congrats on getting into creation. now take the next step and make this guy more your own. glad you edited the helpers, since miss martian and kid flash wouldnt work work hawkeye. however, not sure how connected crystal is either. also along the lines of making your own, maybe change up the arrow effects. maybe this link will help give you inspiration to do just that: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trick_arrows

not gonna list everything, only a few things that are currently active and i have some kind of a role in. abomination by cravd and arkady http://mugenmultiverse.fanbb.net/t2546p15-wip-reveal-abomination-by-cravd#37389 hulk enemy. very monster like. that why the appearance and name hawkeye by nicotinefist and arkady http://mugenmultiverse.fanbb.net/t222-hawkeye-by-nicotinefist-and-arkady long time WIP coming to fruition now. on a personal note, recently became a favorite char of mine Dr. Steven Strange by Angelus Sliverhead, Arkady and volzzilla http://mugenmultiverse.fanbb.net/t215-dr-steven-strange-by-angelus-sliverhead-arkady-and-volzzilla not intended to be mvc3 accurate. will be out in 2013 too Phoenix Cyclops by Angelus_Silverhead, borg117 and volzzilla http://mugenmultiverse.fanbb.net/t712-phoenix-cyclops nothing new really to report other than angelus recently got a ton of sprites from me for various hypers and specials and he loved them. should be released later this yr depending on borg's coding time full list can be seen at: http://mugenmultiverse.fanbb.net/t731-mugen-multiverse-comic-wip-tracker

i wasnt referring to topic creation. i'm referring to topics that basically turned into bash threads, and i think part of the reason was because some people had the actual intention to actually bash.
-
i'm pretty sure there were some people with that actual intention

main hulk? am i the only person that like duplicates (as long as they are different)? i have 6 hulks...8 if you count the red ones, lol

paint.net dont have anything like that, and i dont know if PS does or not due to my main uses for it are indexing and direct pcx editing. though how is selecting the edge any less time consuming than the process i mentioned (no snark, remember, zero familiarity with the process you mentioned)

i wanted to stay out of this, but that last line was bullshit. the rule? we can't help it if we dont have alot of people that know how to give feedback. we have maybe 3 regular people that know how. me, erroratu and arkady. and arkady dont do it due to he's too busy sprite editing or coding, making smart pals or whatever else. so that leaves 2 people really. and me, i'm no expert, but i try...if its something that interests me. not to mention, i've been doing alot of my own sprite editing lately, so that counts out more time for DLing, playing, figuring out feedback (i should be credited for a few releases later this yr) erroratu's the same way. he'll give feedback if its a char he has interest in. you (or anyone else) is welcome to come to MMV to try and teach some folks how to give feedback. my point is, try not to make a community wide insult just because we are lacking in people with that kind of know how. its definitely not purposeful, and absolutely not a rule like you are trying to make it out to be. and btw, i've given feedback many times to ax. i dont know the track record for implementing, but i know he says thank you. pretty sure some of whatever went into the last hulk update at the minimum. forgive me for not remembering more as its not exactly something i keep track of (people giving attention to my feedback), nor will i ever keep track of it or give a shit if they do or not, much less rant about it. btw 2.0, was there any positive (since you brought it up) feedback in any of these anti-Ax (thats the impression i've gotten from them all) threads?

while dont have them both side by side, whatever looks pretty identical to me. anyway... how does this render in gimp work exactly? what i do currently is open whatever up in paint.net, use magic wand to remove the BG, then if need be remove individual pixels. then take it over to PS and index, where sometimes need to mess with pixels again.
-
hope you just meant cancelling a release now and not overall as i liked your original hulk and i look forward to an update
-
you seem pretty good regarding creating transparencies. wondering if how you do it is alot easier than how i do it? sometimes i literally have to go in on both the png and the pcx file (i like to also give people that version) pixel by pixel to remove the BG. can be time consuming and wondering if you figured an easier way? edit: i just noticed you had a couple i did i was saving for a portrait pack. your nick fury looks pretty much exactly like mine.

do you know all what he did. i'm kind of holding out to where the missing get hit animations get addressed before DLing a new copy considering i edited the large port, small port, hyperport, a couple command strings, and win quotes on my personal version. btw, in my feedback above, i left out how seen some air walking and weird P2 get hit physics from the mighty swing. anyone know how to contact him?
-
video i made to try and show off all the moves... while not perfect, i like him alot - gorgeous sprites - very cool how so much from mvc3 in him including the awesome sound - a few get hit animations missing - a number of alignment issues - not great clsn boxes - why does his taunt hurt you? - sound on jump needs timing adjustment - f,d,df+P special should animate quicker - so should the taunt - the hyper where you shoot all the arrows directly upward almost useless and would like its command layout swapped with the diagonally firing one (did that on my copy) - need to remove the enter win quotes lines from win quotes (or customize them like i did) - not a fan of some of the fx - would like the combination hitting hyper changed from a counter to straight up attack (personal preference) btw, for any of you unsure about the button layout due to you are used to 6 buttons, give it a shot. i'm usually the same way, but i really got used to playing that style. if this tells you anything, for the most part, i'm not a very good player except with a few characters. i'm pretty solid with him had 2 epic fights i won against deadpool by infinite and the thing by warner (his AI, not IMT AI. warner AI much stronger)

