  6. Robot Chicken is so silly. But anyway... Tetsuwan Atom is a animated japanese series whose had several serious plot elements like these related to death, atomic energy reference and self sacrifice. When Tetsuwan Atom was translated to english, the series was altered to fit the american rule that "everything animated is a cartoon and should be suitable for children." As such, all television series were adapted in "Astro Boy" which despite of all suscess is a "kid's friendly" version of the original(with the exception of the Dark Horse's manga publication). Due to that all dubbed series are inconsistent if compared with the original work and elements which were considered inappropriate for children were edited or removed. Although the dubbed series contributed to Tezuka's work to be better known outside Japan, it's important to know that the dub is not absolute and Tezuka's original and unedited work still have the right to be known world wide. It's important to use both titles to differ the "kid's friendly" version of Tezuka's work from the original and unedited work. In resume: Astro Boy is a "kid's friendly" version of Tetsuwan Atom since it was edited to fit the rule "that everything animated is a cartoon and should be suitable for children". So, much of it's content were altered in order to create a dubbed series suitable for "all ages". Tetsuwan Atom is a japanese series and due to that, the american rule which states "that everything animated is a cartoon and should be suitable for children" doesn't affect the quality of Tezuka's work in the country of origin. Due to that, the original creators have free creative control which allow them to make more serious stories with a more moral message. It's been said that Tezuka had once received critiques stating that he should change his concept of story for being too violent, however as Tezuka is japanese and have his own creative control, he could not follow the same rule which only exists in America. Considering it would be against his right as a author.

  8. I understand the dub was important for the series popularity, but it's still not absolute. I believe that would be better if we had at least the entire subbed series subbed officially in Bluray releases. So, nobody would bother to go after piracy to watch the real thing.
  9. With localcoord, Sagat could be stand tall than other SSF2 HD chars for example and not being big as it since he would a pretty easy target specially against certain bosses like Slogra and Gaibon from the Alchemy Lab. Anyway, good luck^^

  11. I had to change the character's theme song, because Youtube bot was spamming me due the Castlevania: Symphony of The Night OST. So, I used The Legend Of Dragoon's Boss Battle and Major Boss Battle instead.   14. I've watched the video, I do have niconico video account. I'm currently making a new win pose for Uran which she jumps. Also, do you have suggestions to fix her throw?
  15. Uran is looking to to the other side of the screen while walking back, it's like Meteo's walking frames. By the way, I'm bad with throws, mind to fix it? You can post videos of her beating characters and bonus games here if you like.

  22. I had ignored that topic at first thinking that a new member who don't knew english wanted to join anyway and post in japanese, unfortunatelly it was a much hard reality... I was wanting to wait her to log on and chat, but things don't worked like that. The last character which YuYu tested for me was Uran and she was very supportive to the point of giving ideas. Well, YuYu... I don't know where you went, but I'll continue that work since I'm sure that is what you would wish me to.

  24. YuYuStars has always being a great betatester and she always worked hard. It's hard to believe that she have died. I know that she have a sister who speaks english, so it's strange the news being all in japanese.
