  1. Yikes! Sorry guys, it's not a timed thing with commands, it's a simple watch and die thing.

    To be honest, I never really enjoyed (in any character) that temporary control in an enhanced form like that. I guess I dislike it because it's so limited in range and how long it can be used. Another drawback for me is you lose your old self in there that you meant to play as. Those are my reasons. Sorry. However, this character is open source like last time, so if anyone wants to do whatever with all or some of this, feel free to make a "mini" game battle or patch or stage or whatever. No credit necessary. 

    I've actually made a boss similar to onslaught before (for Super Smash Fighters mugen game) but that was different from the mode idea.

    Update: the ape is animated now. I'm in the process of coding it. I need to add the blast and some sounds to as well as the startup transformation. I think it's going to take a while.

    But if that comment is for him when he gets back, then he'll acknowledge it.

    I know and this patch isn't for TheAnswer, it's for winmugen only players. I hate for them to miss out on this download. I know I was at first. XD

  3. Oh I thought you meant reversing it and then versing it in this order to make the sequence longer. Like basically adding in a turning around piece, and then afterwards, and turning back. :P

    Speaking of monkey heads...... XD

    All images have been ripped and just need to be edited for mugen.

    It's probably good enough for a stage even? So basically the ape rises up (hands stay in place) and then opens his mouth for a blast from the past, Yoshi's island - Giant Bowser style.

    I was thinking to make a golden palette but now I am not sure that it will look good enough? Maybe Goku will need to do this without going super....?

     

  4. Thanks zemilla, I hate to search all the episodes for reference shots, this will be a big help for me. save me time.

    @RobotMonkeyHead, I was thinking of that but I'm not sure it would help the problem. Maybe doing both options at once?

    Update:

    Goku's lose sequence is complete and so is his resurrection round 2 recovery. Heaven and Hell in conjunction ;)

    With his intro and victory all ready in, he is just about finished with that section. Just need storyboards and he's ready for totally complete status; A release I have never done before and that few, even til this day, have achieved...that is if I can make it... X(

    NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT WORK!!!!!! XO

    There have been also tons of upgrades and add-ons from the to do list. I'm about half done with it. New stuff includes dust fxs for specials, sounds for some missing stuff, scene enhancements for some moves, and more borrowed stuff from other dbz characters such as Z2, Mugen Dream/Choujin, and others. Great Resources!!!

    Aside from the fixes and storyboards, I just have one more thing to do before release, the final finisher, Golden Ozaruu!!!!!! *monkey dance*

  5. If I remember correctly, there was thunder in the background as Goku was going through his transformation. Maybe you can add some thunder effects to add some more pizzazz to his transformation.

    Just a suggestion. Keep up the good work, Ax. :)

    Transformation looks a bit too simple. Maybe you could have made him scream? (since that's how he did it when he 1st transformed)

    Might be 3 more frames then... :(

  6. I'm not sure but I have my doubts, these characters seem very alpha, or early beta. The gameplay looks different to my memory of recently released versions. If I'm not mistaken, these feel more like the coded DBZ mugen edition characters 2000-2015??? Hmmm?

    So yeah, I'm not entirely sure but I think they might be their own version coming from MugenMundo/and or his team???

    Also that piccolo has had no release anywhere prior to my knowledge? I believe he's the first mugen conversion that I know of using these rips.

No, sorry that was misleading, the reason I wrote Gohan is that I'm not only using Goku and SS Goku Extreme Butoden sprite sheets, but also SS Gohan extreme butoden sprite sheet; seeing as how they are all wearing the same clothes, it's possible to mix them together for seamless and expanded results. One could literally build the most comprehensive and best Goku with the greatest of detail using all these resources together. With a little frankenspriting, recoloring, you can have the largest spritesheet ever and make three times the attacks!

    Unfortunately I'm making a different Goku though I love the fact that my resources for this version have expanded to a level I never thought possible, both by the first instance of bases made available to me, then Bathazarr's resources springing up, allowing me to finally start a Goku, and then finally Extreme Butoden coming in to fill any other gaps, as well as allowing me to add/expand more!!!