lord m: thanx for the news :) are there any images/videos of those WIPs? what else he have in mind? the guys great with sprites so i'm an instant fan.
-
wow. kudos to phantom blood. how the hell did you find that?
-
the bg with the car all came in one big sprite provided by tank402. still hoping someone could tell me how to add coding for left/right adjusting perspective to the HUD i added in the middle of the stage.
-
not that any of you had been missing me or whatever, but apologies for being missing around here. had alot going on in general to where kind of limited my mugen community presence to MMV only. anyway, here's my feedback (much already mentioned, but for sake of completism, will post it all) from MMV... -why does his tie appear and disappear at times? -different sprite style on his head from body or is something else causing the difference i see? -shading and detailing inconsistencies when doing any standing punch -no air or crouching attacks -well, 1 air attack, but that seems to be more suited to be an air special to stomp down on whoever -no hypers -both projectiles have different spriting style -add more cool down to both projectiles to where can't infinite them -why is a jump connected to MK? -standing HP, LK, and HK all seem better suited to be specials than basic attacks -standing HP has a weird bug where if repeatedly attack with it, you'll go into a state where no longer animates and P2 is put in a corresponding state where they'll continually take damage -can infinite all punches in a corner -whats that weird thing that appears when try to super jump? -the air recovery sprite looks too flat footed in the air giving him an awkward look -no forward dash -head in weird position in some gethits -goes into template stick figure sprites for get thrown animation -goes into template stick figure sprites for getting electrified animation -goes into template stick figure sprites for getting frozen animation -most sounds are more monkey based and dont seem to fit good luck to dj hannibalroyce on updating.

we comic mugen focused people are a different breed. the bulk of our stages we prefer to be comic related (i do have a few others but by far its a smaller percentage). and most of them are low res. now if there were other pros to having 1.1 other than the changing stage thing, then maybe i'd think about it.

Darkflare's Lair by Vegaz_Parrelli
volzzilla replied to LightFlare_Da_Realest's topic in Reign Of Kreation
i'm not feeding into any hate. i'm merely replying to a topic :) however, there won't be any forgiving, i can tell you that :P and i like what you did. maybe he never did whatever to you specifically, but you are vocalizing for a ton of people that wish they could have made a bash stage just like that due to his antagonizing, douche like behavior. -
then i'll stick with 1.0. heck, the bulk of my stages are lo res ones.
-
so really the only reason to get this over 1.0 is if you want those zooming stages to work correctly?

Gorilla Grodd Very early Beta by Jhonny-DC & Cravd released 5/1/13
volzzilla replied to Lord Batros's topic in [ 2013 ]
while i'm thankful jhonny decided to share this (with hopeful improvements) this shouldnt be classified as a 'mugenmultiverse' release (referring to post above) jhonny happened to make a release topic there. that the main connection to the website. cravd is a team member there (look for his red hulk later in the yr), the work here with jhonny was more on his own. i had no idea that much work even done. cravd just sprites what he wants, where he wants, with who he wants. i agree the sprites for grodd could use a little more detail, but in general, he a really good (and fast) sprite artist. though i'm pretty sure in the case of grodd, jhonny did much of the initial sprite work and cravd then joined him to help. -
Darkflare's Lair by Vegaz_Parrelli
volzzilla replied to LightFlare_Da_Realest's topic in Reign Of Kreation
it not about not knowing how to talk to people. its about the guy being a total dick. i dont give a shit if he can give feedback or not. it possible to give feedback without making an effort to antagonize and be a dick to people. he went out of his way to antagonize (on purpose) demonkai on imt. and that far from the first time (only the most recent) he acted like that. the guy is a total douche bag and deserves all this talk, the stage mocking him, and anything else bad about him due to the fact he literally treats people bad on purpose for one reason and one reason only. he thinks it gives himself credibility and he enjoys it. lots of people can give good feedback without acting like that. here some feedback for the stage. write in bold lettering in the background saying, "darkflare is a douche bag" or "fuck you darkflare" or something of that magnitude. rename it in the same degree too. -
updated again to not have random animation appear on the shrink hyper

Darkflare's Lair by Vegaz_Parrelli
volzzilla replied to LightFlare_Da_Realest's topic in Reign Of Kreation
its because darkflare is the typical internet bully. he'd never go after anyone fairly established. he'll go after anyone else for the mere sake of that how he gets his jollies off.
