I have barely heard the term used as a means to get into a actual relationship with feelings. Booty calls do not count as a real relationship btw. Lol. I doubt that. Lol. Mugen been around like 15 years anx I have seen it grow more and more. Even when there is a slow down during periods like now. Its always better to air on the side of caution when concerning companies property works. Not sure how much they will seriously come after authors/creators thats using their official ripped works aside of those that create their own sprites from scratch emulating said works . If anythimg they would I figure go after sprite rippers first since those are the folks that literally breaking the legal copyrights of their intellectual property to be distributed freely for whatever purposes. Its still a grey area but it does impose on their rights. I got in mugen for same reasons Galv listed and then 4 years ago started tolearn to do my own stuff....got jealous of yall all having fun and doing stuff.lol. But I am still keepin my eyes open and staying aware of whats what with all this regardless.

ehh i figure i show a few of my old sprites i done since i tossed them on DA. these are being remade especially for ABR in its new sprite style. the main 2 hei and Jiro will be unlocks. Jiro mochizuki cocco the announcer from hunter x hunter stage bg character sprite ..animated that i done. Hei from Darker than black anime...slight tiny lil animation test. done some more from the roster but i wont show those till much later when more progress on them new versions is up to par and my standards. HDfying characters is lotta freakin dang work i tell ya!

Same thing I think too laharl and gen. Melty blood is way old stuff and why get pissed about it and come after mugen creators. Its sorta sad and a dull move on their part since they done moved onto more mainstream stuff wise as a company. I would seriously went after pirates cause they earning actual money off of them. My thing with them at ecole is...why now and why melty blood old ass stuff ya wanna biatch about at a community that paying creative respect to your old stuff? Its not like we selling anythng and making money from anything regarding the material. Its all done as fan art only. Its just weird or is ther some unseen motive at foot? I think that did actually happen around 9 years ago. Not sure but I remember something like that went on then an inside agreement was made of sorts. I can sorta understand on their stance especially if you seriously think about it from their point of perspective. I worked hard to make a game from top to bottom and someone rips all the work that was done and distributes my company work and use for free, and this happens to be a game that I am still relying on to turn in profits. Wether its just the sprites or a wholey created version of the original content , may not be in code exactly but its created using our work. So here in lies the issues between mugen community and actual companies stock that have concerns. It used to be one of my own concerns when I started messing woth mugen 14 years ago ( this november will make it 14 actually lol) and also when I eons later decided to learn to create my own characters and content via rips and as well company stock imagery. Its fan art nevertheless in mugen and pays respect in ways to the companies as we are fans, but I think its when folks that have tried get paid by selling mugen is what also bring the most negativity towards it and their concerns. They would really have a right to be pissed instantly.

Indeed it has and hopefully this doesnt start a domino effect with others following same course by other companies wether large large or small. Thats why since reading this and a while back on similar type topic I been staying low key on showing any of my sprites or any new screenshots for them for ABR cause they are and gonna be hd style. I dang sure dont wont any shots fired my way. lol. Yeah I think someone must have pissed them off and tried to rip UNIB sprites and put on net...the game is new. Melty blood been around for a long time and to come back and ask those to be takin down is weird since so long time has passed. Damn I had hoped someone would have ripped those UNIB sprites....better not to be on safe side.

Before i try a wip thread here i decided to show him off public in base sprite before i roll into the main stance animated . Crom Hobo king Lando presents the new TrashCan Larry revision.....way more like...Me....since i am Trashcan Larry anyway. new bases, one open toes kung fu shoe, hole in gi leg, one hole patched on other leg, fu man chu mustache...might need a bit more fu in it but based on positioned of body i figure, rope for belt....more ideal anyway for a hobo, grey anfd black wild hair, cause well i got some grey in my own plus he been around for a long time ...grandmasta hobo hense forth, and finally added a trashcan on his backk as not only is it part of his namesake but he uses it and whats inside of it. so before i do his wip thread here and permission to, i have some work to do on more sprites , animations, and get him a bit rollin into mugen again. keepin the plunger intro for a certain character.... . So i am takin some cool ideas in mind from folks as well what me and some others done cooked up and still coooking up to make him and the hobo squad that rolls with him hilarious. HOBOKENJUJITSUKEN!

