(ignore that the trailer isn't centered, believe me I tried.)

My first MUGEN character done mainly from scratch (with some help, read the credits). All of his specials are done and he only needs one hyper left (3 out of 4). This is pretty much a love letter to the franchise, as well as a few elements being tributes of sorts to why I became invested in this engine in the first place.

Get the character - Grab Holn's AI patch (link will be reinstated when an update to the patch is out)

Been a while yet again, huh?

 

So here's the updates that happened since I was gone yet again:

Beta 2 [5/1/2025]

Make sure to change "Garf_GF" to "Garfield_GF" when updating. Important stuff listed as usual.
 

  • Air version of Happy Day
  • New hyper: What's On Now?
  • New mechanics: Throw, Counterattack
  • s.HK is now a launcher
  • Existing hypers updated
  • Cat Pounce no longer launches opponents back up if they're in the air
  • Pacing changes for Remote Possibilities
  • [Quick Fix] New sound efect for Remote Possibilities/What's On Now?
  • [Quick Fix] Throw helper fixed

 

Beta 2.05 [5/3/2025]

  • Added a little note at the beginning of the readme (also corrected the throw command in the movelist)
  • Basic attack and level 1 hyper damage values tweaked
  • Damage dampener slightly tweaked
  • Air Chili con Flame now has the same amount of hits as its ground version
  • You can no longer combo into Chili con Flame from Caped Avenger
