemy into a bind, but randomly.
  23. Borewood quit hanging out here. You can try to get him on MMV, since that's where he's moved to.