Yeah depending on what directions, the positions of the sprite is where light applys and shade resides. She looks good bruh. And the new one I def see you gettin the hang of it more and more. I can tell you too with the lightsource from hd joints it varies per character too and not just the games styles. Had to find that crap out when I was frankening P4 arena sprites with blazblue and guilty gear sprites to make a complete new character. So cool fusion of both styles and keep, in play which way you want lightsource and shade to play goes long way my bro. Your doing good man and keep, it up. Lando wishes to see more spriters evolve into hd hr stuff over time. Good going ex champ.

Gonna post some of my android only sprites for the android fighting game I am building sideline of hobby projects called Vayngel Reign. I been workin on others slowly building the roster visually, 16 total, some using bases while others are hand drawn no bases. Those will becoming during the months I got to work on them and the various mugen only projects I have already. I am doing stages which will be same mixed bag of hand drawn and some edited heavily sprites as well the HD screenpack and custom artwork for ports if possible. I work slow but I work hard and learning as I go to get better at everything visually and internal to building a solid frame structure for this and my other projects. Thanx for checkin it out so far. Top sprite sexy babe named Red Ryha needs her arms added and more details I have to do. lol.

lol thanx bruh. my homie Wolviesam hooked that up on the stage and of course the sprite is now a whole other way and the stage gettin remade different and Hr. I am still doing a low res version of Luffy still. hopefully i surprise a few folks with the new look of Luffy on the project...as well many others. hehehehe.

here is a look at a couple of the low res versions of ABR characters i am working on and with Luffy stage ( with my version of Luffy low res) Thousand Sunny ship...which will be redone in HR as well to fit everything else in the new look. Adam Blade by Lando ( low res version) Bushiod brown as well will be totally different now from this version. Monkey D Luffy by Lando ( low res version all scratch made no bases) he is getting redone as well in new sprite style all scratch made and very few bases will be used.

thanx bruh Lightflare homie!. i am trying to always get better at spriting and everything i can do and learning to do for myself and project work. here are a few screenshots so far of the new Training stage i am having reworked from what i done with the cvs2 layout but redone in my own style for the ABR project. its still getting redone from this and new color tiles and such with better floor the way i want. yeah it aint perfect and not the way i want it to be right just yet visually and with the floor mainly. the added stuff like the tubes and such i put there as a testing it out first before i change it all up. The huge monitor will actually be the main thing still there as a fixture and might have animation in a gif type or show off scrolling fighting footage. i have several ideas for it but i have to see whats actually doable with those ideas for the screen mto show certain things i want shown. I am waiting till i am ready to show off the project more here in its own thread when time and have more of the actual characters ready on deck this year sometime to show them and the hard work going into it all. this is just a sample test to where the idea i want to go with this training stge to go. i am working on a hand drawn version too which should be much better if once shading and coloring the thing goes well.

This my old low res version of my original character ( slightly based off of Gladiator from marvel since i am a fan ...found out later there was a female version too lol) Shyla Supreme. She will be redone but in HR/HD for my original Android only 2D fighting full game. i might change up a few things on her for that version.

I been a member here for awhile but never said much or came in like that, so yeah its high time i get my Landoism self up in here and check out the place and see whats good and network . Spread that Crom and community fam unity sun! @ Lightflare...yo i def had to have the tv's in the seats man. My kids love that and rather sit in the back seat anyway, keeps them from messing with my monitor in the dash and messing with my stuff on the mini cpu. lol. Gots to have the stunna shades on bros, Plus they a good pimpin hideaway for eye candy till them shades come off for the ladies and BAM! lol . I also plan to get my Black Camry to have tv's in it too. Hail Crom!
