What's your opinion on "Symbiote Edits" & if you do, what's your favorite one so far?

I know that this is a very oblivious question but I wanna know on what people have to say on "Symbiote Edits" & if you do like them, then what's your favorite one so far? As for myself, my favorite one has to be Symbiote Peketo by LoquendoAnimal000.

Personally dislike them, an artifact of an earlier time however. I would personally care if there were any gameplay changes to note, but given how they're paletteswaps and filtered sounds at most, I don't see the point. I did personally like a Symbiote edit of Super Mario Maker, mainly because it had replaced the few Mario clips with snippets from rock songs. Very interesting choice.

I find them to be really lazy honestly.

 

It just tends to be the same song and dance over and over.

Well, I must confess that I am not very familiar with the subject. The only character I have downloaded that include a "Symbiote label" was such a "Symbiote Omega Tiger Woods" This edit resulted being OTW2012 without any changes and, for some reason, a single graydish palette for all the buttons... The "edit" was quite unnecessary if you ask me.
