tajmahmoud10 Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 And About Roster FourZeroNine aka MAXinsanity00
LATER HERO Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 This is my main MUGEN roster. It's based on characters from Logical Bends site (The_None & aokmaniac13 website) and characters that have an interaction with Omega Tiger Woods 2012 (my main, of course). It's still incomplete.
FatalArtics0555 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Back again with another roster, I keep giving up on finishing my rosters that I end up deleting them. But this time, I'm using the Legacy SP and probably will actually finish this (Dozens of hidden characters will probably be added when I finish my roster.) (You also won't be seeing any awful characters and paletteswaps in this roster, still have some Mediocre characters in this roster, screenshots hopefully might not be too big.) LEGACY ROSTER SELECT DEF HIDDEN CHARACTERS VIDEO (Little fight between Shaq and Abomination after Roster showcasing):
LATER HERO Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Today I've changed my 2nd roster. I left out overpowered characters and replace them with another in favor of a more balanced roster... Still some few cheap characters. If in the next weeks I find them annoying I will be changing them as well. MUGEN 1.1 Elecbyte Original Screenpack (214 slots edit).
LGM2006 Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 Here is my current MUGEN character roster, since last month (as of 7/28/2023). I am using the standard MUGEN 1.0 screenpack, with the "big" motif for more characters to put into my roster. As you can see on this image, it sure does have an insane list of characters and stages. It took me about 19 days to complete my whole roster and it seems like I have done a pretty well job on it. There are some characters here and there that not many people own nowadays, notably the ones from the DOS era, as well as a few that are hard to find, but I have managed to reupload them. This is a remake of my previous roster from last year, since that one has suffered from many past events and I want to have this one to stay what it looks for now, until that I update it anytime soon. Post Update (1/20/2024): As what I just promised, I managed to take some time to finish updating my MUGEN roster during the end of the past Christmas Eve (12/24/2023), with some more characters and stages, so here's what it looks like now:

Actually as you perfectly know, you use an edited select screen. The "Big" motif can be filled up to 60 characters. Just to say something I would like use the "kfm" motif but with the select screen edited with a lot more slots. I find it very strange, confusing and even laborious to edit the character selection screen in MUGEN, but I guess I should try it one day... LGM2006 1

I did know that the "big" motif can fill in 60 characters, but I had the idea to add more slots for an easier way to make the select screen large enough in this motif. The other motifs would probably be somewhat time consuming to do so because of that reason. Forgot to mention that I was watching one of Beterhans' tutorials on how to add extra slots for more characters to put into before that I can attempt to do the same thing.

You know what, I'd like to use your select screen. Can you share with me your motif files? LGM2006 1

Since you mentioned you use the standard MUGEN 1.0 screenpack like me, to share the files "system.def" and "select.def" of your edited motif would be sufficient. Sorry for be so lazy myself. I wasn't too sure if I was on the right track yet, but this might be what you're talking about: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ztgkspw1i91iz14/mugen100_charselectfiles.zip/file As what you mentioned, I can share just those two files to you, right? If it is, I'll let you have a look at it. BTW, these appear to be from a backup of my old roster from the past 7 months, as if I have already updated my actual one not too long ago. I'll be sure to post it here as soon as I have time. LATER HERO 1
LGM2006 Posted August 17, 2024 Posted August 17, 2024 I managed to give my own character roster a whole new makeover. This roster has been updated during my past summer vacation (6/30/2024). Some more extra goodies have also been added, in which they were not in anyone else's roster before. As to be expected, this is an overall improvement over my two other rosters that I showcased here, as if there are way more characters and stages to choose from, making it more of an ambitious project than anyone would expect it to be. A link to it will be available to download soon, at least by the end of this year. Oh, and BTW, here's a small preview for how long it took me to design my whole new roster and make more of these character slots, if anyone else is interested: https://www.mediafire.com/file/wc9tk3o3uy5oi7v/supermugen100_charselectfiles.zip/file
Kanfong Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 The first screenpack I used was the "MUGEN Megamix by Fido", now currently I use the "MUGEN Megamix HD Remix by Devon".
LGM2006 Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Alright, everyone. Here I have yet another screenshot of my character roster. This time, I managed to have the opportunity to fill in several more rows of chars and bonus stages ever since the beginning of the year. Now with some more rarities (a few of them were common back then, but not as much in recent years). It took me some extra time to figure out how it would've looked right now, and after what I just got for the final result, it started to get better. Perhaps because I didn't want my screen to cover up some of the extra chars that I was gonna put, and that's why I had to adjust the design of my roster a little. This probably might be the best out of all the 4 character rosters that I showcased. And that's something that I would've put in other words. And before you ask: How did the select icon of a specific character get there twice? Well, it's likely because it's a version of said char that is either different/updated/edited. For example, the first icon for Warner's Homer Simpson is the original Spanish version, while the second icon is JudgeSpear's edit, the one with an English voicepack. The same thing goes for Wolverine, as if Dragman's version of him is first shown in the middle of the roster, and Sander's would later show up in the bottom of it. As always, you guys are more than welcome to take a peak at what the current files of my character roster look like: https://www.mediafire.com/file/0do3v48lcds9x8c/supermugen100X_charselectfiles.zip/file

I was thinking on playing online your MUGEN with you. Yes MUGEN, not IKEMEN, MUGEN. If you could share your screen to me with software like the well known Parsec. I never have played MUGEN online and I don't know if that may become crappy like desync issues but I would like to try it just for fun. Or if you don't like my idea how about I can watch you playing MUGEN on Discord? Discord has the feature of sharing the screen but unlike Parsec it is just to watch. I'd like to watch you playing MUGEN or, if you want I play instead and you watch me. What you think about it? LGM2006 1

Now about the two suggestions that you had given me about me and my MUGEN game in general, well, I'd love to see either myself or you play with it online. However, there is only one warning that I would have to give: Not all the characters in my roster would work completely, as if there are some that would end up freezing or crashing the game without any specific error messages. And I know that wouldn't be a very fun experience for most people to interact with, especially me. A skilled programmer might know how to fix those kinds of problems (likely because it has something to do with the AIR file), but normal people can't do that. I would make a compatibility list of all these chars, just so I could see which of them worked and which of them crashed the game, but that would take a long time. Hmmm, I think I'll probably have someone else to do it after that I upload my latest update of my full game sometime, just so that I can understand which ones I should avoid fighting with the next time I play with my game again. I know that characters like those from Andres Borghi's full game "The Black Heart", YOUKAI's Naruto, and most recently Evil Kung Fu Man, all have that kind of issue, even though the game did load them up once a battle has started, so they're already in my list of regressions. Another possible reason why it might be impossible to do this goal is because there are some other important things that I would have to do. Apologies if you heard what I had said, but it's most likely the truth. Oh, and I have reuploaded the picture of my current roster and the DL link for the files just a little, because there was just one character that I had (TheIransonic's self-insert char), in which I seemed to add in a little too early, so I decided to replace him with another char (the Thanksgiving turkey). Don't know why, but can you please edit what you quoted from my previous post? Just so that anyone won't end up running into a dead link. Hope you don't mind. Thanks for the requests though.

I've been too lazy to continue working on my character rosters to make them more complete and better. I should get back to working on them soon. LGM2006 1