    I'm gonna turn this into this basically, ~

    EB Goku and EB SS Goku don't have this facing the player pose (as seen in the anime pictured on the far right ((screen-cap)), but SS Gohan does, so I just need to swap out a head, turn him shirtless and wallah, new animation for Goku. 

    Note: this is a mock edit, merely to demonstrate, this took 1-2 minutes. Notice the legs are EB Gohan's, not EB Goku's!

     

  8. Ill look into the purple thing. Dont recall seeing that before. Erm, not considering eng voice patch. The eng voice lacks the rugged tenacity of his jap voice. 

    The English movie itself was terrible, I even tried getting a japanese version, just so it could be tolerable. The English music sucked, totally uninspired, nowhere near as good as the tv series tracks, both jap/eng. The English lines delivered lackluster all together. Back at MMV, I said the same thing to a few years back. It was the reason why I didn't want to do Broly for mugen. I couldn't appreciate him because of the Funimation version. AAAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!! X(      

      Though I started liking him again after I saw him in DragonBallMultiverse fan comic.

                                                    BTW I love your character! Inspiring, and I practice against him every day XD

  9. @Clownman: Cool, I'll check those bob-omb sprites out.  For the Warioman intro, if anyone else wants to produce the sprites I'll use them, but don't think I'm up for adding sprite creation to my current work load.

    Progress Update:

    Max Fastosity Dasherator hyper is finished, save for sparks / dust / explosion etc.  Here's a quick video preview.

    This wip has gotten more complex, I thought I could release this soon but it's going to be a lot longer. I've decided to expand more details in nearly every move & add additional extras for eye candy, as well as expanding some features. Here's a list, but it's more for myself to keep track of...this is going to take awhile....

     

    *add tracking gust to head tackle & spirit bomb.

    *rip, clean, or remake impact fxs x3.

    *Alternate S.S. Aura, Regular victory aura, Super Kaiokan Aura additions, SS3 aura ball.

    *custom victory wind fxs, skylight comeback fxs, Loony Toons black-hole fxs, s.s. lightning intro fxs, s.s. take off splash fxs, electric blue sparks fxs, flash hitspark fxs, Mighty Blast of rage startup flash, floating faded rocks fxs.

    *spirit bomb Travel sound, Solarflare sounds, Lose sound fxs, comeback sound/tune.

    *new intro transformation (gohan), comeback animation, explosion geyser, surprise kick in strike in guard push.

    *complete kaiokan ozaruu cutoff, fix kameha wave splash cutoff.

    *code comback, lose, counter strike kick, Golden Ozaruu finisher, super armor Super saiyan aura shield.

    *intro: scenes, music, sounds, rips.

    *ending: scenes, music, sounds, rips.

    *Toei credits scroll.

  11. A good thread though, sorry i missed it.

    For accuracy you can play the real games themselves, mugen, however, is the engine that allows you to expand into unknown territories. It can be strange, it can be familiar, it's all up to the player/collector.

    In no way will mugen ever be better than the accurate rendition by a professional company, however, one can enjoy a characterization more if it's customized for that person and like minded individuals. Some will say it's heresy while others will say, why didn't this happen sooner?

    I say, it's better to go custom. Why? It's more interesting this way. In all likelihood there are all ready accurate conversions (I use that loosely) so the only way to have something refreshing is to make it another way. This doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be better or even fun, but that's always a possibility for you, the player/collector. 

    Doing things custom allows just a lot more. A new version of the game comes out, well guess what, you can implement those new features in an update with your custom version that shares the best of both worlds. Or why limit it to that, why not introduce your own unique idea? Maybe even add something that should have been there but wasn't for reasons unknown.

    If you didn't have custom, you would not have 90% of mugen out here. Granted much of it will likely not be to your liking, some of it may, however. And that's just an automatic plus because you get more or at least more options.

  12. The Ozaruu thing is gonna be done last, I'm focusing on Janemba finisher.

    The ape will be all scenematics, similar to Broly's walk and punch thing. Goku will just drop to his knee and as soon as he is hit,  pause, then the BG darkens, a tail pops out the back, Goku grows large and hairy. Blackout, Ozaruu appears full screen, opens his mouth, and blasts away. Maybe I'll add a silhouette being consumed? Finally a white out, and everything is normal. Goku and opponent both on the ground, maybe a sort of double k.o. ?
